Absolutely our greatest experience so far.
5/5

Me and my wife celebrated the honeymoon in zanzibar and ended the trip with a fantastic 5 day safari group tour. Absolutely the best trip in our life. There is nothing bad to say about the staff, they were professional, Daniel was service minded and arranged everything superb, our chef cooked great food and last but not least our driver Elias, very safe in his driving and talented in his role as a guide.

Great budget camping safari with outstanding service, it'a a trip of a lifetime
5/5

I was somewhat anxious about booking a safari in Tanzania and worried about the quality of the company even despite good reviews. So I booked the trip with Rhino Explorers and hoped for the best. Well having just returned from my trip I can say that I was so happy with my decision. Daniel who is the owner frequently checked with me to ensure that all was well. My guide Emmanuel was so easy going, great driver, friendly, and was very knowledgeable about the animals and safari details. He worked very hard to ensure our trip was a success. My group of 6 ALL thought very highly of him. He made the trip so special for each of us. No question we asked was below him.We agreed that we were so lucky that we were with him. The truck was clean and comfortable. The plug ins for electronic devices was great. No worries your batteries will die at the wrong time. Food was pretty good with more than ample amounts and variety. In fact there were always leftovers and we were full. We saw the BIG 5. The Venice hotel in Arusha was clean and very comfortable for my pre and post safari and I was surprised that a budget safari included a hotel of this calliber. Daniel worked with me individually to modify a few details of my trip to meet my needs which were easily done. He is very professional and takes such pride in his operations. Airport pick up/drop off was on time to the minute. You will be glad you went with this company and I highly recommended this company. You will have a spectacular safari that you will remember forever

Amazing safari, unforgettable experience, trustworthy and ambitious company and good value for money
5/5

Our private safari with Rhino Explorer was a very exciting and unforgettable experience. We planned the safari with Daniel, the manager of Rhino Explorer. All our questions were answered immediately. Daniel provided helpful information and assisted our preparations. He really cares for his customers. We (2 adults and one teenager) spent 8 days / 7 night in the Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater area. Everything went to our satisfaction and worked as it was planned (pick up from the airport, hotel accomodations and the safari itself).
With David we had an exellent driver and guide. He has a comprehensive knowledge about fauna and flora and he has very sharp eyes. He always sighted the animals before us, although he was driving the car. We liked his humour and we had good and interesting conversations in the evenings. Also our chef was exellent. He provided us with delicious meals througout the safari.
The landscapes, animals, impressions and memories we will never forget. We saw the big five apart from many other animals. The most exciting highlight was thegreat migration of the wildebeest and zebras. You can get an impression of our experiences by watching the short movie of our son (https://youtu.be/cqBxKS4XWPk).

An awesome safari in which we experienced much more than expected!
5/5

Our family of five had an awesome time during our 7 night and 6 day safari with Rhino Explorer. We learnt a lot and experienced much more than expected. I can really recommend this length of trip to be able to fully explore and enjoy the lovely parks and all the unique animals. Our personal driver and excellent guide David had a huge knowledge and shared everything with us in a very friendly and relaxing manner making us all feel safe, never afraid and with a great home feeling. On top of this our professional chef Action served us delicious food both for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even our three children expressed their ratings for the pumpkin soup one evenings as "the best soup they ever had tasted - why can't we have this at home"! We where amazed and was wondering how such good food could be kocked during quite simple conditions. The first contacts with Daniel and Rhino Explorer was also very easy and he quickly built up a trust and good relation with us even though the distance between Sweden and Arusha was large before we arrived in Tanzania. We were picked-up on time at the airport and transported to the very nice Venice Hotel to eat and rest before going out on the safari. During the safari David where spotting animals all over, it's amazing to be close to someone with such good eyes - we managed to see all big fives, the wild beast migration and of course a lot more. This safari is something we will remember as one of the best travels ever for very long time! Many thanks to Daniel, David and Action at Rhino Explorer. We hope to be back and see you some day again!

A great experience for my family and I
5/5

We had an amazing tour with Rhino Explorer. Our driver/quide "Rocky" impressed us by his knowledge. I even had a story for each of the animails we saw. Pretty clean and nice camps with noices of hyenas and grassing zebras during the night. During daytime we saw most of the animals possible to see, and many of them pretty close to the car.
Our chef during the trip made us fantastic meals.
We have lot of memories and nice pictures from this trip!

All expectations exceeded!!!
5/5

I booked two tours, one 8 days and one 7 days to maximise the time spent in the Serengeti and the area around (like Ngorongoro mainly).
The first tour was with Protus and his chef Fenna. Well what can I say? Both just did an amazing job!! Protus is a perfect tour guide, absolutely knowledgable about flora and fauna with 14 years of experience as a safari guide. A calm gentleman who is always focussed on making sure that his guests have a nice safari trip.
We saw all big five (even a rhino!), many many lions and even a leopard relaxing on the tree. And Protus even managed to show us thousands of migrating zebras and wildebeests which was a very special event!
Fenna was an amazing chef, all his meals were excellent, especially if you consider the limited facilities given in a camping site environment.

