Well organised, cost effective and unique!
We had a great time on our Safari! Our guide was exellent, both as a driver and in her knowledge of the park. Everything was well and smoothly organised and camping in the middle of the park was an incredible experience, being able to hear hyenas in the background. Everything at camp was well executed and the "camping" experience was made as easy and struggle-free as possible. The only qualms I had were about the restaurant for lunch on the first day, whose staff seemed mainly to be concerned about rushing us through to make a quick buck and get the next group in.

Enjoyed everyone and everything about this Safari. It was all amazing and well worth the money and they really look after you.
Above and beyond African hospitality
We took the 6 days Victoria Falls, Chobe and Hwange tour provided by Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours. Since we established communication through email in February, the team has already been assisting and guiding us with attentive and excellent service and information. Silence and Nomvula patiently answered our questions and provided us with helpful information prior to our visit.
Along the tour, we met Frances, Alpha, Vincent (in Vic Falls NP), Luke and Ethan (in Hwange). All of them were really patient, friendly and helpful in taking us places, accommodated us for our needs and what have yous.
We really had an amazing and memorable time in Vic Falls, Chobe and Hwange. From the Zambezi river cruise, Vic Falls NP walk, Chobe NP and river tour, and lastly, the Hwange trip that was just indescribable.
At the end of our trip, Oscar deliberately met and greeted us as well as to seek feedbacks and else.
I strongly recommend the Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours for your next visit to the region. Guaranteed, you will be happy and satisfied with their service.
We are really grateful for they have done, thankful that we made new friends, and wish them the best for the future. Hope to see them again if we are lucky enough to go back and explore more of what the countries and regions have more to offer.
Excellent company
We had an excellent experience with Zambezi Expedition during our trip to Victoria Falls and the safaris in Chobe National Park and Hwange National Park.
The organization and planning were outstanding from start to finish. The hotels they selected were excellent, comfortable, and very well located, and every part of the itinerary was handled smoothly and professionally.
What impressed us most was their exceptional flexibility and support during a period when it was uncertain whether we would even be able to get flights to the region. They were patient, responsive, and accommodating throughout the process, which gave us great confidence and peace of mind.
We highly recommend Zambezi Expedition to anyone planning a trip to Victoria Falls or safari tours in Botswana and Zimbabwe.

Very professional and reliable
Zambezi Expedition Travel and Tours organized for us (2 people) a 6 days tour in Victoria Falls, Chobe reserve in Botswana and Hwange reserve in Zimbabwe. It was very interesting and very enjoyable.
Long before the trip, we discussed everything with Silence. She was very professional and very tolerable to our needs and constrains. The communication with her was always quick and efficient.
The tour itself was wonderful and everything went smoothly according to the plan. Our driver, most of the time, was Francis and his service was excellent.
I highly recommend this company.

Blown away by this small tour company, their professionalism and willingness to accommodate!
The main reason for selecting this tour operator and this tour in particular was the fact that the itinerary was far less busy than the big tour companies. In our mind (and what we eventually experienced on tour) it offered more time at each stop, allowing for a better more relaxed experience while also still hitting all of the main attractions we wanted to see in the limited time we had. Initially we were hesitant about choosing a local company rather than the big tour operators because we were unsure of their reputation but Zambezi Expeditions did not disappoint!
From the moment we landed, the experience was professional and seamless. The team (especially Silence!) ensured we were fully prepared before departure, and that care continued right through to a warm airport transfer that set a wonderfully relaxed tone for the entire trip. From day one Zambezi Expeditions was happy to work with us to accommodate our tight schedule, changing tour dates slightly and switching attractions to match our needs and flights.
Our accommodation was excellent throughout (comfortable and well-organized) but the standout was Elephant Sands Lodge, which genuinely surpassed expectations. We actually ended up here at the same time as a larger tour operator (G Adventures) but had much nicer accommodations for an overall lower cost! For a camping-focused adventure, thoughtful touches like pool access, packed breakfasts, and attentive staff made it feel like so much more.
Our local driver, Francis, was an absolute highlight. Knowledgeable, personable, and wonderfully flexible for our group of two, he added real depth to the experience with his local insight and was happy to accommodate additional pit stops as needed.
The Okavango Delta tour was a particular standout — truly authentic, with gourmet meals served in the middle of the bush and even a night with local entertainment around the bonfire! Remarkable in every sense.
One tip for future guests: pack plenty of outdoor clothing and shoes for the bush walks. Other than that, we have no hesitation in recommending this tour wholeheartedly.

Great expierence on 3 games tour with Zambezi Expeditions
We did all our games with Zambezi Expeditions: 2 days at Chobe, 1 day to Hwange and 1 day to a Rhino tour in Zambia.
All were great, but you should really consider spending 2 days at Chobe: The acomodations were great, no rush in our apointments, and we made 4 games, total. It is a great planning from Zambezi Expeditions and you Will really enjoy.

Kept us comfortable in Africa
Francis picked us up from the airport and took us to the office to go through our schedule. They were SO accommodating which was appreciated because our kids are 4,7 &9 years old. All activities were wonderful, safe and very exciting. Our activities in Zimbabwe (stayed at Rainbow hotel) were Vic Falls tour, walking with Cheetahs, sunset cruise on the Zambezi, Drum show with dinner, and river rafting. Then we headed to Botswana and did 2 days in Chobe, then stayed at Elephant sands, then camped in the Okavango Delta 2 nights. Ended with a Helicopter tour over the delta. (9 days in all) Francis was with us the whole time and worked with Oscar to organize everything to be smooth all the way until he dropped us off at the airport. All guides, experiences, food, lodging was top notch and was the best value we could find. Africa (coming from USA) isn’t for beginners and if you’re on the fence, 100% go with Zambezi Expeditions!!!
