Perfect Trip in South Africa
African Travels organized a perfect trip for us (4 people). All locations were selected with care and all hosts had amazing tips and great stories to tell. The lodge in Klaserie was one of the coolest experiences we ever had (with elephants drinking from our pool for which we were very lucky). Furthermore, the contact with African Travels was fast, and they had more than enough cool tips to do during our trip. The application they use with all travel information was also of great help during the trip. We would recommend African Travels to everybody who wants to have an amazing Africa experience.

Just one word is enough: PERFECT
With African Travels we travelled with my husband in December 2022 to Namibia, where we spent about 2 weeks - Private Tour. From the very beginning - the initial contact with Mrs Marijnke - to the flight back home, all the service was absolutely perfect. We travel quite often and love Private Tours, but we have not yet encountered such a high level of service as provided by African Travels. We felt like we were their friends, not their clients. Throughout the preparation of the trip, Mrs. Marijnke was in close contact with us, and shortly before the trip, our Private guide Mr. Saqib, a highly professional and humanly superior person, who was helpful and accommodating, who knew thoroughly the places we wanted to see, was able to advise us on everything and was always accommodating to the highest degree. African Travels organised the perfect South Tanzania Safari
Everything Clicked from day one.
Our friendly and professional guide Tom, gifted with an amazing eagle eye spotting ability helped us find so many animals from up close!
The lodges were great and really gave us the "Out of Africa" feeling.
The stay in Pole Pole at Mafia was the perfect finish.
We really were away from it all for 3 weeks.

Excellent Service, Great Tour and always available
My girlfriend and I booked a 10-day tour through Marieke from African Travels and we had a blast. Marieke helped us plan the trip (even before we paid anything), was very patient with the changes we did and was able to get us better prices. She was always available through WhatsApp and answered ad-hoc questions.
We did a Safari and literally travelled across the country from Joburg to Cape Town. In general, the accommodations (B&Bs) were good, especially the one in Stellenbosch, with a few exceptions. Marieke has stayed at most of them personally, so she knows them well.
My brother had also booked a trip through this agency a few years back and gave great feedback.
I strongly recommend this agency for your SA trip!

Overall excellent tour
It was a largely faultless trip - there were a few minor issues, but nothing major. Largely excellent communication, the roof top tent was really comfy, the sites were great and myself and my friend had a great time.

Unique, custom made travel experience

Their level of service was high, with a personal touch regarding our wishes for this vacation. The safari itself was unforgettable: the right balance between camping and comfortable accomodations, pioneering and relaxing, enjoying many first-timer adventures on the road.
