Safari and trekking experiences!
I booked all my trips with Travel Africa Safari and had the best experience. Very professional and made your stay very special always being there making sure we were ok. I went on a 2 - day safari which was unforgettable. My guide Godfrey was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Ally was the driver, doing my transfers, a very good driver, friendly and made sure you were safe at all times. I had several day trips in and around Arusha, experienced the local life. I was looked after by guide James, who was extremely good, helpful and reliable and also made that little extra to make your adventure even better. I originally chose Travel Africa Safari for my Marangu trek due to their extremely efficient response to my queries and regular updates during the lead up to the trek and great value for money.
Upon arrival I received an excellent briefing before setting off on my individual trek with my guide Patrick and his crew. I had wondered about trekking alone rather than as a group, however due to the quick pace of the 5 day route, Patrick tailored everything to my individual needs and I’m sure this helped very much to my success and overall feeling of well being throughout my experience!
On such a trek there can always be highs and lows, however Patrick and his crew’s upbeat nature, excellent knowledge of the nature and terrain and attention to detail helped keep me motivated all the way to the summit - and back down again!
Would I choose to trek again with the same crew? Absolutely!

A truly exceptional tour operator
We had an incredible safari experience, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Mtinangi .
His ability to spot animals—even from a distance—was truly impressive. Thanks to his expertise, we were able to see the Big Five and so much more. He made sure we were always safe, comfortable, and in the best positions for viewing and photography.
We feel lucky to have had such a skilled and enthusiastic guide. He truly went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend him to anyone planning a safari.

Unforgettable 5-Day Safari with Mtinangi
We had an unforgettable 5-day safari with Mtinangi as our guide. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about wildlife. Thanks to his sharp tracking skills, we saw the Big Five and much more - often without the crowds.
Mtinangi made the whole experience smooth, safe, and enjoyable. He shared fascinating insights about animals, nature, and Tanzanian culture, and always made sure we were comfortable. The vehicle was clean and well-equipped.
Highly recommend Mtinangi if you're planning a safari - he truly made our trip exceptional.

The guides were excellent
Omary was a fantastic guide, he kept us entertained with jokes throughout and always made sure to get the best spot to see the animals. He was very accommodating to our wishes, making sure we had all the time we needed to take photos.
Helpful & Efficient
After reaching out to a few companies for quotes I ended up booking with this company. The reason I booked with them is because of how the interaction was with them from the start. They have excellent customer service. They made me feel welcomed to ask any questions, they were extrememly efficient and fast responding and they were super friendly! Most other companies made me feel like a number in a 'quotation line up' sort of thing.
So, I ended up booking a 4 day and 3 night budget safari in the Serengeti with them. Some weeks after booking I shared with them that my goal was to see the great migration. They went so above and beyond that they automatically switched me to a better tour that actually visits the north where the migration happens. THIS IS AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. And I am so happy to say I was lucky enough to witness the migration, and it was complete magic.
Our safari guide Nastory was also great. He was professional and friendly and timely. As well as the staff at all the overnight camps. They were unbelievably friendly and welcoming and someone was always around who spoke English. And lastly, the food! It absolutely exceeded my expectations throughout!

Small side note:
I will say the safari in the Serengeti itself kicked me in the butt a bit in terms of energy. Its full on days, significantly bumpy driving and large amounts of dust you're inhaling. Absolutely worth it -but I would have tried to prepare better for this. And now I know that, for me personally, 3-4 day safaris are the right amount of days for me at one go.

I'd like to start by saying that I am extremely satisfied with the African safari tour company we chose, especially with how our safari plan was arranged and presented to us before the holiday even began. I am very happy with our tour in terms of both price and performance. Furthermore, after arriving in Africa, the welcoming and accommodation ...we experienced no issues whatsoever with the welcoming and accommodation. The meals were quite good and standard, and beyond that, we were provided with and assisted with everything we requested. Most importantly ...and most importantly, I want to say that they are a tour company that immediately came to our aid whenever we had other problems.

Thank you for making our honeymoon unforgettable in the best way
This was the most wonderful time of our lives and it happened in 3 days. I will start this review by praising Philomena, who was very helpful in organizing our Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater adventure for our honeymoon. The communication was excellent, she helped us with all the information we needed and took care of the itinerary, the accommodations and made sure to cover all our requests. The accommodation she chose for us was way beyond our expectations and we had an amazing time in the camp. Then I want to express all the gratitude for having Aaron as our guide. He is a very passionate, experienced guide, a very good driver and a wonderful person. During our 3-day Safari, he showed us the most amazing animals: lions, lionesses, cheetah, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, hippos, wildebeest, buffalos, serval cat, gazelles, antilopes, impalas, leopards in the tree, all kinds of birds, warthogs, mangooses, dikdiks and more. We even got to witness some hunts of a lioness and a leopard (unsuccessful, but we had an amazing time watching how patient wild cats are). We expected to see 3-4 animals and our expectations have been “overly” exceeded. The car was in good condition, clean and drinks provided. Aaron told us interesting facts about the animals we encountered and we had cultural exchanges. We loved every minute of this experience and we recommend Travel Africa Safari Agency with all our heart. I don’t know enough words to say what these 3 days felts like thanks to these amazing people. Thank you so much. ❤️
Very attentive to the needs of our group and knowledgeable about the animals and parks!
Overall Travel Africa was amazing! They helped to get one of our members to us after flight troubles and continued to communicate with us throughout the whole process. Our guide, Kisamo, was very knowledgeable and answered our many, many questions we had. He made sure each day to ask what we wanted to see and he made sure we saw it. We were very lucky to have him as our guide! The camping was great, the cooks made delicious food everyday. One thing we didn’t think about was bringing snacks since this was not provided and we wished we had some during the longer game drives.

Good safari but organization could be better
I did 4 day tour (2 days in the Serengeti, 1 in Ngorongoro and 1 in Taragire). The first 3 were great and the wildlife and landscape amazing! The organization was lacking though and I wasn’t really told which order I was doing the tour and what to pack for which night (I wasn’t told to leave my stuff at the game lodge and we’ll come back to it later but later meant in the last night). Also the people in our car were staying in different venues meaning in the mornings we lost a lot of time waiting for them to be picked up. This is crucial especially with only limited windows in each park
