Dishonest company
Don’t book any service through this tour operator. In our experience, we felt scammed — they took our money and did not follow the agreed itinerary. Afterwards, they stopped responding and left us stranded. They kept saying ‘Hakuna Matata,’ which, in hindsight, felt misleading and dismissive.

A long-awaited vacation completely ruined! Be wary of Obed Ngunda (the owner), he'll just rip you off!
He changed our hotels, which we booked and paid for months in advance, without a word. He sent us from a 4-star all-inclusive to a 2-star hotel with no meals. Problems every day, and he stops responding when there are problems.
He promised a refund, and now he's not responding anymore!! Leave this company alone!!!

I spent 4760€ 3 days for 2 pax of safari and the other 6 days in Zanzibar, of all the hotels that were put on my itinerary only one respected, all the others cheap and not all-inclusive as he had put me in the itinerary. Additional extra uncalculated expenses and vacation 200% ruined

Fantastic experience
We had an amazing 3 night safari in Mikumi National Park with Obag. Our guide Paschale looked after visitors so well from start to finish. The safari itself was fantastic amd we saw an unexpected number and range of animals. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teens and we loved it from start to finish. The price was also extremely competitive.

It was a great experience from all points of view!
We had 3 amazing days in Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Nicholas, who was always very kind and gave us many interesting explanations on the animals we saw and the beautiful landscape we crossed by car. The accomodation was pleasant, the food delicious and the car very comfortable and perfect to have a 360° view. Much recommended!

Great experience!
What a great experience. We was looked after really well and all of our wants were met. Obed and Moody went the extra mile to make sure we were all happy all of the time. Obed has a lot of knowledge of the Safari and really understood the pace of the day. We went to Selous and Julius Nyerere National Park. Moody's driving skills were great and took us through the bumpy road as smooth as possible. We had a lot of laughs and gained a lot of knowledge with great people. Not only did we learn about Safari, we also learned about Tanzania culture and the way of life.
The river boat cruise along Rafiji River was timed perfectly for sun set. On the game drive we see way more animals than anticipated. We will definitely be using Obag Africa Safari again.

Perfectly organised, with friendly and knowledgeable staff, would 100% recommend!
The Safari was well organised and Obag communicated well with me from the start via WhatsApp which made it so easy.
Our guide and driver were so lovely, kind friendly and reliable which made the tour even better.
The Safari itself was amazing, we got to see Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras, Monkeys, Baboons, some lions from a distance, Impalas, Hippos, Warthogs and Wildebeest.
The guide and driver will do all the can to try and find as many animals as possible.
We stayed at Camp Bastian Mikumi which was 10/10, a cosy lodge with great food.
We definitely think it is worth the money and would recommend Obag to anyone. We just wish we did it for longer than one night as I think we would've seen even more!
