Excellent tour with a very experienced guide
The tour was a real pleasure. Everything went according to plan. Tabitha in the office was always very responsive and answered all my questions immediately. The tour followed the 7 day itineray for Massai Mara, Lake Nakuro, Lake Naivasha, Hells Gate and Amboseli. Our guide Francis picked us (a group of three children and three adults) up at the airport. Thanks to his experience we saw all the animals we had hoped to see. On one occasion he just left the main road and drove for no appearend reason to a bush a few hundred meters away. When we arrived there we found a two lions lying in the gras. There was no other Jeep there and we had the lions all for ourselves. When asked why he went to this place although you could not see the liones from the main road he just explained to us that the lions are sometimes in that area and he just wanted to check if that was the case. Francis driving skills are excellent. We always felt very safe although the the traffic in Kenya seems much more chaotic as it is in Europe. He is very knowledable and could answer all our questions. We would love to do another tour with him. The accomdations were very good value for money (remember you get what you pay for). The only thing that wasn´t 100 % was the food. unless you absolutely love rice an chicken which we had basically every day. Would we do it again with Papio Africa Holiday and our guide Francis? Absolutely yes

Amazing experience with the best tour guide ever
We did a sux days trip to Masái Mara, Amboseli and Nakuru. We went in good season, as in october there are lots of animals, not too many cars and the weather was perfect. However, we were extremely lucky to have Boni as our driver, because he was always trying to provide the best experience. With him, we show more than 20 lions, 20 rhinos, cheetahs, leopards and everything that can be seen there. We thing he was very important for our overall experience.

For what we paid it was great but could use some transparency
Had an incredible time with our guide Anthony in Kenya. The pre-trip coordination to get us paired up with other tour companies for our Uganda and Tanzania portions of our trip was extremely helpful. Wish there had been more communication around the fact it was 3 different companies and how coordination worked between. Also the hours they would tell us for trips were usually only 1/2 the time it actually took- so a “4 hr” trip would take 8. Transparency with operations and transport would make the trip a lot better. The experience was amazing, Anthony did an incredible job at making sure we got to see as much as we could while we were there! We got to see cheetahs, lions, elephants, buffalo, hipppo and so much more
If you do Uganda definitely fly don’t take the overnight bus.
