More Than a Safari – Arnold Makes the Difference
5/5

We consciously chose Major Treks and Safaris to support a local provider. From the very first message, Arnold, who runs the organization, impressed us with his professionalism, personal attention, and very friendly communication. Payment through a secure link went smoothly, immediately giving us confidence and trust in the whole process.

Every detail of our three-day private safari was perfectly arranged: hotel pick-up, reliable flights from Zanzibar, comfortable lodges, excellent food, and a fantastic guide, Ahadi, who made every wildlife encounter memorable. Cold drinks were always available in the vehicle, adding extra comfort and enjoyment.

What truly stood out was Arnold’s personal care. He checked in during the safari to see if we had any requests, a thoughtful and meaningful gesture that made us feel genuinely looked after. Even after the last day, he followed up to make sure everything had met our expectations, showing that his attention and dedication to his guests does not end when the experience ends. It is rare to see someone put so much thought into every aspect of a safari experience.

Arnold’s attentiveness, friendliness, and genuine care made this trip unforgettable. This safari will always hold a very special place in our hearts.
Thank you, Arnold, for making this safari such a memorable experience.

Reliable and professional

We booked a two-day safari with Major Treks. We communicated with them months in advance via WhatsApp and had a good rapport. We received a detailed quote and accepted the offer.

A month before our arrival, we received our domestic flight tickets from Zanzibar to the mainland.

Everything was perfectly arranged, and we had an unforgettable two days. The first day was spent in Tarangire National Park and the second day in the Ngorongoro Crater. It was amazing to experience, and we saw so many animals!

Keep in mind that you'll spend a lot of time driving to the parks, and at the Ngorongoro Crater, you'll think you've arrived, but then it's a 45-minute drive down into the crater.

Best experience in my life, Thanks to the Major Treks and Safaris Company!!
5/5

Arnold, Luis and their team are incredible people!! They conduced our group through a total immersion in Tanzania culture, people and animals. We visited Arusha, we hiked down the slopes of Kilimanjaro to a magnificent waterfall. We visited a coffee plantation and learned how the coffee is harvested and processed. Afterward, we traveled to the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, where we had the opportunity to see lions, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, wildebeest, buffalo, zebras, and many more. Their safari guides have an exceptional instinct for spotting animals. We had the wonderful experience of sleeping in a tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti, listening to the sounds of the animals in the distance at night. Later, we visited the Datoga and Hadzabe tribes, and we were completely blown away and moved. Most importantly, this company will make you feel like part of a family. Everybody is sooo friendly and honest. They will help you with everything, answer all your questions, and make your trip to Tanzania the best trip of your life.

Perfect
5/5

Our trip to Tanzania was simply unforgettable. And we owe a large part of that experience to Luis.

From the very first moment, he conveyed a sense of calm, professionalism, and a profound respect for nature. He wasn't just our guide: he helped us understand what we were seeing, to read the landscape, to understand the animals' behavior, and to experience every moment intensely.

One of the most exciting moments was when we saw the lionesses with their cubs. Luis knew exactly where to place us, at the perfect time, always maintaining a respectful distance. It was a magical, authentic scene, impossible to forget. Without his experience and knowledge, we probably wouldn't have experienced it that way.

His organization is impeccable, his team is perfectly coordinated, and it's clear they work with passion. Every detail is taken care of: the timing, the routes, the safety, and, above all, the traveler's experience.

If anyone is thinking about going on a safari in Tanzania, I can't recommend a better option than going with Luis and his team. They don't just organize a trip; they create a transformative experience.

Thank you so much.

Professionalism
5/5

I took the safari in Spanish and it was incredible. Being able to communicate in your language and have them explain everything you're seeing and fully understand it is wonderful. I loved it because we didn't just go to the parks but also saw the culture of some tribes and the city. The coffee experience had a profound impact on the entire group because it felt very authentic. It's true that when it comes to seeing animals you have to be lucky, but the experience of the guides and drivers goes a long way. An unforgettable trip. I would definitely repeat it, and I would go with Major Treks and Safari because they gave us a lot of security and had incredible organization. You're the best.

It was an incredible experience; we had a great time. We went on our honeymoon. The views were amazing, the landscapes, the culture shock, the animals—being so close to them was incredibly exciting. The guide was the best! We definitely recommend him 100%.

An essential, unrepeatable trip. A unique life experience.
5/5

A spectacular, immersive experience with a Spanish guide who is intimately familiar with Tanzanian culture and society. Incredible safaris with a route that makes the most of your stay. In our case, we visited other lesser-known tribes off the beaten path: the Datoga and Ahzabe.
