Smooth trip to beautiful Kenya
5/5

Me and my wife had a really lovely trip with our excellent driver guide Lawrence (Lawience). We visited Amboseli, Naivasha and the whole of Masai Mara. It was well organised and Lawrence was a very nice person to make the trip very smooth and comfortable for us. Ilias as the point of contact from start to finish was also very good. Overall I would recommend others. Thank you.

Amazing Northern Tanzania safari
5/5

Our trip was arranged by the manager Elias and our outstanding guide was John. Elias was amazing in setting up a ten day safari that fit our travel schedule and desires and in responding to our flight delays, missed connections and lost luggage (none of which were his fault). Once our lost bag finally arrived, he made sure we got it, even though we were well into our safari and nowhere near the airport. The itinerary he suggested, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater were each unbelievable and every day presented us with a new adventures and surprises. The accommodations - a mixture of hotels, lodges, tented lodges, and tented camps - were all quite comfortable (some bordering on luxurious) while at the same time giving us a sense of staying among the animals we came to see.
John, our guide, gave us the perfect combination of looking out for the needs of a couple of 70 year-olds along with the skills and patience that allowed us to see some amazing things. He would start out early, but not too early, in the morning and had the knack of taking us back to the lodge for a nap or a swim when we began "running out of steam." We saw each of the "big five," some on numerous occasions, as well as dozens of other animals and birds. We had the good fortune of seeing multiple lions, giraffes, herds of elephants, the birth of a wildebeest, and a kill by two cheetahs. This was more than just good luck but also the result of John's sense of when to stop, wait, and see what was about to happen, along with his patience in being willing to wait long enough for it all to unfold. He was a fun and informative companion for each of the 10 days of our safari.
As much as this was a "once in a lifetime" trip for us, we had such a wonderful time we are trying to figure how we can repeat it.

WOW. Book with them now to guarantee the best trip of your life! Leadwood was absolutely perfect every single step of the way. Their communication, promptness, care, kindness, and professionalism during the planning stages was impressive. I coordinated with them to bring a group of 21 people and they ensured everything was perfect and seamless for everyone. Our accommodations and food were also better than expected- we were SO HAPPY! And the safari itself was breathtaking. Leadwood has THE BEST drivers and tour guides so you are guaranteed to feel safe and happy and you have the best chance of seeing tons of animals as the guides know exactly where to go and when. We literally saw every animal we could imagine! Our group loved spending time with Leadwood and we were so sad to say goodbye to the drivers/guides/staff involved. Our entire group of 21 people would give Leadwood 100% in every area and we can't imagine going with any other company. We all want to return to spend time with them again. Nice safari in Kenya & Tanzania
5/5

A very nice trip, Sami has lovely guided us to the Kenyan part, and John, in a quieter style managed to make us discover new things in Tanzania. The accommodation was almost too luxurious, but we adapted well :).

7 day Safari for couple + daughter. Johnson was terrific
5/5

We visited 3 sites:
Masai Mara (3 nights)
Lake Naivasha (1 night)
and Amboseli National Park game reserve (2 nights).
Johnson was our driver and guide. He has an incredible talent for spotting animals from far away with the naked eye, and is very experienced at figuring out where predators are by watching the actions of the prey animals (gazelles, buffalo, antelopes) .
Elias, in the Leadwood office was very helpful and responsive in helping us plan the trip, and accommodating our unusual pick-up location.
We saw all the big game animals including gazelles, various antelope, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes elephants, warthogs, wildebeests, and baboons in the Masai Mara. Predators we saw: Lions, Leopard, Cheetah, Hyenas, and a Jackal.
Also Hippos and a variety of birds at Lake Naivasha. Even more elephants and baboons were present at Amboselli, and we also spotted a rare Serval Cat, which
our camera captured in mid-leap.
The accomodations were also very nice, especially the Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Exceeded all Expectations - Fantastic
5/5

Communication was prompt and extremely useful during the planning of our trip.
A personal trip to visit people prior to our safari was no problem for them to accommodate. Very flexible.
The Safari itself was just brilliant. John, our guide, driver and information expert was amazing. He accommodated all our extra requests with grace. e.g. can we visit Olduvia gorge, one more photo please, what information can you tell about??? No problem.
We saw animals so close up and in such numbers. He could spot animals we were not even aware of. Would recommend these people without hesitation if you want a memorable trip. Loved every minute.

our tour leader john was fantastic. great knowledge of the animals and very flexible
5/5

The tour of the major game parks was fabulous. We got to see every thing even though this is not guarantee. Some of the big surprises were the elephants- a herd of 100 crossed the road in front of us - eating as they walked. We saw the great migrations of wildebeest and zebras where they slowly follow the good food. We saw a lioness in a tree in a park where that is not common so very lucky there. Also saw leopards and cheetahs. The hippos were hilarious with about 40 of them in a pool that could only just hold them.
