My friend and I were traveling to Africa for the first time, so we chose to join a local group to reduce the inconvenience of arranging accommodation and itinerary. After doing some research online, we decided to go to Vic falls, Chobe Park & Okavango Delta to see the animals and scenery. Because the value was very affordable and it covered all the attractions we thought of, we chose this 9-day tour.
After the online quotation, we have been communicating with the travel agency through email and WhatsApp. At first, we were a little worried about buying cattle from another mountain without any guarantee, so we asked Oscar a lot of questions. He was very patient and answered quickly, ensuring that we understood the items covered by the package. He was also considerate of our concerns and allowed us to pay half of the package in advance. Due to flight issues, we arrived at Vic Falls one day earlier than the scheduled start date of our 9-day tour. Oscar also proactively provided airport pick-up arrangements. The 9-day itinerary was properly arranged. Francis is mainly responsible for our itinerary and transfers. There will be different guides for different guided tours and hunting activities. In terms of accommodation, since we chose the most affordable package, we didn’t have much expectations for the accommodation environment, but each Tented camp was generally clean and sanitary and met our expectations. The most surprising thing was the night at Elephant Sand. It was originally budget camping, and Oscar specially upgraded it to a lounge for us. The view in the room was really amazing. With floor-to-ceiling glass, you could see the sunrise and sunset with elephants while sitting on the bed. , Oscar also specially arranged for us to have dinner with members of another group to get to know each other. It was an unforgettable night. The two nights of Okavango Delta Budget Camping that we were most worried about at first had a good experience. As soon as we arrived at the camp site, the masters packed mattresses, pillows and sleeping bags for us. There was also an outdoor toilet space, and there were The chef prepared four meals for us, which was a very good package for camping.
The overall experience was really good, the itinerary and accommodation were well arranged, there were no hidden charges, the guides were very enthusiastic and chatty, and Francis felt more like our distant friend. Would definitely recommend this company.

Smooth and Easy with fantastic guides
We enjoyed a fantastic tour in Chobe National Park, the guys at Zambesi tours had everything well organised and helped us with all border formalities. The guide in Chobe was extremely knowledgeable and fun to hang out with and the chef's food was delicious too. We just hope we can redo it sometime soon.

Okay so I don’t normally write reviews so me writing this is going above and beyond. We did the 3 day budget safari camping and it was insane. The amount of effort and thought and consideration that went into a “budget” experience was truly unparalleled, and made the experience feel luxury. Every consideration, any thing I asked, Oscar went above and beyond and surpassed all expectations. Our tour guide Moses was also fantastic, the food was fantastic, I simply can’t rave about this more. Oscar even was going to go to the lengths to meet us at dinner to make sure everyone in our groups specifications were met. There is perfect communication, and you can customize it to your exact specifications. I’ve been all around the world, and I can speak from experience the service he provides is truly unparalleled. I can’t talk highly enough about the Zambezi Expedition Team, the itinerary was so well communicated we knew exactly what we would be doing each day. From the moment we arrived the Zambezi Expedition team had everything sorted so that we had a wonderful holiday that we will never forget. We were met at the airport by Francis who was so courteous and helpful. When we arrived at the hotel which was really great and very welcoming. Silence came to ensure that we were settled in and explained the itinerary so we were fully prepared for the safari’s and fabulous river cruise. We were privileged to see elephants, zebras, hippos, ostriches, and many other animals close up living in there own environment all of the guides were so knowledgeable and explained about the conservation of these beautiful animals. The highlight among so many was for us seeing the lions up close watching them interact with each other.
This trip was the best value for money that we have ever spent and we can’t thank the wonderful team enough for providing us with so many amazing memories that we will treasure.

We booked 7 days tour, includes two nights staying at Victoria Falls, visiting falls from Zimbabwe side with a guide, going to Zambezi Sunset cruise, visiting Chobe NP in Botswana for two days and Hwange NP for one day. Two days are only for transfering between tour points.

We always had a person to talk to and every question was answered.

We booked a one night trip to Chobe with Zambezi Expedition and the entire process went smoothly. From my online inquiry to the pick up and tour, everything was easy, professional, and they were very accommodating to our specific needs. The details were great and we had one of the best experiences of our lives. We loved the trip and people so much that we booked a Sunset Cruise, a Birding Cruise, and an Airport Transfer (they do everything!) and had excellent, punctual service every time. They even remembered I was vegetarian and gave me a veg snack on the sunset cruise - that's attention to detail! Great value for money, a truly wonderful tour group. Can highly recommend them!
