Excellent Safari with Buyaga Safaris
I had a wonderful time on my safari with Buyaga Safaris. Working with Peter before I left on my trip he always responded immediately to my questions and gave me thoughtful answers and reccomendations. My flight was delayed a day but we kept in contact and he was there to meet me at the airport.
My guide for my 11 day trip was Osmond. He was superb. Besides being very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the country, he made sure that I was having the best vacation/safari possible. He did this by making sure the vehicle was in the best position to get the best photos, knowing where best to go to spot the animals, and being flexible if I ever wanted to change anything. A pet peeve of mine with my last safari was my guide always wanting to leave the lodge at around 8AM. Not so with Osmond. I mentioned this to him and every single day we left the lodge when it was still dark out and we would catch the sunrise and the early morning wildlife. I also felt extremely safe with Osmond the whole trip. Highly reccomend him as your guide and Buyaga Safari for your tour.

Very honest and responsible
I did a 6 days safari including chimps and gorillas. Everything that was promised, was delivered. My guide Apton is a very responsible driver and provided a good experience. Peter was fast to reply to all my messages. The hotels varied a lot in standard, but overall, they were really nice.

Amazing 12 days in Uganda with guide Simpson
To start of, Uganda is probably the most diverse countries of all we have visited. Every place is like from different planet so there is no place for boredom. Our trip was organised well, we wouldn’t change anything (maybe we would add some morę days). Most of the lodges were insane, I mean - we probably wouldn’t choose that good by ourselves. Considering the price of the package - I would consider it very good in terms of value for money. Our guide Simpson was carying, engaged and he knew other guides so knew where to go on safaris. As for the trip rate - let photos speak for themsleves.

My safari trip
Me and my friend recently completed our trip to Uganda and our safari trip with Buyaga.
Our trip was a 5 day excursion where did the gorilla and chimpanzee trekking along with a short safari drive in QE2 and a boat ride in the Kazinga channel.
For the most part our trip with Buyaga was great and we are so pleased we went with them. Peter was always very quick at replying to emails from the minute we enquired to when we went on the trip. We even changed a guest half way through but even that wasn't a problem. Our driver for the 5 days was Simpson who was brilliant with us. Not only did he ferry us around on the long days of driving with a smile at all times but me and my friend had a good time just chatting with him at dinner each night and getting to know him, and him us. We can't fault Simpson throughout and he is one of the main reasons we'd recommend Buyaga.
Our only faults we found was 2/3 of our hotels changing without being told. We were always put in nice accommodation but the first one we was looking forward to having a lake view.
The only other complaint we'd have is missing out on the tree climbing lions in Ishasha. This was due to unsafe roads we were told which we can appreciate is out of their control but would of been nice to have replaced it with another game drive in QE2 instead or something as then the 3rd day became just a travel day like the 1st and 2nd.
On the whole we were very pleased with Buyaga, Peter and of course Simpson. We were also blown away by how lovely a country Uganda was. Green everywhere and we always seemed to meet friendly people.
The chimp and gorilla trekking was of course the highlight and we can't recommend it enough. If this on your to do list and you're looking for a tour guide, we would recommend Buyaga for you to look at.
Thanks again,
Ashley and Johnny

Fantastic experience for our honeymoon
We want to thank Buyaga Safaris and our guide Ossman for such an amazing experience in Uganda.
We loved watching the animals and being so close to them. The gorilla trekking, chimpanzee trekking, game drive and boat safari was fantastic!
The lodges we stayed at were luxury with the best of service, food and locations.
We appreciated the extra attention regarding our honeymoon. Thank you!
And an extra thanks to Ossman that kept us safe on the road and being such an informative and nice guide.
We have learned to much about Uganda. We loved it!
We had such a good time!
We HIGHLY recommend this tour company!

Amazing!
I really liked the itinerary drawn up by Buyaga for my Ugandan safari. We covered almost all of Uganda’s major parks across the different ecosystems. The wildlife encounters were truly once in a lifetime experience. My guide Eric was very good, and flexible enough to handle changes as and when needed. He helped make the whole 10 days a smooth experience end to end.

Fantastic Uganda experience with Buyaga
My daughter and I visited Uganda on a 12 day Buyaga Safari experience with Gorilla trekking.
The entire trip was 5 star from our guide (Anderson) to the accommodation and activities.
The lodges we stayed at were all clean with friendly staff and extreme care to detail with dietry requirements and comfort for us.
From the Safari drives, Rhino sanctuary, river cruises, Chimp & Gorilla Treks each activity was well planned and did not disappoint with wildlife sightings, the rangers, volunteers and local community representatives at each place were passionate and knowledgeable.
Something that we particularly enjoyed was the flexibility to adjust our itinerary where needed to our preferences with the help of Peter and of course Anderson our guide and driver.
The vehicle we travelled in was very comfortable and clean , our guide Anderson is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and organised, and he catered to all of our requests.
It was emotional to farewell him at the end. all in all an unforgettable trip.
We highly recommend to travel with Buyaga, and would definitely return and travel with them again

Great trip
Peter organized a great tour although I booked it in the last moment. He was always available to answer my questions. Everyrhing was good - safari drives, accommodation, food, etc. Gorilla tracking was highlight of the trip.

Extremely professional!
A truly top-notch experience!
Peter, the owner, was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional. He helped us with all the preparations, always answering all our questions promptly and courteously. Our driver, Osman, is truly professional, kind, and very polite. He was always extremely punctual for all our transfers, always driving safely. He also has a truly trained eye for spotting animals during the safari!
I also want to publicly thank Buyaga Safaris for helping us with an unpleasant situation: one of our two bags checked in with Turkish Airlines didn't arrive at its destination, but arrived the next day at Entebbe Airport (same time, very early in the morning). We were already at Queen Elizabeth National Park (about a 7-8 hour drive from Entebbe), and Peter personally went to collect the bag and handed it over to another driver from another group, who delivered it directly to us that same evening at our lodge at Queen Elizabeth. Thank you again, thank you, thank you!! 🙏🏻
Truly incredible value for money. I recommend this agency 100%.
P.S.: In Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ardvaark Safari Lodge is heavenly!
