This Park is Absolutely Amazing Place
5/5

Me and my Partner travelled to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Junuary 2020 and we had a great experience with Frena Adventures.
We tracked a family of 15 Gorillas. which was quite difficult in some very rugged terrain but well worth it when you catch up to them. Just sitting and watching them makes you realize how close to humans they are. It was an absolutely amazing experience and well worth it.

Mesmerizing Journey to Uganda - Thanks to East African Jungle Safaris...
5/5

It was a great experience to be so close to nature and becomes more exciting as you have to "earn the experience" by all the efforts that a traveller puts in, which gives more satisfaction. My Kudos to each of the members who has involved to our trip and make the travel such an amazing experience. Should categorically state my thanks to Babylon who was a wonderful guide/driver and was a pleasure to interact with. Very good accommodation and Great food at most of the places.
Its a great place for anybody who is looking for a trip out of box and out of comfort zones but need a sense of accomplishment. Look forward very much to a return visit...

Amazing Lake- Bunyonyi !!
5/5

Visiting Lake Bunyonyi & staying at the Bunyonyi Safaris Resort was the best highlight of my 4 Days trip with Frena Adventures. Now I had understood why it's rated as one of the most beautiful lakes.

We had provided a guide who took us up a hile just behind the resort. We had some amazing views of the lake from that high angle - looking down at the various islands in the lake. We also had a 1-hour boat ride where the guide went explaining stories behind the many islands. We were assured that the lake is bilharzia free and it is the second deepest lake of Uganda, even some of in my group braved to have a swim in the chilly waters.

If you are in the Kabale region, I recommend it to check out this beautiful lake with its many islands. You won’t regret it.

Celebrate Birthday with Nature Adventure
5/5

We were a group of 5 people scheduled to enjoy my birthday weekend with nature drive and looking at gorillas, after having booked leave and paid for the permit months in advance. It was a remarkable experience. First off, there’s a very good reason they call in impenetrable, ensure never to get lost in there. You will never let to know which way is up, down or return without a guide, so the wonder of it all is something, the huge trees, the fog, the ever persistent rain. Also there are gorillas and some other primates and birds, which I must add are quite colorful. I was worried I’d not enjoy the experience because it was my first time in deep forest but met up with another group that morning and we trekked together it was fascinating, talking to people obviously so different at face value. Must add this to your life list. Not bucket list. Thanking to this great company for this amazing pleasure.

Relaxing boat trip and abundant wildlife
5/5

The Kazinga channel is having lots of fun in itself and a boat drive an absolute must during a stay in Queen Elisabeth NP. We were on a tour organized by Frena Adventures but I am not aware of the logistics of the boat trip, since it was organized for us and we just needed to show up.
We were lucky to also stay at the Bunyonyi Safaris Resort, just overlooking the lodge so the feeling is totally complete.
You can see buffalos, hippos, crocs, varieties of birds and elephants from literally 5 m away from the safety of your boat. Hippos are shy animal and would mostly submerge when a boat approaches, but juveniles and buffalos are less careful and you can see them very well.
My personal highlight during the tour was buffalos and hippos in one group just hanging out with each other.

AMAZING- MUST DO EXPERIENCE!!
5/5

We were here for a 4 days trip in January with a tour package from Frena Adventures. Having first stop at Bwindi and visited 2 or 3 families of gorillas, what an experience was that on day. The guides are amazing and you do not travel for very long as there are trackers out before you go to find the family. The rule is to stay 7 metres away from the gorillas but they come up to you. The pictures you can get of these creatures are amazing and the money you spend on seeing these creatures goes towards helping them stay alive in their natural area for as long as possible. We only spend an hour with the gorillas but It really is a must do expereince and one I would like do it again!

Gorillas are the highlight of course. Beautiful forrest and landscape
5/5

Loved loved loved our trip to Bwindi National Park. Seeing the magnificent mountain gorillas in their natural environment was breathtaking. A huge thank you to our guides and trackers who made this experience so fantastic and are doing such a great job in helping preserve these wonderful creatures.
As for many the gorillas were definitely the highlight on a trip to Uganda. The park itself lives up to its name, it is dense, beautiful forest. Our trek took about four hours up and about three hours down, hiking through dense jungle, swamps, up and downhill and was definitely tough but oh so worth it. Two guys were guiding the path with machetes. The difficulty we felt was more the track rather than physical exhaustion however some people suffered. But It was all rewarded when we found the gorillas. It was amazing how close you can get to them. These are very impressive animals, on the other side funny and playful. The way back was probably nicer as it was a permanent and well-maintained track, and offered some excellent views.
Overall, wonderful experience, can't wait to return one day.

Cruising on Murchison Falls
5/5

WE enjoyed our tour of slow cruise to the fall and back. This complete area is a host of wildlife, that provides opportunity to view the natural diversity. While cruising, on the way-out including hippos, elephants on shore, monkeys and bird life seems fantastic. The kingfishers are quite a sight to watch as they dive into the water for dinner. We had a good guide as well, who showed us all the sights and talked about them. Some of the visitors opted to disembark the ship and hike to the top of the falls. It looked like a long time for this and involved hike, so we decided to remain on the ship. The entire ride was amazing and comfortable. There is facility for snacks to purchase on the ship.

Incredible Experience
5/5

Our tour was planned with Frena Adventures for Murchison Falls. We took a boat cruise to the falls and along the way we got chance to saw many bird species and animals. We were so lucky that to see Elephants along the water edge. Our guide was very informative and pointed out a lots of things and species before we even spotted them. He was very informative about each animal or bird and told us very interesting facts about them. We even got a chance to see a group of young crocodiles about 30, swimming together inside the river. They were very young, must have been about 2 weeks old only!
After that we got off at the top of the river close to the falls to walk up to the top of the falls. It's not a strenuous walk but I would recommend you take lots of water with as you will need it. The views of the falls along this walk as spectacular. You also get an amazing view of the river from the top.
I highly recommend this trip and tour company if you are looking in the area. The falls are a must see for anyone.

It is the real heart of Africa
5/5

A visit to the Murchison Falls is a must if you are ever thinking about to visiting Uganda, even though it requires you to spend some night in the North. This was really a breathtaking experience and it is very hard to imagine the entire Victoria Nile, perhaps the most important river in the world, that flows through this tiny gap. The importance of the Nile River makes this one of the more important places on the African continent.
It was a 3 day tour and the visit takes complete day and it's worth every second. The guides on our side from Frena Adventures were very helpful and extremely friendly.
