Booking with eXplore Plus Travel & Tours takes all the hassles out of planning travel.
We travelled to Santorini in Mozambique for a couple of days, promoted and booked with eXplore Travel & Tours. As with all the other tours and travels we have booked with them, everything was hassle free. Excellent service from the host company and accommodation was the best we have ever had. The whole experienced exceeded any promotional material.

a Tour Operator that goes beyond the expected to service client
During July 2025 I contacted Explore Plus to enquire about putting together a private tour for me and my sister. We wanted to go to 2 days Cairo and 3 days Alexandria and El Alamein.
I would be leaving from Cape Town joining Hester at OR Tambo, in Johannesburg, on the way to Cairo. I will come back the same way but Hester will transport to London to visit family for 2 weeks.
Bianca organise everything for us, but then we decided to rather go in March as the weather in London will hopefully be better that time of year. Bianca changed all our arrangements and we were ready to go! Then on 28 February the war against Iran started. Explore Plus kept us informed regarding the situation in Egypt and Jordan. In the end we changed Hester's flight to British Air from Cairo and later direct to Cape Town. This was at an extra cost but effectively handled by Bianca.
Our land arrangement could not have been better. Our guides in Cairo (Rana) and Alexandria (Harry) were excellent. I learnt so much about El Alamein from Harry. The food was excellent and all the sightings we requested happened. Will definitely use Explore Plus in the future.

An amazing travel company—professional, organized, caring, and they pay close attention to details.
My husband and I and our 4 friends had a most unforgettable, 2 week Namibia trip that was perfectly organized by eXplore Plus Travel and Tours in conjunction with Sylvia’s Ompo Travel and Safari Company, their Namibian partner, who coordinated an amazing adventure for all of us. Our accommodations were varied, but perfect and the food was good.
Our guide, Angelo, was absolutely fantastic. He was a very careful driver on challenging roads and his experience and knowledge of the various areas was clearly evident. He was patient, kind, and caring and he paid attention to every detail—assuring that every day and every adventure went smoothly. We enjoyed his company very much.
While distances are vast in Namibia-sometimes 5 hours driving time between the places we visited-Angelo timed rest stops, meals, and outings to break up the long drives. Our long days were filled with amazing, interesting, and varied experiences: a visit to Sossusvlei with a challenging climb up the red sand Dune 45 along with a walk through the nearby Deadvlei; studying the interesting geology of the Sesriem Canyon; an even more challenging climb up a round granite rock face with chains at Spitzkoppe to see ancient rock art; a visit to the amazing Petrified Forest National Monument where we also saw the rare, 2,000 year old Welwitschia mirabilis plants; exciting ocean kayaking at Walvis Bay; an unscheduled but very worthwhile visit to a sustainable crocodile farm, followed by a perfect ending with a safari at Etosha National Park. All of this was with an intensive backdrop of birding and studying the native flora.
We could not have had a more perfect experience thanks to Sylvia and Angelo from Ompo Travel and Safari Company (Namibia) along with eXplore Plus Travel and Tours (South Africa).

Bucket List: Okavango Delta Safari with eXplore Plus Safari and Tours
This was the second time Salome and I, travelled into Africa with eXplore Plus and we were certainly not disappointed. The arrangements of our safari to the Okavango Delta were handled very professionally by eXplore Plus and the communication between Rika and ourselves was outstanding. We arrived by Flyairlink in Maun, Botswana, and were met by representatives of Mack Air who immediately transferred us to one of their Cessna Caravan aircraft for the flight into the delta. After about 45 minutes we landed at a private airstrip in the delta and were met by our very friendly guides from the Little Sable Camp. The drive from the airstrip to the camp was an adventure in its own right. Little Sable Camp became our absolute favourite lodge; the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, warm, proud and we became "family" from the beginning. The game drives, makorro experiences, boat rides and hospitality was outstanding. After three nights we transferred to the Mbamba Safari Camp and once again we thoroughly enjoyed the decor (1001 Arabian Night Styling), the amenities and the nature. eXplore Plus certainly curated a wonderful adventure in the Okavango Delta, exceeding all expectations and making our dream a reality; we certainly will travel with them for any of our adventures into Africa. 70 th Birthday Egyptian Tour
This was our second experience of travelling with ExplorePlus Tours after Serengeti two years ago. The didn't disappoint us with this tour. It was fantastic. Arrangements were superb. The accommodation was excellent, especially on the Nile cruise and the last night next to the Nile. The organisation from Mariska to Adel and Ramis was first class with no hiccups. Mariska was a star with her sparkling character and organisation. Adel with his amazing knowledge of Egypt and heiroglyphics was the best story teller and source of information. He always had a sparkle in his eye, a super person. Ramis was an organiser extraordinaire. The tour was very well arranged to ensure a great experience and understanding of Egypt and it's ancient civilisation. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested in visiting Egypt.
