Professionalism, efficiency, kindness
5/5

The quality of the photo safari is extraordinary with a guide with little onions for us, speaking French very well, knowing his job very well and many animals to discover in their natural environment.
The quality of the hotels and the catering, the service and the friendliness of the staff was exceptional.
It was a dream trip.
We are thinking of doing it again...

Considering to go on a Safari ? Go to Tanzania, with Tanzania Specialist
5/5

We started to plan a Safari in Tanzania in early 2022 as a party of 6. Very soon we came across Tanzaniaspecialist.de and found their programs very attractive. Communication was very quick and efficient. Tanzaniaspecialist provided us a tailor-made solution, starting the Safari in Arusha, to end after 6 days in Serengeti. There we boarded a Cessna Caravan to fly directly to Zanzibar, where we spent a few more days.
All the organization was perfect. All pickups were in time, arranged by kind and knowledgeable staff.
Accomodation was always very nice. We really loved the tented camps that give that special feeling to be within nature. The food in all lodges, whether it was breakfast, dinner or the lunchboxes was always really tasty, with good choices for all palates.
Our Safari guide Chizo was a true gem. Not only is he a really professional driver, but very entertaining, with excellent knowledge on the geography, history and of course especially the wildlife in the National Parks. What we could see in regards to the wildlife was amazing, and was more than we ever had expected.
In summary we can say that the trip we booked was excellent value for money, and that it more than fulfilled our (quite high) expectations.

it was an amazing trip, the guide was excellent, the camps were really good, especially the upgrade to the Sound of Silence camp was a very good suggestion from Tansania Specialist !
The bushflight from Serengeti directly to Zanzibar was perfect. Also the Hotel Z was a very good choice.
The value for money was really good and Mrs. Julia Trento always answered all questions promptly.
We were 6 persons and we all were excited about the whole trip!

Amazing trip!

A big thank you for this incredible safari in Tanzania and Zanzibar. Rajai was a wonderful English-speaking safari guide who allowed us to meet many animals, answer our questions about animals and nature as well as about Tanzanian culture. The hotels were magnificent and the organisation was finely orchestrated with the staff always welcoming.

If it is the first time for someone to travel to Tanzania you do not know what to expect. Tanzania Specialist helps you fully on what you have to pay attention to before the trip. Once you have arrived in the country, a full service is organized as booked. You never have to worry about your own safety.

Perfect Safari
5/5

Everything was just right (with very little restrictions):

- Good advice and organization before the trip.

- Very courteous guide and driver (thank you Baraka!)

- Diverse and beautiful places visited with lots of animals (Trangire / Ngorongoro crater)

- Very good accommodations, all with intact infrastructure (always warm water with enough pressure) and good food (well, the packed lunches should be a bit more varied).

We didn't like the additional bookable activities that much. For example the “banana tour”. The activities are overpriced and the aim is always to buy goods in the studios (i.e. shops) visited during the tour. The offer ranges from pictures and wood carvings to banana beer and coffee.

One more side note: After seeing so many wonderful animals, we were shocked by the fact that Tanzania Specialist apparently also offers guided shooting of the animals under the term Hunting Safari. We cannot understand that.

Despite these restrictions, we can absolutely recommend Tanzania Specialist.

ALL for amazing safari days
5/5

This trip booked in January 2020 (family of 10) took place during the upsurge of the 2nd wave of the Covid19 pandemic. Faced with the uncertainties about the possibility of traveling, Tanzania Specialists (Zoé) has always listened and reacted to possibly find solutions plan B, plan C ...
We traveled with Qatar Airways to Kilimanjaro Airport. No special formality was requested by the company, nor by the Tanzanian authorities. We had nevertheless taken a test 72 hours before departure to reassure us and assure our guides and hotel contacts of our good health.
Given the uncertainties, we had not requested the electronic visa and established it on our arrival (relatively quick 1 hour).
At the exit our guides were waiting for us with 2 4X4 (recall for 10 people). These are vehicles that can accommodate 7 people comfortably.
On arrival we went directly to Ngare sero lodge to rest from the trip. This hotel is an eco lodge with a lot of possible activities and an exceptional setting. The catering is of excellent quality with a lot of attention from everyone. We had brought in our luggage a lot of equipment for an orphanage in which the hotel is a partner. An employee of the hotel concocted a walk for us including a visit to the orphanage (a great instructive moment for all and in particular our grandchildren).
The next day visit Tarangire Park and Lake Manyara, this park allows a smooth entry into safaris (no wild animals) and was a very popular day. Evening at Kilimamoja Lodge near Lake Manyara is an upscale hotel with excellent hotel and restaurant services.
The 3rd day visit of the Ngorongoro crater, this safari is the best because of the number of animals encountered and the breathtaking landscapes.
The evening at the Oldeani Mountain Lodge is roughly equivalent to the hotel of the previous day (same owner): upscale. Before leaving for the airport for Zanzibar, the waiters had set up a table for lunch in the garden: exceptional.
In all hotels, health security is perfect.
Everywhere we were "pampered" because there were hardly any tourists.
On the service of Tanzania Specialist, the quality is top of the range.
Before sales, Zoé is available, responsive and provides good advice.
During the safari, our guides Ludovic and Juma speak perfect French, are helpful, emphatic, available, flexible and very knowledgeable.
In conclusion, I can only recommend Tanzania Specialists and have no hesitation in leaving for safety even in these difficult times of the pandemic.
