7 day private family Safari - bly in and drive out
We just finished a 7 day safari for a family group of 7 with Safari Soles and Isack as our Guide. Everything thing about the process was top notch professional from the quotation and contracting phase, to the transportation and of course most important, the Safari guide support by Isack.
After getting quotations from several good tour operators, we chose Safari Soles based on their excellent past reviews, a competitive price and timely support during the planning and contracting process. We chose to fly into the northern Serengeti from Arusha on the morning of day one and drive out which was an excellent way to get the most out of your time. We were met by Isack (who had driven ten hours the day before to be ready to meet us when we landed at 8:15am. We immediately started the game drive and by 10:00 we were watching two lines of hundreds of wildebeest crossing the Mara river back into Tanzania – a sight we hoped but did not expect to see. We continued the week staying at excellent camps in the Serengeti, Crater and Tarangaire with sights of dozens of lions, leopard with her dinner (zebra) in the tree with her, dozens of elephants, water buffalo, zebra and other beautiful game.
We can’t say enough about Isack really made the week for us with his professionalism, excellent knowledge providing detailed answers to our countless questions, and his close attention to little details that made the Safari experience better for all of us. We all felt like he was part of the family by day 7. You can’t go wrong with this team.

Excellent local tour operator! Planned to the notch!
Such a great local tour operator! Their service, adaptability, competitive pricing and response made trip planning so easy!
Package was well planned for 9-10 days and covered all the key areas!
And we had the best guide - CHEDY! He is the most kind, funny, knowledgeable, patient and experienced person I have ever met! He drove well, had an answer always to our 1000s of questions, would spot an animal way before we could even realize and was the most fantastic host! I truly recommend him to any of the trips and would return to TZ especially if he would guide us again! Kudos to Safari Soles!

Our first safari was unforgettable thanks to safari Soles
Our 8-day safari with Safari Soles was an incredible adventure, and much of that is thanks to our fantastic guide, Godlisten. From sunrise to sunset, he worked tirelessly to ensure we had the best experience possible. His keen eye for spotting animals was impressive—he seemed to notice wildlife before anyone else, and thanks to him, we saw the entire Big 5 and many more animals!
The vehicle added to the adventurous feel of the journey, making every moment of the safari exciting. We also appreciated Safari Soles' eco-friendly practices, such as using reusable packaging for our meals. It's great to see a company committed to sustainability.
Another highlight was the flexibility in adjusting our accommodations. We had a few specific requests, and Safari Soles was happy to make changes for us, which made the trip even more enjoyable.
While the experience was mostly flawless, there are a couple of small areas for improvement. We sometimes had to remind the staff that we are vegetarians. Additionally, the two days we spent primarily on travel routes could have been communicated better in advance to manage expectations.
Overall, we had an unforgettable safari with Safari Soles, and we'd recommend them to anyone looking for a unique and well-rounded experience!

Unforgettable days among African wildlife; 3-day luxury fly in fly out safari
We absolutely loved our safari experience - wonderful close-up encounters with elephants, giraffes, lions, hyenas, zebra, wildebeest and more - and overnight stays in really comfortable lodges who served excellent food. We highly recommend our guide Christian - he was very knowledgeable and perfectly discreet.
Pick-up and transfers were very smooth - all personnel involved spoke English fluently.

Best Safari experience!
Our unforgettable safari adventure with Safari Soles was truly the experience of a lifetime! Our coordinator, Rachel, did an exceptional job organizing our 10-day trip to Tanzania, working closely with us to ensure everything was meticulously planned and exceeded our expectations.
The accommodations and meals were beyond what we anticipated! As a picky eater, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I enjoyed everything we tried. Each camp and hotel was incredible, and the staff were always warm and welcoming. Falling asleep to the sounds of wildlife, including the calls of hyenas, was an experience like no other.
Upon our early arrival at Mount Kilimanjaro Airport, we kicked off our journey with a fantastic city tour with our driver Erick that included the Cultural Heritage Centre Museum, local markets, Maasai Markets, and a delicious meal at a local restaurant—an ideal introduction to our trip.
The highlight was our seven-day safari, expertly guided by Chediel (also known as Cheddy). His extensive knowledge of the wildlife and culture, along with giving us some Swahili lessons, made our adventure even more enriching. We laughed and shared inside jokes throughout our time together, making the experience even more memorable. Chediel’s keen ability to spot wildlife ensured we were always in the best positions for breathtaking views and incredible photos. He truly made our trip unforgettable, and I highly recommend him as your guide.
With Chediel, we were fortunate to witness the Big Five, the wildebeest migration and river crossing three times, ostriches during their mating ritual, and even lions and hyenas feasting! We also enjoyed a scenic walk in the Kilimanjaro foothills, a visit to a waterfall, and a refreshing swim in the Kikuletwa Hot Springs, all thanks to Chediel's fantastic recommendations.
We also had an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti at sunrise, which offered stunning views of the wildlife and landscape. Our visit to a Maasai village was equally rewarding, as we were warmly welcomed and learned about their traditions and culture. Overall, we cherished every moment of our trip and the friendship we built with Cheddy. I wholeheartedly recommend Safari Soles for your Tanzania adventure!

