Communicative
Safari by Z with Gladness as our (two sisters in their 20s) agent and Fadhili as our guide was great value for our money, very communicative and pleasant. We felt safe and cared for throughout the trip. Fadhili went above his duties as a guide to ensure we saw all the animals and got the photos/videos we wanted. We were able to capture some amazing photos/videos of the animals. He was very positive, flexible and easy to talk to throughout the trip. We did 1 day Tarangire, 2 days Serengeti, 1 day Ngorongoro, 1 day lake Manyara plus 4 days in Zanzibar all organized by Gladness. I would recommend 4-5 days to see all the major animals and I would skip Lake Manyara next time because we only saw monkeys and a couple of elephants (no flamingos at Lake Manyara but we saw them at Ngongoro crater, as it was not the time to see the flamingos). They had told us we would see about 100 flamingos at Lake Manyara but we did not - do your homework before you confirm any itinerary… also make sure you do not bring or accept American bills before 2006 because Tanzania does not accept these bills. We were also only told once in Tanzania that it is recommended to tip the driver 25-30 usd/per person per day. We were told we don’t need to tip the lodge people but we have a few dollars anyway in their tip box. Overall I would recommend Fadhili and Safari by Z but make sure to do your homework to get the safari you are looking for and double check all the expenses before confirming booking with them.
Amazing Experience by Safari by Z
Everything was amazing! We met LeMoMo after collecting our luggage at the airport and was on full adventure mode! Tarangire, NGOrongoro, and Serengeti were our destination made incredible by our awesome guide- Lemomo. He is knowledgeable and well versed on the land, animals and culture as he is a local. My gf and me checked off the Big 5 in less than 48hrs. We were up close and personal to so many animals, even a pride of lions enjoying their kill- this was beyond exciting and unnerving for me to be so close and always felt safe. Our
National Geographic experience narrated by the best Safari guide. His customer service and care is exemplary- I am beyond grateful. I plan on returning with my children and will be requesting Lemomo as our guide- I absolutely do not want anyone else.

unforgettable experience
A very unforgettable experience, I felt caring from the beginning to the end. We saw a lot of animals along the way, including basically all the animals we can see, even black rhinos, which are very rare.
We have to mention our good guide, Lemomo. He is very professional and attentive. His driving skills are also top-notch, and his ability to find animals is also top-notch. He can find animals several kilometers away, but we can only use binoculars. We chatted a lot along the way, which made the time on the road less boring. If you choose their company, you are right to find him.
At the same time, Happiness's service is also very considerate. She has been patiently answering my questions. Due to the adjustment in the number of people, we have been communicating repeatedly for half a month. She is not bored and has been helping me adjust my plan and quotation. We had the best experience ever with Safari by Z. We are so glad we booked our Safari via Z. Great value for money. Please do not hesitate to book via Z, because the other bigger tour operators will have full trucks and drive less safe. Everything was perfectly arranged and combined with our stay at the Z hotel we got the full Tanzania and Zanzibar experience. Together with our driver Lemomo we had a private safari through the Tarangire, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater. We saw all the beautiful animals and spotted the big 5! Lemomo is the best driver we could ever imagine. He knows all about the animals, the culture and is very polite, kind and funny. We couldn’t wish for more! I would highly recommend booking via Z. The complete safari package
After a lovely week on Zbar at Z Hotel me and the wife quite impulsively booked a 4 day safari via Happy at Safari by Z booking. She was a great help in arranging everything. We compared it with quite a three other tour operators on safaribookings.com, but Safari by Z delivered a tailor made safari package to a lower cost than the other options. I am very glad we went with Z. We have been on safaris in SA, Kenya and Tanzania before, so we have plenty of previous experience to compare the Z experience with. They flew us directly to Seronera in the middle of Serengeti, as requested, and we made our way back through N'dutu with the great migration, and ended up at Ngorongoro. We saw 2 week old lion cubs and a cheetah hunting down a fresh kill, as well as everything else we hoped for. All this is mainly due to our excellent safari guide Fadhili. He knows everything there is to know on the savannah. In addition he seems to know everyone on the savannah as well, and everyone knows and likes Fadhili. I can see why everyone likes him. He is knowledgeable, polite, trustworthy, funny and an excellent driver and guide. After a short week with him I am proud to call him a friend. And he drives the Safari by Z Landrover Defender. Going on a safari is not cheap, nor should it be. But If you decide to go, go with Fadi and Z, and be the kings and queens of the savannah in your own Defender expertly guided by Fadhili.

So perfect and lifetime adventure WE had on our honeymoon. 5 nights/6 days IS so perfect, no rush, our guide Isaya was so nice and here for us. We saw the big five, and enjoyed beautiful and very variate landscapes over Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire.

Tarangire and Ngorongoro at its best
We booked a 4 day Safari and discovered the Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Lake Manyara. We had such a wonderful time with amazing, breathtaking views of Tanzanias wildlife and landscapes. A heartfelt thanks to our guide Lemomo, who didn‘t only show us the secrets of nature but gave us a deep insight into the the Massai history and culture as well.

Highly recommended
It was our honeymoon. We did the 5 day tarangire, serengeti and ngorongoro safari. We went with two wonderful guides. The Spanish translator Justin and the driver Lemomo. The two good friends, always looking out for us. Good explanation of the parks and the Maasai culture. Very careful with the luggage and with our things. Every day the car cleaned and collected. Very punctual. They adapt to our preferences. Very friendly and polite. Totally recommended, we would repeat with them. From now on we are rafiki. Thank you very much!!!!!

Fantastic Safari Experience
I had my first safari experience through Safari by Z and it was the best way to be introduced. Our guide, Lemomo was extremely informative, savvy, and personable. We got to see every corner of the Serengeti with no question unanswered and expert navigation of the parks. Very easy to coordinate the aspects of each day with great recommendations for changes to the original schedule for better viewing experience or working around inclement weather. Would book again.

Good company bit car had issues and started safaris late each day
I went on a safari with them in November 2022 and overall the experience was really good, but I didn't find it as amazing as everyone writes in the comments. First, the driver wasn't the friendliest and we started our days much later than I had been told (8 am leaving time from the camp where it should have been 6 am for example). The car had issues and broke down on the way back.
I feel like a lot of tour providers are out there and you need to get a bit lucky as well, but don't think spending more will automatically mean better quality.
