Well organized tour arranged with excellent communication and delivered as expected.
I went on the "Seven Days Uganda Gorillas, Wildlife and Chimps Safari" in February. The itinerary was great, and it made full use of every day.
I was met at my Hotel in Entebbe by my driver/guide Osman and we immediately set off on our journey. As we drove I was given a thorough history lesson of the area and continual informative info. The vehicle was comfortable, and the places we spent the nights were very nice.
The touring was well planned, and the entrance into the Chimpanzee and Gorilla treks was taken care of flawlessly. Osman went above and beyond on the game drives, and his knowledge and communication with other guides allowed some awesome encounters that made the trip memorable. His decision to head into Queen Elizabeth NP in the late afternoon even though it wasn't scheduled let to an unbelievable up close encounter with a leopard. It was an experience of a lifetime. This was an excellent tour and even though it was more expensive than my normal budget, it was indeed still great value for the price.

Flawless; everything they promised was delivered.
I have been on a 7-day tour with the main highlights being the chimpanzee and gorilla tracking.
Communication with the agency was easy and I always received very quick answers to all of my questions.
Being around the country was also easy as I had a really good tour guide/driver, who provided me with lots of information on Uganda and took me everywhere - even covering long stretches on uneven roads - with a friendly smile.
All in all I was very happy with the trip - the way it was organized and the way it played out - and I would for sure recommend Buyaga Safaris as my holiday just went by smoothless.

A unforgettable experience!
The tour showcased the beauty of western and southern Uganda. And what can I say... Uganda is absolutely stunning! A fantastic blend of nature, African wildlife, relaxation, adventure, and enjoyment. The tour with Buyaga Safaris was superbly organized. The accommodations were wonderful and unique: overnight stays in tents, in lodges with outdoor showers, and even a private cottage. My guide, Simpson, did a fantastic job. He drove the vehicle expertly, I always felt safe, and his communication was transparent. I would book another tour with him through Buyaga Safaris without hesitation. I highly recommend this tour outside of the peak and rainy seasons. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience.

Amazing Experience in Uganda with Buyaga Safari
I would like to sincerely thank the Buyaga Safari team for the 5-day tour I did with them.
The service from the very beginning was spectacular. They answered all my questions, and Erick, my guide, was amazing.
I felt safe, comfortable, and accompanied throughout the experience, and I was very happy to be welcomed by such a wonderful team.
The tour was incredible. I chose the “5 Days Gorilla and Chimpanzee Trekking” tour, and it was an excellent choice. The timing was perfect, and every detail of the tour was well coordinated by the Buyaga team.
When I was worried about the Ebola situation in the country, they guided me and helped answer my questions. I want to emphasize that I had absolutely no issues entering the country; I only had to complete an entry form.

Superbly organized, safe, flexible and personal!
My father (64) and I (27) from Germany booked the 9-day safari, and it was absolutely amazing. We saw the Big Five and felt like we had more luck than any of the other groups. Our guide, Ossmann, was super laid-back, friendly, and funny, and he really made an effort to organize things in a way that allowed for spontaneity. Everything was perfectly organized, the food was consistently delicious, and the hotels were excellent choices given the locations. It included everything you’d imagine in a safari experience, and we would highly recommend this tour.

I hate to do this and am traveling all over the world and this is our third Safari in Africa so I know what a company should be . I had few companies I could take but Peter was fast before and planned all ,very communicative and I believed he will give us all he promised but .. that was not the case .. I know he will reply now with all kind of stories but believe me as I also use reviews . He promised us a good car this was my condition of taking him as I know the car is very important, he gave us a 2002 jeep ! We are in 20026 and I saw many cars of companies on the way no one had this old car. No air conditioning … The only good thing is the guide that I asked for ,he did not even offered him it was Simpson that I read good reviews this what saved us ! The best man ! Kind helped us in all. Peter never contacted us in the 12 days of our trip , I had to contact him once his answer was not so kind .. But the last day on the way to the air port the car broke down on the way… we were on the road had to drive 6 hours more with no hope ! This was a very very old car! We understood that we will miss the flight so I called Peter , he hanged the phone ion me ! Never even contacted me till today to apologize even ! We were lucky another nice safari driver with nice big car stopped with tourists inside , they agreed to take us we drove with them 6 more hours , their car was nice comfortable! We were just lucky we barely made our flight ! So if you will have a issue on your trip think twice if you want this kind of person ? The tour he organized was fine our guide that I asked for was amazing but I asked for him his name is Simpson .

Such an amazing and memorable trip with a fantastic guide
Buyaga Safaris provided us a wonderful itinerary where we had so many incredible experiences from seeing chimpanzees in the wild, seeing so many elephants and other wildlife on a safari, to obviously the gorilla trekking itself. Our guide Brighton was fantastic, knowledgeable and kind, facilitating so many beautiful moments including romantic accommodations at our hotels (as we were celebrating a recent engagement but didn’t even make any requests in advance, so this was impressive). Being treated to beverages while overlooking the twin crater lakes was so fun, and getting to try local cuisine based off his recommendations was fantastic. His seamless organizing of the day’s events with local guides was very helpful and appreciated too. After this trip, I have such a newfound love and appreciation for Uganda, and I would highly recommend Brighton and his company to anyone that seeks once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Amazing roundtrip in Uganda
I had an excellent round trip experience in Uganda. Everything was delivered exactly as agreed in the itinerary contract, and the whole journey was smooth and well‑organized. The lodges were comfortable, clean, and welcoming, with delicious food throughout the trip. The staff everywhere were kind and attentive.
Above all, our guide Simpson made the journey exceptional. He was reliable, knowledgeable, and truly trustworthy — the kind of guide who turns a good trip into a great one. The owner of the company, Peter, was also outstanding, replying to every question immediately and ensuring that all arrangements were clear and stress‑free.
