Unforgettable Safari Experience
5/5

We spent 9 nights in Tanzania, and Iris&Jordan arranaged an amazing tour for us, our tour guider Philimon was very experienced and very friendly, he always know where to find animals, and whether we should stay or leave. I highly recommend Tanzania Serengeti Adventure to anyone, and I will take another tour with them when I visit Tanzania again!

Unforgettable experience
5/5

We booked a 3 day safari tour with seregenti adventures in February 2016 and it was an amazing experience. Our guide 'James' was always on time, very professional and very nice at the same time. We were very lucky to see so many animals in a short amount of time. While doing the game drive, James was doing his best to show us all the animals both in Serengeti and in Ngorongoro. And because James has been doing Safari tours for more than 15 years, he could tell where the animals would be.
Examples of things we saw: Lions hunting buffalos, Giraffes, Zebras, Elephants, Leopards, Rinos, wildebeest migration, and many more. The only animal we weren't lucky enough to see was the Cheetah.
The accommodation we stayed at was very good. We spent the 1st night in a tented camp and it was such an amazing experience. Upon arrival to the camp we found 5 Lioness resting on a tree, meters from the camp. But the tents are safe with double zips closing from the inside and you only leave your tent when escorted by the guide or the staff working in the camp. The second accommodation was in Ngongoro and it was also very nice. From the balcony we could see buffalos eating only 1 or 2 meters away from us.
All in all, it was a very good experience.

Surpassed my expectations
5/5

Thank you Iris and Jordan for a wonderful, custom safari that exceeded my expectations. We did the kilimanjaro climb and a wildlife safari for 5 days after the climb. The quality of the guides was fantastic on both segments of the trip. Our guides John and Frank got us to the top of Kili! And they were so incredibly nice and positive about our ability to get there. (it was HARD). Phil was are safari guide and he was so great at taking us to some of his favorite sites in the Crater and Serengeti conservation areas. The best thing we decided was to let him lead the way instead of giving a structured itinerary. This gave Phil the flexibility to show us areas that had few safari vehicles for a private, custom experience. We were happy with all accomodation and appreciate the work that went into setting up this wonderful adventure.

fantastic experience!
5/5

it was our first Safari experience and we are so happy we have selected the right partner! thanks to the team around Iris and Jordan the planning was super smooth and a million thanks to James, who has taken care of us along the trip, shared his knowledge, his stories and most importantly always was there where it all happened!! I cant event count the number of animals we have seen. .. around 40 lions, cheetahs and yeesss leopards and hippos. Basically 4 out of the big 5 :) ... we just missed the Rhino because we decided not to go to Ngorongoro crater. James has it all what it needs to be your perfect guide: knowledge, a great network with all locals, a unique sense of where it all happens and most importantly: a great sense of humour. Thanks to James we had a stunning Safari experience. I miss even the pumpy off-road-experience :) and still a lot of pictures are coming up... a sky full of stars (a childhood memory), wowowow sunrises and sunsets and and and. We'll be back !!! Thanks a million to the team of TSA!

100% Satisfaction!!!
5/5

Besides encountering wildlife, which is the first picture that comes up to your mind when you think of a Safari, a game drive, etc. You have to be surrunded by the best Safari team. That is, Iris, Nikita, Rosie and best driver ever, dear James.
I felt absolutely taken care of by these people at totally different times and situations.
Iris is the manager and she was very dedicated to her business, in the matters of customer satisfaction, right from the beggining, we could comunicate and she understood and fulfil every single request of mine.
Nikita was ever kind and service at her best, she was available any time of the day and totally took care of me while in Arusha Town.
I have to say I have built an excellent relationship with driver James, not only because he is very passionate with his job, and truly a hard working man. He was always ready to fulfil all my safari adventure desires. I do miss James. He is not the driver you find on every trip. He made sure I could get my "Big Fives" list completed. Amazing!!!
If you make it to the lovely Coffee farm, you will encounter Rosie, best cook and friendly person, striving to learn spanish at every moment.
Besides Lodges and specially tented camps, which were absolutely amazing to experience and stay at, I totally can say that if this team was not there, you could not have the best experience out of a Safari.
It has been a lifetime experience and I do not regret a little bit of it. Wonderful, Just wonderful!
Thank you guys!!!

