Brilliant by name, Brilliant by nature.
It was our first time in Africa to see the wildlife and our Brilliant Safari didn’t disappoint. It was everything that we had hoped for and more.
Julieth did a great job organising our Safari changing it suits as we wanted a bit more time on the Serengeti and at Ngorongoro Crater. The Safari accommodation was great especially Into The Wild on the Serengeti with wildlife wandering around and through the camp and Serena at Ngorongoro overlooking the crater.
We saw elephants, dic dic, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, impalas and more all from our accommodation at Into The Wild.
A special mention to Boni our Safari guide who made the trip unforgettable! His knowledge of the area and the animals was invaluable.
Boni knows most of the other Safari guides and keeps in contact with them on the two way radio about the location of other wildlife so if there is a leopard or cheetah around or some action happening then Boni will know.
Most people are lucky to see one leopard on a Safari but we saw three in one day.
Our catch phase for the Safari was, “In Boni We Trust” because he will find the best that there is to see.

The tour operator has organized a perfect adventure with amazing surprises.
We booked the tour spontaneously few months before departure. Organizations and communications were very easy going and clear as per WhatsApp. The planing went quick and every upcoming questions were answered within the day.
During the adventure everyone was friendly and kind. The tour was perfectly organized and everything went as planned. We had a wonderful time without any complications. Our guide was extremely invested into showing us all we wanted to see. Thanks to him we were able to see much more than we expected in only very few days. He was very competent, professional and familiar.
The lodges and food were very superb! With swimming pools and beautiful environments. The trip was worth every cent.

Knowledgeable, kind, and amazing.
We chose the mid-luxury 11 night Tanzanian safari package. Lightness was my contact for booking and couldn’t have been more helpful. She truly went above and beyond. This trip to Tanzania has been a lifetime dream of mine and she really took that into account helping me plan.
All of our accommodations were beautiful. I even added an additional day at our first hotel, which was stunning.
Our guide, Joshua, was fantastic! We truly believe we formed a friendship with him and couldn’t have wished for a better person to help us experience the culture of Tanzania and the animals we were lucky enough to encounter.
We had three lunches in the bush right out in the open wild. It was magical and beautiful. I would say, for me, I would have spent the final days back in Arusha as opposed to Zanzibar. The hotel was lovely as were the people but the humidity was wild. Very very hot and sweaty. But seeing and swimming in the Indian Ocean was an experience I am very glad I experienced!
My husband and I had the best time, saw the beautiful scenery of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, took thousands of photos of the wildlife, and will remember this for a lifetime.
I have already recommended Brilliant Safaris, specifically Lightness and Joshua, to friends. Magical would be the best word to describe the entire experience.

The Best Trip of Our Lives – A Perfect Honeymoon Safari!
We had the best trip of our lives for our honeymoon!
Before the safari, we expected it might be quite tiring, but it turned out to be the complete opposite — everything was comfortable and perfectly arranged.
Our guide, Fredi, was absolutely amazing. He made us feel so relaxed throughout the trip, and his ability to spot animals during the game drives was truly impressive. He explained everything in such an engaging and informative way that every moment felt special.
The itinerary was also completely customized according to what we wanted, and everything went smoothly from start to finish.
It was an unforgettable experience — truly the best journey of our lives. Thank you, Fredi, for making our honeymoon so perfect!

Great experience and wildlife with brilliant
If you are looking for a small, local and personal tour operator, Brilliant safaris is your choice. We booked a 8 day safari and 4 day Zanzibar stay for a young couple. Communication beforehand with Gladys was smooth and quick. She tailored the trip to all our wishes and recommended some good changes, all within our budget. All our transfers were arranged and on time. The stays were 'standard' options but already feld like luxury to us. Good food and hot lunches every day.
During our safari it was just us, the indestructible car and our guide Aaron for 8 days straight. We did not need anything else because Aaron was a great driver, guide and nice to talk too. We had a lot of fun, Mambo vipi and Kwaherrie rafiki!
We also saw all the animals we could think off. Big 5 (about 100 lions), thousands of zebra's, wildebeest and Antilope's, many giraffes and elephants. few cheetahs and leopards and a crocodile eating a wildebeest during the river crossing. Amazing wildlife in the Serengeti, would highly recommend!

A fantastic trip, well planned in advance by the Brilliant office. Communication was excellent. The selected accommodations were fantastic, with delicious food. The guide, Aron, was absolutely fantastic; he showed us countless animals and explained a lot. Our children (8, 10, and 12 years old) were also thrilled, and Aron was absolutely fantastic.

My girlfriend and I recently returned from a 6-day safari in Tanzania followed by a 4-day beach stay in Zanzibar, and we can confidently say that choosing Brilliant Safaris was one of the best travel decisions we’ve ever made. It was our very first safari, so we were completely new to the experience and knew we’d be relying heavily on our guide and we truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better than our guide, Tuma. Additionally, Lightness, who handled all our booking and administrative arrangements, was an absolute star - she guided us through every step of the process with professionalism and warmth, was very responsive to our questions (average 1-day response time) and made planning, payment and logistics stress free.
From the moment we met them, they made us feel like family. Tuma was warm, friendly, and instantly put us at ease. By day one, it already felt like we were travelling with an old friend — one who had an encyclopaedic knowledge of wildlife, landscapes, and Tanzanian culture. Whether it was identifying birds in the distance, explaining animal behaviour, or sharing fascinating stories about local traditions, every moment with him was both fun and educational.
We booked The Great Migration package, and thanks to Tuma’s exceptional timing and navigation skills, we managed to witness hordes of Wildebeests embark on two river crossings in just three days, both from incredible, up-close vantage points. On top of that, we saw the Big Five and practically all the must-see animals by our second day.
As a keen photographer, I was especially grateful for how Tuma tailored the trip around my desire to capture great wildlife shots. He positioned the vehicle perfectly for lighting, patiently waited for the right moments, and always went above and beyond to ensure I got the best possible photographs.
The entire experience was seamless — from the comfortable accommodations and delicious meals to the perfectly planned itinerary that balanced adventure and relaxation. Brilliant Adventures and Safaris was brilliant!
My wife and I had an absolutely amazing private safari with Brilliant Adventures and Safaris! Everything went smoothly from the pickup at the airport, to the safari in the Serengeti, to the drop off back at the airport. We couldn’t have asked for a better driver/guide/friend to lead our safari. Joshua, went above and beyond and we were truly treated like VIPs. We were fortunate enough to see just about everything we wanted to see. No promises, of course, since nature will do what nature wants to do. However, because we were on our own personal safari with an incredibly patient and skilled guide, we could take our time and allow nature come to us.
We would absolutely safari again with Brillant. Our experience was truly unforgettable.
