Memorable moments at a fair budget
5/5

My safari adventures started in Tanzania. It was nice to see how Martha and John went out of their way to accommodate our requests and needs; especially because we were limited of time, and I was a quite demanding guest. Very attentive to my messages and the planning.
They subcontract Seven Wonders for the safaris in Tanzania; and as an overall experience, I second Jitka's review and sentiment.
Tanzania: safari jeeps (more suitable for the bumpy roads); no glamping here, you will tough it out camping in camp tents and sleeping bags (just make sure they're clean and not smelly); there are cold nights, so, if visiting during dry season, wear in layers. We visited Serengeti and Ngoro-Ngoro Crater. Loved the crater! Saw 4 of the big 5!
Kenya: Better lunches and accommodation than in Tanzania. Maasai Mara was phenomenal! Our tour guide outdid himself in giving us the Big 5! I would recommend Go East Africa Safari aka/Big Time Safari. Great experience for the Budget-conscious traveler!

4 days Masaï Mara Lac Nakuru
5/5

An excellent agency that listens and serves their clients. I had a great experience starting with Marta who took the time to explain everything, to me to build confidence and also to help me with all the steps in Nairobi. Then James the driver is excellent, he has great experience as a safari pilot and his driving was great and not dangerous. From the first game we saw 3 of the 5 big fives and several other animals. It was wonderful. The second full day we saw all the animals. At the housing level the camp was clean and comfortable. Lake Nakuru was great we saw all the animals except the flamingos unfortunately. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. I recommend 200% the agency level quality / price it was perfect

highly recommended budget safari
5/5

Giving that they dont have many references, I was a little bit afraid of booking with Go East Africa. But there is no need for that!
1 - I exchanged so many emails with Martha prior booking. She is very sweet and helpful lady who took care of us very well.
2 - they gave us very fair price
3 - they provide good services

We decided to combine several safaris in one bundle:

1. Safari in Kenya
- Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Crescent Island and Hells Gate
- traveled by safari van. In Maasai Mara, we slept in huge tents with beds and own bathroom. The rest, we spent in B&B
- food is OK, we always got some buffet where you could choose both, veg and nonveg. The picnic lunch includes some chicken, bread, egg, sweet drink, fruit, etc
- our driver/guide was very ambitious and always tried to steal the best viewing spot for us. We got to see the big five.

2. Safari in Tanzania
- we started in Arusha, proceeded to Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro
- traveled by jeeps for 8 ppl, these are even more comfortable then safari vans in Kenya
- we slept in tents - the classical tents for camping but do not worry, it is actually very comfortable and convenient. You get a mattress and sleeping bag. There is a shared bathroom with hot water. There is also a public pool in the garden
- the food was delicious. We had our own chef who was cooking for us the whole time. We always got many dishes to choose from.

Overall, very good experience and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AGENCY

Proffesional, friendlyand service orientated
4/5

Excellent tour guide/driver knowledgeable and with a keen eye to find rare game. Accommodation were great.
My safari took place during off-season so there were some late change of plans iot coordinate other guests. That meant a lot more time spent commuting in the car. Other than that I would give it 5 out of 5.

Great experience
4/5

Booking the trip was easy and I chose this company based on the high reviews for the price. They were very helpful in meeting my requests and picking me up at the airport from a 2am flight. I got another company for my tour and did not expect a change although this seems like common practice. Had I know this I would have liked to research the other company as I would not have chosen them if given a choice. They were adequate, but the truck used was a little run down and although the driver was knowledgeable and friendly I had a sense that he’s done this plenty of times, so rushed us during some of the stops forgetting how magical the experience of seeing a baby elephant is or your first giraffe. All meals are prepared for you and unlike some other tours we did not have to help prepare or clean. I was disappointed with communication here as I was not asked ahead of time about dietary restrictions, so could not eat the first meal. After that our cook did a great job meeting my restrictions. We did have to set up camp, but not break it down, which was great. It seems like the same experience regardless of what level you book at, so group size seems like the most important factor to look at. The trip itself was amazing Tanzania is an amazing place. I also went to Uganda and Kenya and this leg was my favorite. The Serengeti will not disappoint.
