They consistently showed extraordinary responsiveness, care and service. World class.
From the moment we first made contact with them they made us feel important. They were patient and flexible with all the changes we kept making. Through the preparation, planning and during the trip they put our wishes and needs first, their focus was on giving us the best possible safari experience. My partner had mobility challenges when we arrived and our driver and guide was caring, attentive and helpful. Their service exceeded our expectations again and again. Omar was the person we dealt with and his service levels were exceptional. We travel a lot and have never experienced anything quite like this level of personalisation and caring. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Connect African Safaris reached out to us immediately. Halima, our tour operator, was wonderful. Very helpful in answering our questions before and during our safari. Our driver, Mr Moody, was very nice, funny, and full of interesting facts about the animals. Accommodations at Camp Bastian were very nice, and we were treated well by the staff. Food provided was good. Great experience for the price. Saw lots of animals - unfortunately we did not get to see a pride of lions, although on the first day we did see four sleeping female lions.

Super great organized safari! The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. Would def reccomend
The safari tour was really well organized, everything has been taken care of: game drives, accomodations, food. We did a private safari and our driver did everything according to our wishes and needs. We saw amazing animals from super close, had nice lunch in the nature and we also liked staying at Camp Bastian: It was clean and the food was delicious. We would highly reccomend Connect African Safaris to anyone!

Competent, professional and trustworthy tour operator
We would like to thank Halima for organising our tour so well. She was with us all the way from contacting us through the booking process and even on the trip, making sure we were comfortable and able to enjoy the safari to the full. She was always attentive, professional and extremely welcoming. I'm sure the other staff at Connected African Safaris are also very good, but we can highly recommend Halima. Very eager to fulfil all wishes and well organised.
We were very happy with our trip and were glad we booked with Connect African Safaris. They were very helpful and looked to tailor everything to us beforehand, making the programme just the way we wanted it. They even picked us up directly from the airport and then brought us back to the ferry as well and helped us with organisations for tickets! 2 small things that could be improved are: We were already picked up from the airport with the car for the safari (because we landed very late and drove directly to the national park). Unfortunately, the car did not have air conditioning and was not too comfortable - this could perhaps be arranged differently. And it would have been great to have a guide with us who could also explain some of the surroundings, the country etc. Otherwise, I can only say it was TOP - our driver knew his way around Mikumi National Park, we saw a lot of animals and very close to them, and our accommodation was clean and nice.
We can only recommend Connect African Safaris!

Honest, reliable, and committed to providing a decent service.
Omar, the owner of Connect African Safaris really gives the personal touch. From being in constant contact over Whatsapp, accepting payment via the secure DPO payment method, and even meeting in person after the safari wanting to find improvements/weaknesses in his tours, Omar really cares. He provided Moody (Mohammed) as our driver, who himself is a never ending driving machine! Also very knowledgeable and takes you into the deepest corners to find the animals, even when they're in their hiding spots.
I would highly recommend Omar and Connect African Safaris.

memorable Safari
It was amazing for my family to do a safari with Connect Africa. Sheryl was attentive to our request and organized the safari based on our requirements.
We had an experienced driver and guide for the safari and were lucky to see several animals (more than 20 lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos and others). We had the privilege to see lions hunt. The hotel (Bastian) was perfect, with delicious food.
Thanks a lot to Sheryl and the team for this gift to my daughter, who has seen her favourite animal (Lion).
Sheryl connected us with Juma, a guide in Zanzibar, another professional who organized a perfect tour for us.
We come home with memorable souvenirs, and I will recommend Connect Safari and Juma to others without hesitation.

My first safari
It was my first safari and it was an awesome experience. We saw a lot of animals and our tour guide Francis was really knowledgeable about animals and the history. On the last day he even tracked down a bunch of lions

Unforgettable and enchanting experience!
My husband and I decided to Celebrate our 10-year anniversary with a Safari, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our Safari guide was amazing we saw all the animals we wanted to see. We also told him we saw elephants at the zoo on one of our first dates, so he always made sure to stop where there were elephants because of how special they were to us!
Sheryl was also amazing to work with, we had some issues with our time off from work but she created an itinerary that worked for us. She went above and beyond because all the lodges and places we stayed were amazing! They had beautiful views and it always at a perfect location to relax after a day out with all the animals.
I would highly recommend it! We are hoping to take our daughters next time we go and will definitely come back to Connect

We had an AMAZING time with Connect African Safaris! Everything from communications with Sheryl in creating our itinerary to the week itself with our guide, Boniface was smooth, easy, and beyond expectations. Sheryl was able to accommodate two couples with two different departure dates and made for great experiences and an extra special walking safari for the couple staying a bit longer. The safari itself was superb - all of our lodge stays were exceptional, extremely welcoming, clean and the food was excellent. Our tour guide, Boniface, was extremely knowledgeable, reliable, and helped us see so many animals in just a few days! We could not recommend Connect African Safaris enough.
