This safari was good value for money and was basically what we were looking for
4/5

Our guide, Evans, was very reliable and helpful. He was a cheerful guy who was professional and flexible when it came to minor changes to some arrangements. He was our guide as well as our driver and he was knowledgable about the wildlife but not expert. I would recommend him to others.

Good Experience
4/5

They offered good value and were great with responding back to emails. They answered all my questions promptly as well. The tour driver was nice and easy to communicate with. We stayed a kibo safari camp ambioselli. Camp was perfect, hot water, clean and as described. Only con is that the execution of all our requests wasnt perfect. I had asked for vegan and vegetarian meals. I had to ask for it again at every meal, both on the van and at the camp. The driver kindly purchased fruits for us but on the way back, the picnic lunch was awful, a small white bread sandwich with cucumber and tomato, cold fried potatoes, dry cake, 1 small apple and half a cup of coleslaw. Also, opt for their better vehicles at the higher price, the van doesnt drive as smoothly as the land cruisers. Game drives were good. Overall, I will use their services again, but I will make sure to communicate exactly what foods I want ahead of time.

Excellent start, medium finish
4/5

We started our safari at excellent pace; there were elephants, antelope, giraffe, cheetah, lions, baboons, zebra, buffalo, guinea fowl and many more, just within the first two hour tour! The second and third day were just as interesting, and we also saw a leopard up a tree. Our fourth day at Lake Nakuru was cut short at 11am, and although we got to see some white rhino in the morning, we were stuck in a pretty poor hotel all day, with nothing to do.

The accommodation and food were excellent, apart from the last accommodation at Lake Naivasha. Our towels weren't clean, bathroom door didn't close, mattress sank and our door locks were the same as our neighbours. They should seriously reconsider this accommodation, as it greatly affected the experience. There are plenty of wildlife at Nakuru and we'd much rather have stayed longer to see more of it.

The Masai village tour is interesting, but the men in the village are clearly bored of entertaining tourists every single morning.

James, our guide was very energetic for most of the journey and a very friendly guy. He was very knowledgeable and managed to find plenty of animals for us to see on our journey. We saw the 'Big 5', plus many more. He's an excellent driver and we always felt safe in his care.

Overall, we would definitely recommend this tour. It is very good value for money, but I would probably choose a four-day, rather than a five-day tour, next time.

an unforgettable experience
4/5

everything was nice. Our guide James tried to show us all the animals and we saw them all. The tent we stayed in was comfortable. Only the second day water problem, dirty flowed from the tap. They gave the necessary attention and tried to find a solution. lunch and dinner were delicious, maybe they could diversify breakfast. We thank you for everything.

Spectacular with a Side of Vexation
4/5

The main day of our safari, we were very blessed and got to see almost every major species of animal possible in Maasai Mara. That being said, the drive was quite frustrating at times. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable but also restless. Every time he decided to stop so that we could take pictures, he would suddenly shift gears and floor it or move us back and forth unnecessarily and without warning. Some people got hurt, and a few of us have really blurry pictures of the sky and apparatus of the open roof as it hit us in the face or chest from the whiplash. James was a great driver other than the twitchiness, however. He never got us stuck in the mud like we witnessed other drivers do and really did do his best to help us see the animals as clearly and closely as possible while keeping us safe. Other main annoyances like the terrible roads weren't his fault. The only other suggestion I'd have is for him to keep certain comments himself; the picnic would have been a lot more comfortable without them.
The places we stayed in were nice as were the meals. Hm, perhaps the vehicles could be better suited for safaris rather than just regular vans, though. The one were we in was cramped as far as legroom and storage space and barely up to the challenge of the Maasai Mara roads.

Excellent tour featuring great organization, good food, nice group of people, and fantastic guide.
4/5

The tour with Lenchada Safaris was great overall. John, our tour guide was absolutely fantastic, he was very friendly, organized the trip well, and went above and beyond to make sure we get as close to the animals as possible in a safe way. The food and organization were both good. Lenchada Safari made it possible for us to stay at a different camp than originally included in the tour. We booked a three day Safari and were given the option to visit a Masai village without extra charge on the third day. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because we were charged an extra 10 Dollars for pickup from the Airport in Nairobi which was not communicated in advance.

Good safari for a very reasonable price
4/5

We have very much enjoyed safari with Lenchada Safaris and their guide Joseph. The route was Masai Mara - Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha - Hell's Gate, and we've seen a lot of wildlife and beautiful scenery. The conditions were simple (and we aimed for it, because cool suites are out of our budget), but all the needed things (hot shower etc) were in place. The guide was receptive and knowledgeable. These guys provide very good value for mojney ratio. If you're coming for nature and don't need luxury conditions (which you're going to enjoy just during night's sleep anyway), they're your choice.