Tour number 2 was with David as a guide and his chef Jacob. There's not much I can add because tour number 2 was just as amazing as tour number 1! David is a great tour guide who found all the wildlife, he literally smells the animals! We saw many many lions and showed us the wildebeest migration at River Mara which was fantastic! He is always energetic and has lots of humour.
Jacob is a hell of a chef who provided many delicious meals (every meal he cooked). I can absolutely recommend this tour operator to anyone considering to go on a safari tour. The only reason why I chose them before was the overwhelmingly positive feedback (considering the fact that safari tours are rather expensive my number one priority was to invest the money in a conpany I could trust) and now I know that it is absolutely justified!
Thank you so much for the great tours, I would always do it again!!

PS: There is only one negative aspect which does not change the fact how much I enjoyed the tour - and how much you are probably going to enjoy the tour, but it is important to me. You will be expected (you have to) to give a tip of $10 a day to the guide. DO NOT get me wrong the guides absolutely deserved it and it was a pleasure to tip them for their great services. My concern is that the guides depend on the tips to make a living, they get barely paid by their companies. So here comes the issue: Since you have to give a $10 tip per day you will probably not give much more, so basically you give them their salary but they are not going to get much tip money (in the most cases, the exception proves the rule). This allows the companies to maximise their profits - at the expenses of the guide (and chefs of course because they get less tips!!) and they can make the tours appear to look cheaper (since you pay $10 per day more in cash).
But this probably doesn't just apply to this tour operator but safari tour operators in general.

Marvelous experience pair with an excellent service
5/5

The service was really excellent and very professional. Fron the moment my sister and I arrived at the airport and dropped us off at our hotel, Daniel and Emmanuel already made us feel welcomed. These guys were really friendly and very accommodating. The guide that they hired, his name is Rocky btw, also has a very pleasing and friendly personality. Rocky was very professional and knowledgeable and it made our trip enjoyable. I celebrated my 30th bday and boy it was funny as hell since we (all the guys in the tour) had to help pushing the vehicle out of the mud. To top it off, the chef we had with us surprised me with a birthday cake while Rocky and the other guides present at the lodge sang and it was honestly very nice. I appreciated it alot especially the effort that they made to make it happen. We went back to Arusha after 3 days and Daniel was there to personally meet us. On top of that, we planned to drink for my bday but surprisingly.. Daniel made some arrangements that included the evening drinks in the package. Truly ine of a kind experience. Daniel and the entire crew went beyond any person would expect. Kudos to the entire team especially Daniel, Emmanuel, Rocky, and our Chef (whom we dont know the name) hahaha

Unforgettable Optimistic Safari
5/5

The staff is very helpful from the first moment when they pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel, it's all included. Daniel, the two Emanuel make you feel welcome from the first moment. The days are organized very well and with Pole-Pole mindset we did everything. We saw all the animals included on the safari, maybe we missed the Leopard but we saw two times Cheetahs. It was very nice and comfortable to sleep in a tent in the middle of Serengeti Park and at the top of Ngorongoro hills. The bathrooms were really acceptables to be in the middle of nowhere, hot water a few times.
John was always ready to not let us starve, so he cooked for us all the time during the Safari: morning, lunch and evening with super tasty and traditional dishes.
The guides in the Safari: John and Thomas made us feel very comfortable and welcome, they taught us a lot of new things and Kiswahili language too. Thomas was very friendly, has a great knowledge of life. A beautiful person to spend time with, forwarding is very nice and a Great Safari Explorer. Finally Andrew is a good mentor.
This experience was fantastic and will remain in our hearts forever. Maisha marefu.

An Attentive, Customer friendly and Excellent service
5/5

The owner of the company really did his best to offer a professional service. The guide, he hired, gave us clear and useful information about the flora and fauna and animals of the national parks. It was a very attentive service beause the engine was stopped while taking photos and was a superb experience to stay quite in nature. These things made a quality difference!
(The company I had before did not pay attention to this at all. We were rushed through the national park..., the ). (it is really annoying when the drivers keep moving the car, or never ask for whether you are ready, and finishe taking photos).
The accommodation was also great, up to the standard. Even when I asked for a better deal for an extra day in a national park I was offered a good deal since it was a low season. I did appreciate this customer friendly attitude. The food was fine, water was provided abundantly.
I felt that this service matched the quality of the West. I warmly recommmend this budget safari to everyone.
