Brilliant organization! 3-Day Serengeti/Ngorongoro Crater
Our Serengeti and Ngorongoro 3 days/2 nights safari was perfectly organized from the very beginning. Emmanuel immediately responded to our request, answered all questions, was flexible in terms of dates.
The safari itself was beyond expectations. Everything was included in the price (food, tents, transfer from / to Kilimanjaro airport, 2 nights in a nice hotel before and after safari, entrance to the national parks).
Professional driver Rocky knew where the animals were and told us a lot about each creature. Chef Salim prepared several delicious dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There were options for vegetarians.
We saw animals very close. Elephants and lions approached the car. Hyenas fought for food outside our tents in the camp. On the second night, wild buffalo and pumbas came to the camp. We saw thousands of zebras, wildebeest, huge birds, dozens of giraffes, elephants, hippos, lions, hyenas, jackals, buffalo, rhinos and many other animals, except for the leopard (next time ;)

Awesome, organisation was perfect!
We booked 3 days/2 nights and had a great time. We can only recommend the tour. We particularly liked the communication with the organizer. We were picked up from the airport and brought back again and stayed in a very good hotel for one night before and after the safari. We didn't expect that. We heard from other safari participants who booked through another agency that they had very bad hotels or had to pay $ 50 to upgrade.
The safari itself was very nice. The catering was impressive. There were always full warm meals that were very good. We felt very comfortable because everything was really taken care of.
We saw a lot of exotic animals and got great photos and videos.
We can recommend the tour and especially this provider to everyone.

7 night/8 day Lemosho Kilimanjaro
We feel so fortunate to have found Crater Explorer Tours And Safaris. We arrived in Arusha with plans to both climb Mt Kilimanjaro and do a safari. We interviewed several tour organizations and opted to go with Crater because of the confidence we felt in their representative Emanuel. He was professional, attentive and answered all our myriad questions.
We had a magical adventure. The crew that took us on our Kilimanjaro climb was fabulous. I’m not sure how it could have been better. Our guide, the chef and the porters were wonderful. They were fun. They were professional and surpassed all our expectations. Every time we arrived at camp, our tent was set up complete with covered alcove with table and chairs. Hot drinks and a snack were served straight away. Such a great way to end a big hike. Hot water for washing came next followed by the main meal. Speaking of food - we bought a bunch of snacks prior to leaving anticipating wanting to have something to snack on while hiking. We never got into it as they fed us remarkably well. Too well almost. There was always so much good food we feared putting weight on during the climb!
I would highly recommend Crater Explorer Tours And Safaris for all your adventurous needs in Tanzania. 5 Star for sure!

A brilliant and seamless experience
Our day trip to Kilimanjaro was organised entirely by Emmanuel who ensured everything was also rated for our day. We were picked up in Arusha and then taken to Kilimanjaro for a fantastic day of walking. Emmanuel and our guide took great care of us and I definitely would recommend them to anyone.

When you're looking for a trustworthy guy - Emmanuel is your guy!
I went through my storage drawer at home in Finland today and came across a business card from soon-to-be year ago that I thought I had lost. Better late than never, I just wanted to write review for Emmanuel! I did safari in Tanzania a year ago, not through Crater Explorer but another company. I was not aware of the Crater Explorer back then, found a company before my arrival to Arusha in Internet and went with them. If I am ever to go back to Tanzania now for another safari I would most definitely choose Crater Explorer! While spending several days in Arusha before and after my safari Emmanuel was my driver and he was always so eager to help me with whatever I needed. I learned from him that he owns his own safari company as well, Crater Explorer. I wish I had known that before my safari so I would have chosen them. While I unfortunately do not have safari experience with them I wholeheartedly do believe all these five-star-reviews I read about Crater Explorer here. If I ever will get to return I am most definitely going to use this company - and in the meanwhile I would like to recommend the most professional and kind, polite, fun to be around, caring and knowledgeable safari company owner Emmanuel and his company to you! The parks and animals are amazing, and this is the company you want to experience and explore them with!

My friends and I organized a trip with Emmanuel to Kilimanjaro and Materuni (Moshi region).
It was a great experience we met locals living in Materuni in the Moshi region we had a good local meal, we made coffee while singing I have very good memories.

A wonderful experience I will always cherish!
The trip was absolutely fabulous. From the great safaris with Abdul and Ibrahim (sleeping in tents in the Serengeti-tip: don't pitch your tent right at the Edge of camp. You might not have to worry about snoring Germans, but laughing hyenas are equally noisy ..)
Then we topped it all off by Emanuel spontaneously giving us a lift to Moshi to drop off prosthetic supplies at TATCOT.
DEFINITELY a five star experience!!

My girlfriend and I took the 3-day safari tour and went to Manyara Lake, Tarangire and Ngorongoro crater with super-guide Anwar, who drove us through these parks with amazing skills and great passion ! Communication before and between the day-trips was great and Emmanuel did always the best he could to help us in any way (taxi from and to the airport, in-between hotels, etc.) !