Hakuna Matata at Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Zanzibar
5/5

Tanzania Serengeti Adventure set us up for success and set expectations beginning with a briefing 1-2 weeks before the trip to discuss the tour itinerary day by day, logistics, and to help answer any questions we had. Email communications and responses from the company were prompt and helpful. Every tour guide we met on Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro/Serengeti, and Zanzibar were helpful, caring, and made sure we were taken care of and felt safe. This includes post-trip communications to make sure everything went well with our trip and if we felt unsatisfied with any part of it, they looked into it immediately.

My favorite part of the trip was making friends with our porters during the Kilimanjaro trek and getting to interact with them and learn about the Tanzanian culture as they were all locals. Best of all, Tanzania Serengeti Adventure is a local-ran tour company who helps employ local Tanzanians.

TSA Safari is highly recommended!
5/5

I had an amazing time on my safari with TSA. We spent 1 night in Ngorongoro Crater at the Rhino Lodge, and 2 nights in tented camps at Seronera Camp in Serengeti. Both safari locations were amazing and the environment was so different. The crater walls make for a unique home for all the inhabitants, and the Serengeti plains are vast and never ending. Our guide Philemon was very knowledgeable and he knew where to find all the animals at every juncture. He also worked extra hard to make sure we got to see what we wanted (which included the Great Migration a couple hours north of where we were). The tour also comes with binoculars too! Amazing. You never missed any action and got a detailed account of what was going on. My favorite part about the safari is the sheer number of entire prides of lions we saw at Serengeti (over 60 lions in 3 days). It's really something unforgettable when you get to witness a lion feast, attempted lion kills, and piles of lions napping under a tree. We also got to witness the Mara River crossing of the Great Migration near the Kenyan border, and that event was straight out of the Lion King and a National Geographic documentary. We saw a couple of Croc-Wildebeest battles that were so surreal.

The accommodations are very unique. The Rhino Lodge has an eco-friendly feel with specific electricity hours. The room can get cold, but you can light your fireplace, and the blankets are extra thick and warm, so it wasn't really a problem. The restaurant at the Lodge was gorgeous! There were warm fireplaces, floor to ceiling windows, candles, and more importantly, a delicious food buffet! The service was impeccable, and we were always taken care of. Our Seronera camp has large mosquito net King sized beds with a flushing toilet bathroom. It looked like a honeymoon palace. The staff here are very entertaining, funny, and nice. They sang John Legend after dinner! Here, they manually add boiling water for your hot showers, and water is added to flush the toilet. The amount of work they do is much appreciated and you get the hospitality. The homemade steak and soups here were phenomenal and I really enjoyed our dinners at the camp. It was fun to hear all the animals at night and to be directly in the wilderness.

I didn't want the safari to end. I only would have liked to see a black rhino, and to maybe stay at some game drive spots a little longer to observe everyday behavior. There's just so many things to see and sometimes you have to move on for the sake of the rest of your group's wants/needs. Don't forget to use the restroom before you go, because you might be waiting hours for your next break!

The safari vehicle is a huge 4x4 with plastic windows, and a roof that can lift so you can stand in the vehicle. This is different from my last safari in South Africa where the plastic windows rolled up and it was "more risky." I didn't mind so much since the lions were so close any way! We all got amazing photos, and I didn't even need a DSLR because the animals were close enough for my iPhone. The boxed lunches were mostly ordinary sandwiches and fruit, but my favorite was the soba noodles we got on one of the days!

Thank you, Tanzania Seregenti Adventures for an unforgettable safari!

Excellent Value
5/5

We chose Tanzania Serengeti Adventures after scouring the internet for an affordable, but comprehensive safari. That is exactly what we got with TSA. We loved the experience from start to finish! Jordan and Iris were very helpful before the trip. Philomen was an excellent guide - we saw almost the entire big 5 in our first day. He was very friendly and knowledgable about the animals (due to his 20+ years of experience).

We also loved the Tanzania Ric Lodge. The rooms were more comfortable than I expected. Rosie, the cook/manager, was extremely hospitable. The food and service was excellent. Rosie took care that all of my dietary needs (vegetarian) were met. I also loved that the Lodge was on a coffee farm and I was able to take a tour of the farm during down time.

I would definitely recommend TSA.
