Best 4 day Mount Meru Trek
Thanks to the entire team for an amazing Mount Meru Trek!
We were 3 friends and booked with Robert a 3 day Meru trek. I admit everything was easy from booking procedures to the tour. Our flight delayed a bit and caused us to change the dates, therefore departing the next day after the group we were to join has left ahead of us. Following Robert advice, we decided to cancelled the 3 day tour and took a 4 day Meru trek, which in turn was the best time frame for our Trek.
The guides and the cook did an amazing job, always ensuring we were ready for the next day of our Trek. Big up to the tough porters!
We recommend this company for Mount Meru trek, in fact we will plan and come back for Kilimanjaro!

Well organized, fast and easy to contact with
Because I only could stay in Arusha for 3 days, I perfered to do a 1 day safari. To organize this tour I had to look for an tour operator who could organize this for me. African Wanderlust Adventures gave me a quick answer and a correct quotation.
The communication was clear and appointments were correct.
They came to the hotel to pick me up and I had a wonderful day. The driver was a very careful and responsable driver. The knowledge about the animals in the park was very good. I only can say they are really reliable and you get value for money.

Wonderful Tanzania operator
African Wanderlust Adventures is a top-notch tour company. The communication between them was always prompt and thorough and polite. Their representative was knowledgeable and thorough and went above and beyond to make everything perfect for my tour. They customized my tour to Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater everything was perfect and more than what I expected. Communication and payment was always prompt and easy.
I recommend the agency in Tanzania Safaris!

Good safari
We had a 3 day safari in Tarangire, Ngorongo and Manyara lake and it was great. We saw lots of animals and Waldon (our driver) answered all our questions.
Food was also OK and accommodation in Kizumba camp was very nice, people there was very friendly and the tent was huge with a very comfortable bed.

Not bad not good experience
I expect to have a more authentic experience.
What we have was a really touristic one.
If you want the easy and touristic way you 'll enjoy it but I expected something closer to the nature.
You can see a lot of animals though.
Another really bad thing was that our driver made a lot of stops without any reason (even for 30 mins) and a lot of locals were coming to sell stuff.
They just want to "sell" you to the locals which is really shame and touristic thing.
I would never booked the same operator even if the guys were so kind and pretty willing to help.

Excellent 3 Day Mount Meru Trek
our three day Trek to Mount Meru with African Wanderlust was a memorable experience.
Everyone was very accommodating, friendly and assisted us through the entire trip. The meals were excellent and the trip wonderfully organised. The hike up to the summit is definitely not one of the easiest ones however the guides are very professional, taking good care of you and support you where they can. My husband faced some challenges during the summit night due to health problems, but the team assigned someone to ensure he safely reached the summit.
During briefing we noted to have missed some of the hiking gears but Robert rented to us for a friendly costs.
The service you get for the price is excellent and definitely worth the money. We are very grateful to have met you and to have shared lots of funny stories. Special thanks to the entire Trekking team.

Amazing and worth the money!
Robert and his team did a fantastic job in organising our 3-day safari. It was so well organised that we had zero waiting time and really got the maximum out of the money spent. Further, the safari guide was so welcoming, open for detailed talks & questions about the wildlife and was highly motivated to show us all of the animals in the Serengeti & Ngorongoro which in the end was the reason why we could see all of the Big 5.
Also, our Tour to the Materuni Waterfalls with Robert & the driver (Elvis) after the Safari was fantastic. Meeting the local people and making coffee with them was a unique experience! And of course the waterfall and the hike to it were really amazing. I’ve already seen some waterfalls in the world but this one was really special and so untouched. Highly recommended!
We highly recommend the team and are surely going to book again with Robert when we are heading for the summit of the Kilimanjaro :)

unforgettable experience
The tour was perfectly organized. Our guide was awesome -- takes his time to explain, answers questions and helped us take a number of memorable pictures. The meals also was great. I really recommend anyone to take this tour, really an unforgettable experience.

Good budget tour
It was a good trip. I really enjoyed climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. I felt nervous booking this trip because they are a small newer company but fortunately I didn't have to worry about anything. Communication was good, and even though I didn't have all the gear, my guide was able to work with me on getting what I need, and not try and upsell me on stuff I didn't. Over all it was a great trip, and I would recommend them for anybody who wants to climb Mt Kilimanjaro.
