Experience of a lifetime along with 7* service
5/5

When we started planning our trip to Africa, we had enquired with quite a few operators - but Natural World Kenya Safaris stood out from the very beginning with quick responses, direct answers, ideas and suggestions but also an excellent price for a bespoke itinerary.

From the start, Esther communicated fast and efficiently with us over email. Our trip was tailored to perfection. For us this was a trip we have wanted to do for years so had to be perfect. Unlike other operators, Natural World Kenya Safaris listened to what we wanted and did not push other locations on to us, which would have been easier and more cost effective to the tour operator. I would highly recommend internal flights for all aspects if doing several reserves…it saves a lot of time and also allows you to do more game drives.

Our trip was a 6-day trip (2.5 days in Amboseli and 3.5 days in Masai Mara).

On the ground, we were assigned James as our guide/driver for the first part of the trip to Amboseli. He was good and tried to communicate with us even though he was not fluent in English. He had good knowledge of the animals also.

Our second driver was George; he picked us up from the airstrip in Masai Mara and immediately took us on a game drive. He noticed we only had one case and we explained that Kenya Airways had lost our luggage but were sending us it on the next flight. He wanted to make sure as knew their history and without us asking he phoned them to make sure, it turned out it wasn’t coming.

George then phoned the head office and asked Esther to support so it would not ruin our day. Within 24hrs, Esther had another employee called Prince to directly collect the luggage from Nairobi airport take it to Wilson airport and then fly it to us to the airstrip in Masai Mara!! Natural World Kenya Safaris paid for this service and did not even ask us for the money it cost them to do so for me this is going beyond any level of service!! Without them, I dread to think how long I would have been without my partner’s luggage. I cannot thank them enough for this!!

George has excellent knowledge of the game, the layout of Mara reserve, has excellent tracking and spotting are amazing…he had vision like a giraffe! Our Games drives were excellent – and more importantly let us have the time to see and do what we wanted without questioning! He went out of his way to make sure we would see everything on our drives Above all that, his personality, engaging attitude and more importantly his motivation made it a memorable trip for us even with what we experienced from Kenya Airways. He was the by far the best host we have experienced in our travels anywhere.

I cannot recommend Natural World Kenya Safaris for your trip to Kenya. Every single moment on the trip was memorable, and I would not hesitate to use them again should we return.

This was a 5 star service. Tour guide was on time for pick up and provided us an amazing safari. We were at Amboselli Park and then visited a maasai villlage. Guide was very professional and cordial all the time. I truly recommend this company. Not to mention that breakfast and lunch included in the price were at these amazing lodges and food selection was humengous.

Far beyond our expectations!
5/5

Congratulations to Humphrey and his excellent team. Thanks to their experience and quality of service we had an extraordinary journey over 9 days and estimated 2.000 km on and off the road. All was well organised. With Patrick, far beyond a driver guide and more a very very capable man with a vast experience on the road and for the wildlife, we considered very lucky to see so many of the beautiful wildlife in Kenya. In Masai Mara we saw the "Big Five" within 3 hours. And we did not only spot 1 or 2 of these impressive animals during our 1 1/2 day. No, we saw more than 20 lions at once , 8 cheetahs ( 5 at once), 100 or more elephants. We saw 2 Leopards (one eating a zebra high on a tree) and countless Zebras and Impalas. During our trip through different National Parks we got the impression that it was Patricks experience and his own passion for wildlife which gave us the chance to see so many of Kenya' wildlife. Hotel Standard is very high, food was really excellent and on top of everything, Kenyan People are extremeley friendly and self confident. An mixture which makes them very amicable. For a a better understanding for Kenya I definitely recommend to go to Kenya and get an first hand impression of this vibrant country. It will help to change opinion and prejudice.

A flawless experience - top notch service, accommodation and food at a fair price
5/5

My fiancée and I had a great safari to Hell's Gate, Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru with Natural World in January 2018. The service was superb from start to finish. Our communication with Humphrey prior to the tour was great and they catered to all of our requests (including an airport pickup) for a very reasonable price. Our driver, Bonnie, was brilliant: he was knowledgable, great at spotting things and friendly without ever being intrusive (the excellent English goes without saying, as everyone at this company speaks English very fluently). Despite a tight schedule, we managed to fit everything in without ever really feeling rushed.

The trip was so great that we then booked again with Natural World for our day trip around Nairobi to the National Park, Giraffe Centre and Elephant Santuary. George, who took us on this trip, was excellent as well.

The first trip was in a safari minivan, which was much more comfortable and well equipped than we were expecting. They had just fitted new tyres to the van, which is a good sign as you do see some safari vehicles with ancient, worn out tyres, but Natural World clearly take this seriously. Our day trip was in a one year old 4x4, complete with wifi, charging points and pop-up roof which was amazing!

Natural World also has a good partnership with Sopa Lodges, where we stayed in Nakuru and ate in Naivasha - the food and the accommodation was excellent in both.

We're already thinking about bringing our parents back to Kenya for a safari, and if we do we won't hesitate to book with Natural World again.

A wonderful trip and an amazing company
5/5

I will try and keep this review as short and concise as possible but its quite difficult because all I want to do is rave about Natural World Kenya Safaris.
We arrived home two days ago and it was by far the best trip I've ever been on... and I travel quite a lot.

