Excellent; from start to finish!!!
Simply AMAZING!!! From the very beginning, Anna was so incredibly helpful with the whole planning process and was there to answer any questions at any time. Going into our trip, I felt very confident that everything would be planned and taken care of for us. Our guide, Salani, was the absolute best. We could not have asked for a better guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the land and wildlife and seemed to know almost everyone throughout the entire country of Botswana. We could tell we were in good hands from the very first day. He always seemed to know right where to go to get us in the right places at the right time to get the best views of the wildlife. And I definitely cannot go without complimenting our entire team: MP, KT and our bush chef, Nem. Some of the kindest and most helpful folks you could ever meet. And even after having to pack up camp, drive several hours on rough roads, and reset our camp in another location, they were there with a smile on their faces; ready to help with anything we could ask for. And Nem's cooking.. WOW!!! So yummy and exactly what we needed after long days on game drives. The animal sightings we had were out of this world and beyond what we thought we would see. The itinerary was perfect, from the locations, to the experiences (game drives, boat tours), and ending with a lovely lodge stay in Victoria Falls. It was all exactly what we wanted and expertly and carefully crafted by the wonderful people at Sekanka. I would not change a single thing about our tour and we all even said we would need to request our same team for the next time because they truly made everything so wonderful. In Salan, we trust! We would recommend this company to anyone looking to journey into the Okavango Delta and tell them, with 100% confidence, that they will have an amazing time!!

Reliable and helpful
Normally, I do not write reviews. However, Sekanka was exceptionally good and our expectations were more than fulfilled. We Sam lots of games, had more game drives than expected, good food and last not least a reasonable price. Ten out of ten points.

Fantastic organisation!
From day one, the communication with Anna was friendly, efficient and extremely helpful! She really went the extra mile to tailor the trip to what we wanted to do. She also helped out when we had a problem with our flight at the end of the trip.
The activities throughout the trip were excellent and provided a great range of experiences, from game drives to a scenic flight, canoe ride and meeting the meerkats!
The accommodation along the way was lovely, food was good and we were well taken care of. The transfers provided were safe and comfortable.
We had a great time on our safari trip and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sekanka Tours.

Traveling with locals
My 9 year old daughter and I just got back from a 5 Night Mobile Safari and absolutely loved it! 5 Lion Sightings, our Lion Count was 24! We also loved the boat trips. We had no rain (despite traveling end of the rainy season), hardly seen any other cars. Its been raw and wild and wonderful! We miss our bucket shower! We had one issue while traveling - which was immediately sorted out. Communication in general has been amazing.
The guide was great. The chef fantastic.
Thanks to the whole team that made this journey unforgettable! Vic Falls were also amazing! Just the perfect end to our travels. We will come back with the rest of the family!

Organised, helpful and unique.
We travelled as a group of 6 (four teenagers and 2 adults) from Maun, Botswana to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe over 11 days. From my first inquiry to our departure from the tour, Sekanka were incredible. Any requests or questions were handled promptly and professionally. We all loved every experience provided and it was so nice to meet and talk to different guides along the way. We cannot recommend Sekanka enough. If you are thinking of using them, do it, they will not disappoint, it was a truly magical experience from start to finish.

Great service!
We used Sekanka for our trip to Victoria Falls and Botswana! Before we left they were easy to reach and answered all our questions! During the trip the service were great! We got to see a lot of animals even though it was rainy season! Would definitely choose Sekanka again!

Our safari adventure with Sekanka Safari in November 2024 through the breathtaking Moremi Game Reserve, Okavango Delta, and Khwai Concession was truly an experience of a lifetime. This incredible journey was made exceptional by a dedicated team who ensured every moment was unforgettable.
Special thanks to our guide, Lenty, whose unmatched expertise, sharp instincts, and passion for Botswana’s wildlife turned every game drive into an extraordinary adventure. His knowledge and skill brought the wilderness to life in a way we’ll never forget.
The crew—Kelly, MP, and GT—were outstanding in their warmth and hospitality, ensuring we were always comfortable and well cared for. Our talented cook, Name, consistently impressed us with simple yet delicious meals, even in the heart of the wilderness.
One of the most memorable moments was the last evening around the campfire, filled with vibrant singing and dancing. The music and joy-filled moments brought us closer to the rich culture and spirit of the country, leaving us with cherished memories.
The second part of the journey was equally wonderful, as we checked into luxurious lodges (with Wilderness). The service was impeccable, and it was lovely to share the experience with other guests in these stunning accommodations - Camp Xakanaxa and Kwetsani Camp.
A special thanks to Anna for carefully crafting our itinerary and patiently guiding us through the planning process. Her willingness to jump on video calls to address our queries ensured we felt well-prepared and confident about the trip.

Note: For those considering mobile camping, be prepared for basic shower and sanitary facilities—they’re functional but may take some adjusting if you are used to modern comforts. Also, early November can bring occasional rainy days, so pack accordingly with raincoats and warm jackets to handle the changing weather.

A perfect trip in a wonderful land
I travel always with my family, the kids now are 14 and 17.
Our trip trough Zimbabwe and Botswana was a much desired and long awaited trip and with Sekanka Safaris we had the best partner for the organisation of this dreamed vacation.
