Super Safari Experience
Thank you Connect African Safaris for providing me with total excellent customer service during my 2 week safari tour in Tanzania. The communication and service you provided me was high class and I enjoyed the adventure of the customised private tour you delivered to me visiting the Ngorongoro conservation area and Lake Manyara national park.
I also got to have a few peaceful and relaxing days in Zanzibar. Overall my holiday from start to finish was amazing, as you took care off all the finer details to make my holiday stress free, I would highly recommend Connect African Safari to all customers looking for a quality holiday experience in Tanzania no matter your budget.

3 Day Short Exciting Tanzania Safari
We had an extraordinary experience with connect African Safaris. At first we were hesitant to take this trip due to weather forecasting that it will rain but Sheikha convinced us to do so. We planned for a short time and we just decided to go to Africa!
The day started well because Msago, our tour guide was very early to pick us from our hotel. We had a discussion at the hotel lounge and he was very keen to know what animals we wanted to see and our overall expectation. We had some good laughs and thorough discussion on different aspects of wildlife because John and I adore animals. The lodges where we stayed were fantastic and so was the food. Msago had dinner with us the first night and we really loved the conversations. We are super proud that we booked with Connect African Safaris and are happy to recommend other travels to the team at Connect – Sheikha, Msago, Omar, and Hashim

What a lovely trip in the bush of Africa’s most authentic National Parks!
We had a great time with Msago, our tour guide and Hashim our driver. He knew where we can spot each animal and was very humble and e accepted whatever we asked in terms of directions and animals to look for. He was very flexible and knowledgeable of every route in the park. I Loved where we stayed, the lodge is clean and spacious but affordable also, and the food and drinks were good and the people charming. Thank you Connect African Safaris. Thank you Sheikha for planning this trip with us and thank you for coming to the airport and constantly checking on us over the phone every evening.

From the moment we first made contact with them they made us feel important. They were patient and flexible with all the changes we kept making. Through the preparation, planning and during the trip they put our wishes and needs first, their focus was on giving us the best possible safari experience. My partner had mobility challenges when we arrived and our driver and guide was caring, attentive and helpful. Their service exceeded our expectations again and again. Connect African Safaris reached out to us immediately. Halima, our tour operator, was wonderful. Very helpful in answering our questions before and during our safari. Our driver, Mr Moody, was very nice, funny, and full of interesting facts about the animals. Accommodations at Camp Bastian were very nice, and we were treated well by the staff. Food provided was good. Great experience for the price. Saw lots of animals - unfortunately we did not get to see a pride of lions, although on the first day we did see four sleeping female lions.

Well organised
Tour was well organised and communication was constant from bookings period, during the tour and even after return in Dar.
The Nyerere tented camp was good. Pretty new and comfortable. The food and service was good as well. Knowing it was the short raining season (but this time with heavy rains) we had a good time.

The safari tour was really well organized, everything has been taken care of: game drives, accomodations, food. We did a private safari and our driver did everything according to our wishes and needs. We saw amazing animals from super close, had nice lunch in the nature and we also liked staying at Camp Bastian: It was clean and the food was delicious. We would highly reccomend Connect African Safaris to anyone!

Competent, professional and trustworthy tour operator
We would like to thank Halima for organising our tour so well. She was with us all the way from contacting us through the booking process and even on the trip, making sure we were comfortable and able to enjoy the safari to the full. Very eager to fulfil all wishes and well organised.
We were very happy with our trip and were glad we booked with Connect African Safaris. They were very helpful and looked to tailor everything to us beforehand, making the programme just the way we wanted it. They even picked us up directly from the airport and then brought us back to the ferry as well and helped us with organisations for tickets! 2 small things that could be improved are: We were already picked up from the airport with the car for the safari (because we landed very late and drove directly to the national park). Unfortunately, the car did not have air conditioning and was not too comfortable - this could perhaps be arranged differently. And it would have been great to have a guide with us who could also explain some of the surroundings, the country etc. Otherwise, I can only say it was TOP - our driver knew his way around Mikumi National Park, we saw a lot of animals and very close to them, and our accommodation was clean and nice.
We can only recommend Connect African Safaris!

Honest, reliable, and committed to providing a decent service.
Omar, the owner of Connect African Safaris really gives the personal touch. From being in constant contact over Whatsapp, accepting payment via the secure DPO payment method, and even meeting in person after the safari wanting to find improvements/weaknesses in his tours, Omar really cares. He provided Moody (Mohammed) as our driver, who himself is a never ending driving machine! Also very knowledgeable and takes you into the deepest corners to find the animals, even when they're in their hiding spots.
I would highly recommend Omar and Connect African Safaris.