My flatmate and I booked to go on a 9 day trip and upgraded to the 4x4 vehicle which I would definitely recommend. The more "van" like vehicles got stuck in the mud at Masai Mara where it is quite muddy so I would 100% recommend the 4x4.

Faith came to meet us from our hotel in the morning and introduced us to our driver Sisto. We were meant to have Philip but he was ill and we are so glad that Sisto was our driver (even though I'm sure Philip would have been wonderful too).

We drove from Nairobi to Amboseli and Sisto pointed out animals on the way and gave us facts. We pulled up on the side of the motorway...wondered why and Sisto showed us a giraffe which came up to about 3m from the car!

We arrived in Amboseli at the beautiful Sopa lodge and were treated so wonderfully. The lodges are beautiful, but make sure you take mosquito spray! There are mosquito nets at every lodge and the staff prepare them before bed for you and make sure theres no mosquitos inside which was a nice touch.

Amboseli is a beautiful park and we stayed there fore two nights. We saw lions and cheetahs on our first day and were so excited. Sisto really took the time to listen to which animals we were most interested in and find them for us.

From Amboseli we moved to Lake Naivasha which was even nicer (in terms of rooms). We were right by the lake and the hippos feed on the grass outside your room at night (they're dangerous so you have to be accompanied to and from dinner by security).

The food at both of these lodges was wonderful. Four courses with so much variety (and incredible Indian vegetarian food - which I recommend).

We went on the boat ride on the lake when we arrived and decided to do the Hells Gate walk the following day. I would suggest doing this as it is best to do the Hells Gate walk in the morning when more animals are out. It is too hot for them in the afternoon.

We saw so many hippos and birds on the boat ride and then the next day we went to Hells Gate National Park. We decided to walk (rather than cycle) and did a 10 mile walk with the park nearly completely to ourselves. We were so close to zebras and giraffes and I had a wonderful birthday there. This was my favourite thing we did on the whole trip and our guide Charles was really great.

We then drove to Lake Nakuru which was the most beautiful lodge yet. It was absolutely gorgeous and Sisto had told them it was my birthday so they put wine and flowers in my room and made me a huge cake! I was so touched and it was so sweet of Sisto to do.

We also had a safari here where we got to see Rhinos.

Our next stop was Masai Mara. The lodge was probably the most basic of the four, but had the most atmosphere as it was busier. The other lodges had all been very quiet (which was lovely) but there were more people at Masia Mara and the rooms weren't as nice. The Game Drives made up for it though. Safari is so exhausting that at the end of the day you don't really mind if your room has an amazing view or not. The Masai Mara Reserve is SO green and is teaming with wildlife. Sisto knew we really wanted to see a leopard and he spent about three hours trying to find us one which was so kind. Overall on the trip we saw 1 leopard, 10 cheetahs and 31 lions (including two sets of cubs) It was magical.

The staff at Masai Mara also put wine and flowers in our room for my flatmates birthday (two days after mine) and it was a very nice touch.

In terms of actual safari, I don't know how you could beat the trip we went on. We visited lots of different parks and therefore got to see lots of different wildlife. Amboseli had hundreds of elephants and then Masai Mara had lots of lions. It was nice to have a mix.

On our final day we had quite a long time before we had to head to the airport so Sisto took us to a giraffe sanctuary which was 10dollars and very resonable. It was lovely to have an all inclusive trip and not have to worry about money the whole time (apart from this one occasion). I would take money to tip your driver though. We gave our driver 50pounds each (so 100pounds total) and he was worth much more. We based that amount off other recommendations, so I would recommend taking Kenyan Shillings for that and maybe a thank you card. We ended up making him one on the last day as we hadn't thought ahead.

I could rave about this trip for hours, but I will leave it here. It was wonderful and I can't recommend them enough.

Amazing Safari with a great guide and very nice lodge accommodations.
5/5

The booking process was easy but payment was a little more difficult however Duncan at Natural World Safaris walked me through it. Julian our safari guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to answer every question we had throughout the entire safari on all topics including the local culture, the Geographic region and the animals. Thanks to Julian our safari experience was unforgetable and one we will remember for the rest of our life!

Excellent, professionally organized tour.
5/5

Impressions are wonderful.
The level of service is the highest.
Heads of the company are very concerned about customers.
Several times they called from the central office, asked whether everything was in order and whether everything was fine.
At the end of the trip, when we were already brought to the hotel in Nairobi, the driver called the central office and asked us to personally report that we are OK.
The vehicle was not new, but in good technical condition.
The driver, Peter, is very attentive to us, and drives carefully.
I tried to show the maximum number of animals.
He has been driving tourists for safari for 30 years, but despite this work he is obviously not bored, it is relevant to the soul, it is pleasant to communicate with such a person.
Services do not impose.
"Do you want to see the Masai village, but you have to pay for every step?" - "We do not want to" - Ok, once I proposed everything.
The travel schedule is very well thought out and very clearly implemented.
We thought that we would get tired, but we were not tired at all.
Camps and lodges we chose when booking completely corresponded to the description (Satao and Serena) Particularly impressed by the camp of Satao, where a herd of impala was sleeping on the territory.
