Amazing Kenyan Safari
We had an amazing time on safari in Kenya with Savannah Hippo Safaris.
Stanley had been recommended to us by some friends and did not disappoint! With only a couple of weeks notice, he organised 4 fantastic days for us including time at Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha. We were blown away by the amount of different animals we saw. Stanley and our driver, Mike, were professional, friendly and very knowledgeable.
We would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

We had an absolutely unforgettable trip to Kenya from start to finish. The whole experience was incredibly well organised, and every day was filled with amazing wildlife sightings and breathtaking scenery that exceeded our expectations.
A huge thank you to our guide, Stanley, whose knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for Kenya's wildlife made every game drive so interesting. He was brilliant at spotting animals, answering our endless questions and ensuring we had the best possible experience throughout the trip. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and Stanley was able to arrange anything we wanted throughout our stay, making the whole experience completely stress-free and tailored to us.
We'd also like to thank our driver, Mike, who was fantastic. He was professional, friendly and made us feel safe and comfortable at all times, even on the rougher roads. His skill and calm manner allowed us to relax and fully enjoy the journey.
A special mention also has to go to Elatia Camp in the Masai Mara. Stanley recommended we stay there, and we're so grateful he did. It is, without question, the best place we've ever stayed. The location is breathtaking, the accommodation is beautiful, the food was exceptional, and every member of staff made us feel so welcome. Falling asleep to the sounds of the African bush and waking up in the heart of the Mara was an experience we'll never forget. If you're planning a safari, trust Stanley's recommendation – you won't regret it.
Together, Stanley and Mike made an excellent team and truly helped make our holiday so special. We would highly recommend Stanley to anyone considering a safari in Kenya. His knowledge, organisation and ability to arrange absolutely anything you could want make him the perfect guide. We can't thank Stanley, Mike and everyone at Elatia Camp enough for giving us memories that will last a lifetime. We hope to return one day!

Unforgettable Honeymoon Safari in Kenya & Tanzania
After my original honeymoon was cancelled by a different company, in 24 hours Stanley managed to turn around a new safari that crossed borders into Tanzania, and I am so grateful I still got to experience the magic of Masai Mara and Tanzania.
Stanley was attentive the entire trip, and checked in on us regularly. Our guides (Joseph and Joseph) were amazing, and we saw lions, cheetahs, a leopard, elephants, giraffes, rhinos (including black and white rhinos and babies), wildebeests, literally everything! And their babies! May is baby season in the savanna.
Logistically it could have been cleaner, we did a lot of transitting back to Nairobi when it could’ve been more efficient, but he also planned it in 24/h. My favourite accommodation was in Masai Mara which blew us out of the water, the rest of the hotels were forgettable.
Overall I would highly recommend Stanley! Imagine the kind of trip he could plan with more than 24 hours notice. I am sending him to all my friends. And the majesty of Kenya and Tanzania is unbelievable.

An amazing 5 night safari
An incredible experience with Stanley and our driver Mike. They looked after us (a group of 5 girls) brilliantly and booked everything for us. Great value for money when we were staying in fancy hotels (salt lick and ngutini lodge). Couldn’t recommend it enough and would love to do it all over again. Definitely recommend to everyone!

Absolutely great experience with Savannah Hippo’s. Stanley & Mike were two very respectful men & did not make a group of 5 girls uncomfortable at all on our 6 day trip. Stanley was able to answer all our questions throughout the safari & it was very wholesome to see someone so passionate about their job. He has a 6th sense for animals and can feel them before he sees them! An expert at his job for sure. Highly recommend.

The most incredible Safari
We had the most incredible 5-day safari in Kenya with Stanley as our guide and Mike as our driver, and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. From start to finish everything was so well organised, punctual, and completely stress-free — they made the whole trip feel easy and exciting.
Stanley is not only great fun with an amazing sense of humour, but he’s also extremely well educated, knowledgeable, and experienced. We learned so much throughout the safari, and his passion for what he does really shines through. Mike was equally brilliant — such a skilled driver, calm, professional, and always making sure we were comfortable and looked after.
As a young group of girls travelling together, we felt safe and cared for at all times. They were both incredibly respectful, accommodating, and genuinely went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible. Nothing was ever too much trouble — every question, request, or change of plan was met with kindness and patience.
This was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had and we’re so grateful we chose Stanley and Mike. If you’re considering a safari in Kenya, book with them — it’s worth every minute.

Absolutely exceptional to the last detail
Absolutely fantastic holiday. Stanley was brilliant from the start - so helpful over WhatsApp when booking the holiday, right to the last detail. Happy to help at all times. We had Stanley and another guide (Chipa) the entire time and both were brilliant - so knowledgable, patient and friendly. We had three days on the beach at the end to relax and Stanley took care of all the bookings and transfers for us. Every lodge we stayed in exceeded expectations and were perfect in every way. We highly recommend the walking safaris, bike rides and visiting the gorge in Hell’s Gate 🔥

Amazing Kenyan safari
We have had the most amazing safari with Savannah Hippo Safaris. From the first contact, communication has been excellent ensuring that all our needs and expectations were met and exceeded. Stanley and Chippa are very knowledgable and I have learned so much on this trip. We have seen so many animals but seeing a cheetah feeding with her 5 cubs was so special. The accommodation chosen by Stanley has been exceptional especially Ziwani Safari Camp, Salt Lick and Ngutuni Safari Lodge. I would highly recommend Stanley for your next safari

Amazing safari experience-highly recommend!!!
Our family of 5 from New Zealand booked this trip after several recommendations from friends who had booked with Stanley before. Stanley our guide and Chipa our driver were both super friendly and had alot of experience & knowledge that ensured our safari experience was fantastic. We saw SO many animals up close in all of the game parks we visited, even a lioness with 3 cubs! The accommodation and food was fantastic - our favorite was the Voyager Ziwani tent camp with hippos, monkeys and crocodiles up close and the Voyager Resort which was all inclusive. Absolutely loved our trip & very happy to highly recommend to others.

The most incredible safari experience
Our experience with Savannah Hippo Safari was absolutely amazing. Stanley and Chipa were great, they were so knowledgeable and we learnt so much about the animals and the land.
Stanley was so helpful and everything was so well planned with him!
The places we stayed in were unreal – so nice and the food was fantastic. We had delicious meals for breakfast lunch and dinner every day! Our Safari went above and beyond our expectations and it’s all thanks to Stanley and his team! I definitely recommend them for a safari in Africa, it was truly the holiday of a lifetime!
