Knowledgeable with knowledge
5/5

I went out on safari with knowledge and the deepest parts of the Kalahari.
his knowledge and skill to get to the right position for photographic safari is hands down the best.
He almost has a sense to know where the animal will be b&o is how to place the car car with the light behind you to get their much needed and sometimes once in a lifetime photograph

Knowledge is truly knowledgeable
5/5

Knowledge was a gracious host, guide, and friend during our safari. He lives up to his namesake, he was a fountain of information about the local flora and fauna, customs and traditions, cultures and people. Gentle and kind, thoughtful and also a little silly, like the fun older brother I never had, he made my wife and me feel like family.

If I were to go on another safari in that area, I would most definitely go with Francolin Redbilled and with Knowledge specifically.

Great Experience!
5/5

I had the great pleasure of spending several days in the Okavango delta and our tour guide was Knowledge. I tend to ask a lot of questions about animals and nature and I was quite pleased that Knowledge could answer all of my questions! He and the other guides took us on several walking safaris. We tracked lion prints for a pretty good distance but when we came to a river the shorter people on the tour didn’t want to try to cross. I really liked walking with nature and while I was a little nervous because it is Africa after all and there are lots of wild animals, Knowledge and his crew reassured us and kept us safe. I would welcome the opportunity to go back and spend more time with Knowledge in Africa.

Trip of a lifetime!!
5/5

My spouse and I stayed at a camp in the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Our primary guide was Knowledge. The accommodations were luxurious and the meals were fantastic. But most of all the demeanor attitude and understanding that Knowledge and his team had of the area the animals the culture and the country was amazing.

We took a walking Safari and saw lots of wildlife including baboons, warthogs, elephants and hippos. We traveled about in canoe like boats called mokoros.

We camped out overnight on an island. During the night we heard a lion walk through our camp. I was very scared. But then we heard Knowledge calling out to his other guides and then we knew it was all going to be OK. In the morning, they showed us the lion foot prints so close to our tents.

Knowledge and his guides took us to the small village where their wives and families lived while they were at work. We were given a tour and he explained how the huts were made. We were very warmly received by the families. They laid out all of their wares for us to purchase and sang songs to entertain us. I was quite touched by how open and welcoming the people Of Botswana were.

I highly recommend Knowledge and his team and would travel again with them for sure!

Wonderful once in a lifetime experience!!
5/5

In 2008, Knowledge led our big boisterous group of family and friends on an incredible 5 day journey in the Okavango Delta that we will remember forever. We took Mokoros through the delta as well as bush walks tracking animals on foot, and camped in the wilderness with him and the other guides who told us wonderful stories over the fire in the evenings. He taught us about the animals as well as local bush man culture and stories. His incredible knowledge and respect for the wilderness and nature made him the best tour guide we could have asked for - we had fun, learned so much, and felt safe the entire time. My family returned to Botswana in August 2019 and were fortunate to cross paths with Knowledge again and spend more time with him seeing wildlife and learning from him again and it was as wonderful as we remembered our first trip with him to be. I would recommend Knowledge and Francolin safaris to anyone visiting Botswana who wants to see incredible animals, learn about both the animals and the people’s culture in the area, and feel safe and have fun while doing it!
