A Life-changing Experience! 🇨🇦🇹🇿
Wow. What a life-changing trip!
First off - if you ever book with Safari Soles you are in great hands. Happiness helped arrange our custom itinerary, so that we could tackle all we wanted to for our 2 week honeymoon in Africa.
Next, we met our driver/guide, Raymond, who is truly one of a kind. From his great taste in music for the long car rides, to his unwavering commitment to making sure you achieve everything you want to on your safari, it truly does not get any better. From Day 1 we felt so comfortable and knew we made a friend for life.
We started off at Tarangire National Park where we had an amazing day driving around and seeing all of the wildlife the park has to offer. The next days, we made our way through by the Serengeti, where we stayed at 5-star accommodations (truly) and were treated incredibly by all of the staff. We ended off at the N'gorongoro Crater where we achieved our goal of seeing the Big 5 and MORE!
Everywhere we went was very clean, very accommodating, and went above our expectations.
Side note - if you're a picky eater like me, do not fret as there is a good selection of food for every meal, and the staff are more than willing to accommodate should you not like the menu set out.
This truly was a life-changing trip, and we can not say enough good things about all that were involved in the planning of our perfect honeymoon.
Thank you to Happiness, Innocent and Raymond for leaving a lasting impact on our lives with this trip of a lifetime!
Asante!
Unforgettable moment
We spent a truly timeless, unforgettable moment on this safari with our incredible guide, Jeremiah. The breathtaking scenery and the extraordinary encounters with wildlife made this experience truly special. We would like to thank Jeremiah for his patience and positive attitude throughout this unforgettable adventure. We will definitely be back! 🤩

Safari Soles Tour guide was not good
I booked a 4 day private tour with Safati Soles. I booked with Safari Soles because my booking agent was incredible itherwise i wouldve booked directly with the lodge. I was a solo female traveler and this was my first BIG solo trip. I stayed at Lemala Impingo Ridge. The camp was beautiful and the staff was awesome. I enjoyed everything besides my tour guide with safari lodge. His name was Godlisten. This was not my first safari trip so I had something to compare it to. Your tour guide will make or break a safari trip and Godlisten was awful. The next morning I did a video with Godlisten to share on my YouTube with how he received his name. I decided not to post anythung regarding Gidlisten as it was not a good experience. Here Is everything I did not like about Godlisten as my tour guide
1) I was told he would be waiting on me upon my arrival in Arusha at the airport. As a solo female in a foreign area I want my ride to be readily available when I arrive and waiting. Godlisten was not standing out with my name. I waited 2 to 3 minutes once I received my bag as Godlisten had been sitting in the car.
2) On the way to Lemala Ridge Reseve we stopped for lunch. This picnic area was very crowded with tourist and kids on field trips. I advised Godlisten we could sit in the truck and have lunch. I personally do not being around alot of people. Godlisten was determined for us to eat at the picnic table after I stated we could eat in the truck. We walked to several different tables with him hoping someone was getting up from the table. He finally found a table and proceeded to set the lunch on the table. I told Godlisten I do not like being around alot of people. He stated that's good to know but still insisted we eat at the picnic table. He sat the food on the table and I ask was salt and pepper provided. He said we have salt and no pepper I told him wonderful. I proceeded to put salt on MY food on MY plate and he told me I needed to taste it first. I salted some of MY other food on MY plate and he says oh so you like salt. I had no response for Godlisten about MY food. I proceeded to eat my food even though it was not enjoyable with all these people and kids running. After eating I immediately told Godlisten I'm going to the truck to sit and put on bug spray. Godlisten did not listen to anything I said and did everything his way. It would have been better if Godlisten would have given me options on where to eat
2) Godlisten is the tour guide so as the customer I assume he is the expert. On a game drive the windows were down and the top was open. The jeep started to swarm with tsete flies. I stated I was just bitten and he then proceeded to close the jeep and turn on air. A good tour guide would've advised the customer (me) about the tsete flies in the area and asked me if I wanted air or the top open. Godlisten once again did things his way and as a result I was bitten and fighting flies in the enclosed jeep the entire time with air on. I was exhausted from fighting flies and no longer wanted to continue and asked him to return me back to the lodge.
I advisef Gidlisten several times I did not want to see any snakes. On this same game drive he tells me to look there is a small snake. Why would he do this??
3) The very next day I had a scheduled balloon ride that I cancelled and no longer wanted to go on. I called the reserve and told them I no longer need a wakeup call I cancelled the balloon. Godlisten called me from the reserve to ask why did I cancel. I told him I no longer want to do the balloon ride. We hung up. Godlisten then sent me a WhatsApp message asking if I was okay. He knew I had a bad experience from the tsete flies the day prior. I told him I was fine. The next day I see Godlisten to go on a game drive he is still asking me why did I cancel the balloon. I advised Godlisten we already discussed I advised I was fine please stop asking me the same question.
4) My departure morning Godlisten advised it would take an hour to get out of the park from the lodge. We were out in 30 minutes as Godlisten was speeding out of the lodge on the rough roads. We were going 50, 60 and sometimes 70 kil per his dashboard through the National Park. Godlisten advised the lodge gave him breakfast and to let him know when I wanted the breakfast. After so long riding I advised I needed to use the restroom. He advised it would be about 15 minutes and we could eat breakfast. We stopped I used the restroom and he has breakfast sitting out at a table that was at the rest stop. I got my breakfast and went to the car. It was cold and rainy. He went to the restroom came back and saw me eating in jeep. He asked me was it too cold outside. Once again Godlisten was determined to do things his was and not ask the customer (me). I proceeded to eat in the car and he came back to the car. It would've been nice for Godlisten to ask me where I would like to eat MY breakfast. I did not want to have my breakfast in the rain and cold and I was not.
After arriving at the airport Godlisten thanked me for choosing Safari Soles and apologized for my safari. He knew it was nor a good experience.
You pay too much money to have a tour guide thats inconsiderate of your wants and needs on your trip. Godlisten did not ask me one time what i wanted nor did he listen to anything I told him. My trip was ALL ABOUT HIM!
Godlisten did the exact opposite of everything I wanted the entire trip.