8 day safari / big migration
Going to Serengeti to see the wildlife was my childhoods dream. We just came back from this, one of a lifetime, epic safari. Our guide Innocent was the best ever. He listened very well what we expected from this trip and then just made it all happen. He was able to find the big 5, the ugly 5 and the beautiful 5. But not only that, we had thrilling experiences, like lionesses attacking wildebeest, attacking rhinos, we had to save a cheetah with het babies from 3 lions and we saw the big migration, but not just once, multiple times, and one of those was a crossing from over 2 or 3000 wildebeest, soooo emotional !!! Innocent speaks English and French perfectly. He's the best ! 😍 Zuria put our itinerary together. She did a great job ! Everything was perfectly organised 👍
We came back with our eyes and hearts full ! We definitely recommend Safari Soles but even more our guide Innocent Richard Mushi

Superb
A special thank you to Elias.
He was quite the best guide anyone could wish for.
Always kind and courteous, we felt completely safe in his company wherever we went. He obviously puts the safety of his passengers to be top priority, and within 10 minutes of setting off, we could tell that he was such a good driver. We never felt unsafe even on the roughest African roads or in the close proximity to some of the most dangerous animals!
We always want to know everything there is to know about things and ask lots of questions.
Elias possesses the most detailed knowledge about each specie’s habitat, preferred environment, food, reproduction cycle, anatomy and lifestyle. We also discussed the nickname for some of the animals and the reasons for this. We also learned a lot about Tanzania, the people, culture, customs, and family life. He was so informative!
As regards his ability to find game, he combines extensive knowledge with his experience and extremely sharp eyesight to be frequently able to spot things, others had missed. He rightly justifies his nickname of ‘Elias Eagle Eyes.’
Finally, could we say thank you to you Magreth for putting together such a comprehensive, interesting safari schedule which we thoroughly enjoyed and will remember for the rest of our lives.

Unforgettable experience thanks to the best guides Ernest and Innocent
Me and my group of 9 friends recently went on a Safari Soles tour, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Our guides, Ernest and Innocent, were nothing short of amazing. They were incredibly knowledgeable and constantly in tune with the surroundings, always listening to the radio for additional wildlife sightings. Thanks to them, we got to see a wide range of animals in their natural habitat, and they ensured we got some incredible photos! In addition, they had answers to any questions we had and gave us many fun and unique facts. Ernest and Innocent took care of everything—from making sure we were well-fed to keeping us safe throughout the entire trip. It's clear they genuinely cared about our experience and are passionate about what they do. They made the whole adventure an unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience.
Our accommodations varied from luxurious villas to cozy tents, which made for a unique and memorable trip. Even while camping, I always felt safe and well-cared-for, with access to all the essentials. I never worried for my safety, as the staff was very attentive and there was always a Maasai member nearby to guide us anywhere we needed. Falling asleep to the sounds of zebras and lions in the distance was one of the highlights of the trip.
I can’t recommend Ernest, Innocent, and Safari Soles enough! If you're looking for a safari that combines adventure, comfort, and expert guidance, there's no one better to go with.

Trip of a lifetime with Ernest and Innocent
Safari Soles went above and beyond to help us plan our safari. It was our first time going to Tanzania and going on a safari so none of us knew what to expect. We were a group of 9, so naturally Safari Soles offered us a private excursion with two jeeps. And with any big groups, we were a hot mess. We made so many requests/revisions to the itinerary and Magreth (our organzier) at Safari Soles was so patient with us. The itinerary was super user friendly and easy to navigate.
We bonded with all of our guides. Everyone was super friendly, and hoping we made life long friends with some of them. Big shout out to Chief and Andrew for giving us a warm welcome to Arusha. And all hail Ernestie and Inno for the trip of our life, from Tarangire National Park to Northern Serengeti. It was a lot of driving, and they were such troopers. Ernest was able to spot any animal from miles away, even when I had trouble finding them with binoculars! Both guides had years of experience. We felt safe in the jeeps with them, never did we feel like we were in danger. We were so sad to leave at the end.
10/10 plan your trip with Safari Soles!
