I have lived and worked in Kenya for a number of years and have experienced many conservancy style safari trips. I can say without hesitation the the package delivered by Mr David Mbuthia (Native Africa Trails) is the best of them all, we have never seen so many of the big 5 so often. His attention to detail, knowledge of the Mara sites, prices and attitude towards his clients is excellent. I unequivocally recommend the 4 day safari experience to anyone, you will love it

We had a tailored package in the Mara which was exceptional. His knowledge and professionalism was first class. We saw everything and more that we wanted. He worked tirelessly to deliver for us all from start to finish. It’s every small detail that makes him a step above the others we have used. Highly recommended and would use him again.
His vehicle was spotless, fully fitted with a fridge, phone charging points and exceptionally comfortable.

Great safari experience
David was recommended to us by Mara Serena hotel, in which we stayed with a friend while visiting Masai Mara. David picked us up from the airport upon arrival, drove us to Masai Mara and did game drives with us. It was super convenient as we did not have time to plan ahead of our trip. As we were super happy with David, we extended our booking by a few more days, and went with him to Lake Nakuru Park.
Overall, we had a great experience with David. He is very knowledgeable about all topics, be it safari animals or Kenya politics. We truly had super interesting conversations. On top of that, David went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience, and always proved flexible, timely, and helpful.
Would recommend Native Africa Trails and David to anyone, and would definitely use their help should I come back to Kenya. Thank you again !

My tour operator was reliable, trustworthy, and wouldn't hesitate to suggest him.
I used David from Native America Travels to drive me from the Serena Mara Lodge in the Mara Triangle to Nairobi during the Covid and found that he was very reliable and made this journey an easy and safe one. We had great conversations filling in the hours but also I was comfortable just watching the scenery and enjoying myself. He comes highly recommended.

5 unforgettable days in Maasai Mara with David
David really is the guy you need for your safari adventure in Kenya for sure. Originally he was suposed to be "just" our guide for the Maasai Mara safari but ended up being much more than that. He went above and beyond to make our whole visit to Kenya go smooth and without any hustle. The time we spent in Maasai Mara was simply magical. David made sure that we saw the whole big five as well as the big nine (including the famous Fast Five) and so much more. We spent 4 nights in Mara Serena which also added to the experience (beautiful place with super friendly staff and great view from every room). If you want to watch the most exciting animals from up close while listening to a fascinating commentary about how they live and much much more, ask for David. 6 stars out of 5. Thanks a lot pal! Travelling to maasai mara with Native Africa Trails is one of the best decisions I have ever made..
I have never seen a travel agency that goes beyond a clients expectations..it was our 1st time travelling with Native Africa n to maasai mara. woow..they r excellent in matters communication, time keeping n services..we had the best driver /tour guide mr Jackson maina..He made sure we saw the big fives before we saw any other animal.
He never minded the bad weather n our many questions..my kids loved him coz they had a special bond with him.David is another amazing person..making last minute bookings felt so easy,he gave us the best package.. a good hotel n the best guide..if i have to travel again trust me i will chose Native Africa trails

Only one word- perfect organisation
It was a very pleaseure, excellent and wunderful time with David, our driver, to make gamedrives in Masai Mara. He has a exellent knowllige about the african wildlife and tried to fullfill almost every wish.

Amazing Safari in Masai Mara with David
I spent 3 wonderful days with The guide David.
He came to pick me up at the airport and then we moved to Masai Mara (6 hours drive).
We stopped to have a typical lunch and the stay in Masai Mara was exceptional.
He is very flexible, He taught me a lot about the nature, the country, the culture.
I recommend you to him 200%.
The lodge was Fantastic (Serena).
We saw tons of animals, lions, leopard, giraffes, hippos, crocos.
We also saw lions hunting a gnou and killing him and the cab came to eat him. It was a fiction scene only seen in TV.
Thank you very much David, I will come back.
