They made our dream come true

Thank you so much for making our safari a dream come true.
We loved every moment of the experience, from the wildlife sightings to the accommodations. We especially appreciated the knowledge Shoes shared with us about the nature in your beautiful country. We felt very safe and well looked after throughout the trip.
We could not spot all the animals on our own, Shoes was amazing in taking us to the right places where we could see leopards, lions, elephants, wild dogs....so many different animals that we could not even imagine!!
Our kids loved exploring and getting to know about the animals, plants and culture with Shoes. Our son keeps saying he will be back and work with Shoes in the future!!!
Thamia helped us organise the safari based on what was important for us, we chose staying inside the National Park to be able to leave in the early morning and already spot all sort of animals.
Our adventure far exceeded our expectations, and we will cherish these memories forever. Thank you again for everything.

Knowledgeable, Flexible, Friendly and Professional
Everything about Khalanga was top drawer. From the initial enquiry trough to dropping us off at the departure airport, Thamia in the office and Shoes our guide were excellent.
Accommodation was arranged at the Khaya Ndlovu reserve in Hoedspruit in a luxury tent overlooking the watering hole where we had regular visits of zebra, water buck, monkeys and mongeese. We had a combination of safaris at the reserve and guided trips with company owner and all round top guy Shoes who spotted and showed us animals and birds we would never have seen on our own. We visited Kruger NP and did the Panorama route into the Drakensberg with Shoes.
All round great safari trip and I fully recommend Khalanga who will take care of all your needs.

Professional and Customizable
We had the best experience traveling with Khalunga Safaris. All processes were simple, customizable, and traceable. With our professional guide, “Shoes,” we thoroughly enjoyed sightseeing, shopping, and spotting the Big 5. We especially loved how he put safety first for his visitors.

Had the most amazing 4-day safari!! Couldn’t have asked for a better guide— Doc was super knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly! Highly recommend booking and asking for Doc, this was one of my favorite travel experiences to date! Also big thanks to Johanna for helping with the very last-minute booking and to Shoes for helping with coordination! We saw all the animals we hoped to and more, such an awesome experience overall.

Passionate and caring!
We contacted Khalanga Safaris to see if they could take our team to the Kruger Park, some of whom had never been. From the get go Thamia at Khalanga was fantastic. On the day Shoes and Doc, our two guides collected us from the accommodation and took the team on an unforgettable experience, sharing their knowledge and immense passion. Poor Service
We have traveled to many countries around the world, and we have never experienced service this disappointing from a tour company. This was one of our worst travel experiences. I am extremely disappointed and regret choosing this company over others based on the reviews we read.
From our perspective, the focus seemed to be on receiving full payment two weeks before the trip. After payment, communication felt insufficient to us. We had to make several calls just to confirm details for the first day, and after the tour started, we personally felt there was no meaningful follow-up to check whether everything was going well or if we had any concerns. We only heard from the company again after the program had already ended.
The meals that were included were not what we expected. Breakfast and dinner appeared to be pre-prepared, and we were uncomfortable with how dinner was being handled by the guide/driver. Because of this, we chose not to eat the provided meals and instead paid for our own breakfasts and dinners. No one from the company followed up with us to ask why we had refused the meals.
Overall, we felt that the quality of the experience did not match the price we paid. In our opinion, we were charged at a premium level but received a much lower standard of service. Because of this experience, when friends asked us for advice about booking a safari this year, we advised them to look elsewhere.
The only positive aspect of the safari for us was the guide, Daison, who was very helpful and supportive during the trip.

Flexible, experienced and professional safari company
Thamia (backoffice) was a huge help in planning our week in Kruger National Park. She brainstormed with us, made suggestions and handled all logistics perfectly. Our tour guide was Shoes (owner), a professional with an enormous dedication for animals and nature ; he gave us a fantastic week of safari with the right attention, expertise, patience and service. If you're looking for a tailor-made trip in Kruger National Park, Khalanga Safaris is the company that will definitely give you the time of your life, a trip you'll never forget.

The guide (Doctor) was excellent, as well as the hits on the spots for views on the animals, inclusief the big 5!
The facilities for eating en sleeping oké. The cooking by the guide less efficiënt, better to go to the restaurant……
We recomment Khalanga for a good Safari!!
