We just returned from an unforgettable safari with Safari Soles, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice of tour operator! Before the trip, we worked with Renatta Paul to design our itinerary and communicated with Catherine for on-the-ground support while we were traveling. Both were incredibly responsive via WhatsApp and went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests. Huge thanks to Renatta and Catherine for their care and professionalism!
If you're wondering about the legitimacy of Safari Soles—rest assured, they are 100% reliable and trustworthy. As this was our first safari, it's hard to gauge if our pricing was high, but we know there are pricier options out there. Meals and drinks were included and suited our tastes well, and the accommodations exceeded expectations—clean, comfortable, and beautifully located.
Our guides were knowledgeable and ensured we got the most out of our safari experience. While we didn’t catch a glimpse of the elusive leopard or rhino, we still saw a spectacular range of wildlife, including several of the Big Five. For extras like hot air balloon rides or visiting a Maasai village, it’s a good idea to let your guide know ahead of time so they can plan accordingly.
We’re already missing Tanzania and highly recommend Safari Soles to anyone planning a trip to this incredible part of the world.

Amazing Adventure with Mandela of Safari Soles
Our tour with Safari Soles was an amazing adventure. Spending six full days on safari with our guide, Mandela, was a dream. We got more than our fill of animals migrating, stalking, hanging out, eating, etc. We didn’t just see the wildlife, many times we were there when something interesting was happening … a lion eating with anxious hyenas probing and circling for their turn was one of our favorites. Mandela would stop the jeep whenever he/we spotted our favorite animals, no matter how small (like mongoose) or how crazy-looking (like wildebeests). The list of animals and beautiful birds that we were among is too long to mention, but we saw everything we wanted to and learned about many creatures we hadn’t counted on seeing, but were living naturally right in front of us.
Mandela was our expert. He knew the right places to find the animals and birds we wanted to see, and so often we got to see them very close. We immediately felt his expertise with great background information to understand what we were seeing and interesting facts about the wildlife and the area. Not only did we feel at ease, but we felt like family. I think Mandela was enjoying the rhythms and spectacle of nature as much as we were, and we felt it. He navigated and drove superbly. Every morning when we started, the jeep would be immaculately clean and would be provided with drinks, cushions, and binoculars for us.
Safari Soles chose the most beautiful and homey lodgings, and we enjoyed them all. The buffet dinners and breakfasts were expansive at each place, and we loved tasting the different, wonderful African cuisines. We had several lunches at designated picnic areas in the park, and Mandela would pull out the tablecloth, silverware and plates for our delicious meals together.
The Serengeti itself along with Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park were truly breathtaking, and I thank Mandela and Safari Soles for offering us such an extraordinary adventure with an equally extraordinary guide!

Great Experience
The trip was amazing. Our guide Shema was the best. Always smiling, flexible, took us to nice places to see game, handled issues with the car very well. We visited Tarangire, Northern Serengeti, Central Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Good value for money.

Best tour operator ever, 5 stars and our Mohammed was amazing!
The safari trip was truly amazing, first class all the way round and our tour guide Mohammed was the best. We saw tons of animals the lodge was 5 stars and the entire experience, simply mind blowing!! The pinic lunch was super yummy, jeeps comfortable, we even saw animals on the side of the road. Must do!!

Fabulous experience! Wonderful guide!
We had a fabulous time with Safari Soles on our 8-day safari tour. Our tour guide, Jonathan Msabaha (Jonas) was one of the best. He went far and beyond to make our first safari experience an extraordinary one. Not only did we see the big 5, we saw a lot more animals than just that! Our itinerary was very organized, and Jonas had briefing with us everyday and made sure we were attended to in every way possible. We felt very safe with Jonas and enjoyed his company and occasional jokes and funny moments. This will definitely be a memorable trip of a lifetime, and we recommend Safari Soles to anyone who is interested, and if you’re lucky you might get Jonas as your guide!

The Quintessential Safari Experience for a Couple
As a couple, we did a private 7 day trip with 5 days on safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and only wish that we had more time to spend with Safari Soles! We loved every minute of the trip. Tons of wildlife sightings including large herds of elephants, prides of lions and their cubs, cheetahs, the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras and so much more. Our safari guide Jonathon (Jonas) was knowledgeable, informative, welcoming and simply a very enjoyable person to spend time with. He truly was the perfect safari guide and ambassador for Tanzania. Everyone at Safari Soles was incredibly friendly and helpful, from the time of enquiry all the way through the end of the trip. Very easy to book and work with. All the accommodations arranged by them were top notch. It was a very hassle free trip. We got to sit back and enjoy the beautiful wonders of Tanzania. We’ve been on many trips together around the world and this was easily one of our favorites, many thanks to Safari Soles.

An unforgettable safari tour!
Furahini from Safari Soles was very friendly and helpful in planning, planning and organizing our trip to Tanzania. We had three guides on this trip, Baltazary, Stapha and Enock. They were all very friendly and attentive. While Baltazary and Enock (both of them took care of us well) were our transfer guide, Stapha was our safari guide and he went out of his way to ensure that we had the best chances of seeing the animals, the migration and the river crossings. He was very knowledgeable about the animals, the grass lands, the national parks and the safari parks. By the way, he was also a very skilled driver. It was a really great and unforgettable trip.