Great animals, great fun, great guide!
Had the best time on safari with our guide, Christian. He had great knowledge of the area and the animals, asked us what we wanted to see each day and travelled accordingly. He had great energy and humour and we felt like he was part of our group not just a driver/guide. We saw all the animals our group wanted to see and more.
We were also well fed with food and refreshments each day as part of our package.
Would recommend Christian and Safari Sole Tours to anybody!

Once a Safari Lover, Always a Safari Lover 🦓
Choosing a reliable safari operator is the single most important part of any trip to Africa—and choosing this one was absolutely the best decision we made for our entire journey.
Our guide, Dickson, is patient, professional, attentive, and always eager to help. At the start, he asked about our favorite animals and what we hoped to see, and he made sure to remember every single one of our requests. Since I love giraffes and we were desperate to spot the Big Five, he made it his mission to make both happen for us.
Dickson is like a walking, talking African encyclopedia. There isn’t an animal he doesn’t know, and he always takes the time to explain their behaviors and habits to us. He drove us all over the reserve in search of new sightings, and thanks to his expertise, we witnessed so many rare, unforgettable moments: a pride of lionesses fighting over a wildebeest kill, a leopard feasting on its prey, an impala mother eating her placenta right after giving birth, the massive wildebeest migration, spotted hyenas cooling off in a puddle, and warthogs rubbing themselves against tree stumps. It felt like we’d stepped into a whole other world.
As two female travelers, we also felt incredibly safe and well taken care of with Dickson. He always found the best light and angles to take photos of us, apologized every time the road got bumpy, and even laid out our tablecloth, set our utensils, and made us coffee at every meal. He also gave us the best advice: head out early in the morning when the animals are most active and the weather is cooler, then head back to camp to rest at midday before heading out again in the afternoon when the heat dies down.
When there wasn’t much wildlife around, he taught us simple Swahili phrases and told us jokes to keep the mood light. His driving skills are also top-notch—we always felt completely safe in his hands, no matter the terrain. He navigated muddy patches with ease and was always respectful, giving way to both wildlife and other vehicles on the road.
Dickson’s care and expertise truly made our trip worry-free and unforgettable. This safari will go down as one of the most special experiences of our lives. They say you only do safari once or never stop coming back—and we’re already ready to come back.

Exceded our expectations
We recently completed our 10-day tour with Safari Soles. I’m not one who normally does reviews because my expectations of customer service and care are rarely met. I am please to say that with Safari Soles they were exceeded. From the beginning Joachim Mushi, our sales consultant, was extremely helpful as we worked through the details of putting together our itinerary. He was always responsive whether on the phone or through e mail. All the Safari Soles staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and determined to see that we enjoyed ourselves. The camps we stayed at were neat, clean, good food and filled with great folks. Our Guide however rose above all others. Silas Mathayo was the crown jewel in our trip. Friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the Country, the parks and of course the animals. His personality and sense of humor added to his knowledge made him an absolute joy to spend eight days with. By the end we felt like family and hated to part company with him. This was our first safari and thus our first guide so I can’t really make a comparison, however I would be hard pressed to see how anyone could be better that Silas. Thank you Silas, Joachim and the entire Safari Soles family. I whole heartly recommend them to anyone considering a safari. Eddie and Lou Ann

An unforgettable experience!
We just returned from our safari, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Big thanks to the whole company for an incredible trip.
A special thanks to Happiness, our contact person, who did an amazing job. She was so nice, professional, and gave us the best service throughout the entire process.
And of course, to Mandella, our champion guide! We connected with him instantly. He is the best guide we could have ever asked for. He knows everything about the wildlife, truly loves his job, and does everything with a huge smile and great energy. We were so lucky to have him with us.
Highly recommended company and the best team! 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing Safari experience
An absolute stunning life experience Everything was perfectly organised, from the incredibly comfortable lodges to the delicious food. A massive shout out to our guide, Dickson, with eagle eyes spotted animals we would have completely missed, and his deep knowledge of the bush made every single game drive educational and thrilling. Highly recommend this exact circuit for anyone looking to experience the magic of Tanzania.
Arusha: a special thanks to Eric from whom we learn about the local culture before heading into the bush with Dickson
Tarangire National Park:
Kicked off our safaris with towering baobab trees and breathtaking numbers of elephants. Watching the giraffes up close was magical and Maasai village visit offered a deeply memorable window into traditional pastoralist culture and community life before, heading out into the wilderness again.
The Serengeti:
Pure magic. The sheer scale of the endless plains is mind-blowing. We witnessed the Lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, hyenas and more and got so close to the wildlife it felt like we could touch them.
Ngorongoro Crater: Descending into the crater was like entering a lost world. The landscape is stunning, and the density of animals is unlike anywhere else on earth.
Our safari reconnected us with raw nature and left us with an unforgettable awe for the wild.
