Exceptional service all the way, excellent & knowledgable guides, competitive price
We received just the best service ever from eXplore Plus Travel. As opposed to their competitors, the initial quote wasn't just a single line with a price, but included flight costs, airport taxes, optional extras ie Balloon safaris and advice on tips, drinks along the way etc. This helped us tremendously with budgeting and we were able to add on a few days afterwards to relax on the beach in Zanzibar - highly recommend this!! Every hotel was described in detail with photographs and everything was exactly as they portrayed. The tour was very well organised. Your bags were delivered to your room, collected in the morning and you knew exactly what the program was.
Our guide was amazing. They use professional and experienced guides and well maintained vehicles that are washed and cleaned every day! The guides stay in touch with each other, to maximise your game viewing. We saw absolutely everything - 3 cheetahs in one day plus leopard, lion feasting on a fresh kill, rhino, elephant, zebra and wildebeest galore...including 3 crossings! What an honour to see wildlife in their natural habitat - such respect for the animals by the guides! A bucket list adventure that far exceeded my expectations and I can unreservedly recommend eXplore Plus Travel.

Very very efficient and friendly
A few extra days on the tour would be perfect. A rest on day 1 would be ideal before setting off on excursions especially when there are mid night flights from SA.
Time for withdrawing local currency is important.
Otherwise the service everywhere was excellent.

Fun and fabulous

I just want to say a big thank you for arranging our Lesotho trip. I can honestly say that Lesotho totally exceeded any expectations I had. Our guide Steven (also known as Captain) was absolutely fabulous and totally made our trip so memorable. The lodge is really gorgeous and I would highly recommend it to future clients. The food was really good, great service, wonderful staff, very comfortable rooms and the surrounding landscape absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. We wish we stayed and extra night so was really thankful we added in the 3rd night.

Generally very good service and well organised tour , fast response to queries.
Explore plus tour to Tanzania to see the wildebees migration was well worth the money we spent! Explore plus provides a professional service yet makes everyone on the tour feel welcome. We were met at the airport by Rika to see us off and she introduced us to our tour leader Bennie.
Explore plus gave us good upfront information on what and how to pack.
The tour duration was good and covered everything promised, a longer stay at Ngorogoro would have been nice but we understand that that would make the tour price a lot higher. The hot air balloon excursion was really exciting, definately worth it. It gave us a different perspective of the area and seeing the animals from above was great.
Our tour leader was great , he made sure that all our needs were met, he even arranged a cake for our 50th wedding anneversary.
The accomodation , food and vehicles provided was very good. The driver of our vehicle was very good and he made sure that we saw a river crossing. We would have liked to have had some time for souvenier shopping in Tanzania at the end of the tour, but due to the delay of our flight (outside of Explore plus control) from Serengeti to Arusha we missed the oppertunity.

Incredible Tour operator! Met all our expectations with seamless transfers and an incredible guide!
Our Bucket-List Safari to celebrate several milestone birthdays, was to see a Wildebeest migration. Right from the first email with Naomi to the drop-off at the Airport after the trip, we were treated like royalty. Thank you, Naomi, for answering all my questions and always making sure everything is on track and sorted. Our Tour guide from Predator Safari Club, Barik, was absolutely amazing. He is extremely knowledgeable, nothing was ever a problem and he went the extra mile to make the trip super special. He planned every day's adventure carefully, which meant we got to see a Wildebeest migration without ANY other tour vehicles around. Super special in such a busy national park. The sights we saw in Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorngoro National Park were incredible and memories we will cherish. Having our mom of 80 travel with us was super special and Barik even made sure that she didn't need to walk too far when getting out of the vehicle. The trip was very special, good value for money and something I would recommend any time!! Thank you eXplore Plus and everyone who made it memorable.

Organized and on the ball
We had a great trip and it went exactly as per the program.Punctual and reliable at all times and all the small details were taken care of.The guides were well versed and very informative and knowledgable about the wild life.Good and safe driving skills and the vehicle was comfortable on the roads that are quite rough.

No problems with tour operator, only Zambezi Trader information on the flight schedule was incorrect
Ichingo Chobe , experience was excellent , with good overall service. Recommend house boat on Chobe river , more wild life to view .
Transfer from one to another place was excellent .
Zambezi Trader - disappointing , waste of time and money . poor start to the trip on air transfer .
we booked thinking we going to the Lake Kariba(as per your tour package ) - trip is on the Zambezi River , did not go close the Lake Kariba
overfished river , limit number of wild life and bird viewing compared to our Chobe experience .
No spa , fishing only
