More than a 5 star experience
My experience far exceeded five stars and all my expectations. From the food, to the lodging, to the safari, everything was beyond wonderful. Surat was my driver/guide and he is phenomenal. I feel so lucky to have been paired with him. He made me feel safe the whole journey and has an amazing eye for spotting animals. He is extremely patient and made my trip so memorial. Don’t hesitant with booking this company for your safari.

Unforgettable first safari experience with Sun Up
We had an unforgettable safari experience with Sun Up Adventures.
Firstly, a huge thank you to Chris for organising the entire trip. As this was our first safari, everything was new to us, but he was extremely helpful and responsive, answering all our questions and making the planning process straightforward. We completed a seven-day Kenyan safari from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli, before returning to Nairobi in July 2026.
Everything ran smoothly, the accommodation was excellent throughout, and the food was fantastic at every location. We particularly enjoyed the tented camps at Mara Maisha Camp and Kibo Safari Camp.
Secondly, an enormous thank you to our guide, Josh. He was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the wildlife and landscape, sharing fascinating information throughout the trip and always taking the time to answer our questions.
Josh also seemed to have an amazing instinct for where the animals would be and where they were heading. Thanks to him, we saw lions feeding on a kill in the Maasai Mara, a cheetah sprinting after its prey, both black and white rhinos at Lake Nakuru, and the incredible elephants in the marshes at Amboseli. He always seemed to get us into the right place at exactly the right moment.
Thank you to Chris, Josh and the Sun Up Adventures team for making the experience so special and memorable. We could not have asked for a better first safari.
