Amazing adventure
5/5

First of all we want to thank our guides Francis Karika and Patrick. Traveling around Kenya for just over a week with Francis in the safari beast was like traveling with a friend who knew his job well.
He provided us with great insights into the Kenyan animals behaviour and we saw most of them close up, including some mating. We also watched lions etc eating their prey.
The whole tour was well organised and we would recommend it to anybody.
The accommodations were good as was the viewing from the 4WD.

Incredible service , Sam and Tony are the best!
5/5

My wife and I just returned home from a 2 week Safari and had an awesome time! Sam and Tony were our groups drivers and really added that personal touch along with their expert driving skills and unlimited knowledge and smiles! We really couldn’t ask for more. They kept their land cruisers clean and really made the animal sightings with their extensive knowledge! Simply the best!
Thank you to everyone at Real Africa !

The review below is the personal opinion of Hugh and not that of SafariBookings.
Wasted to much time due to bad planning, had up to 10 hours driving between destinations.
3/5

Pick up was good, staff who we meet helpful and vechicals OK. This is were it stops! The office staff were not overall helpful when we tried to amend the end of our trip which although annoying was not the worst. The loss of enjoyable holiday time was the worst part.

Prior to arriving in Kenya we received our Itinary that listed leaving after breakfast and arrival for drives or dinner time. also the list of travel. What it did not mention was the hours of driving every day needed to travel between the different location listed on the Itinary.

every game drive we had exciting as they are were distant memories as we then had to spend 6-8 hours driving to the next location. Longest drive 10.5 hours which upon arrivals at destination were told we had 30 mins before a game drive, which we saddly cancelled due to been sore and tied.

Accomodation at the sopa lodge is average and no power or hot water during the day. The restaurants ok.

Summing up save your money go elseware. We used African Safari company in Zimbabwe and Botswana they were brilliant.

Great Safari with Real Africa
5/5

I am so pleased with my experience seeing Tanzania and Kenya on safari with Real Africa. This was my first trip to Africa and I spent quite a lot of time on-line looking for a safari company that offered what I wanted. My e-mails were answered promptly and all of my questions were addressed. When I arrived in Nairobi I was met by Patrick who accompanied me to the hotel and gave a thorough overview of the trip. The safari itself was very well organized with superb driver/guides with sharp eyes for pointing out the animals and a wealth of knowledge about everything we saw including the birds and trees. From the beginning to the end I felt I was in good hands. I highly recommend Real Africa Safaris. You can visit their website for more information and other safaris they offer.

Satisfaction gaurenteed.
5/5

It was the second time i have used Real Africa safaris, and the second time i have received excellent service. On this occasion i was flying to Nanyuki Am direct from the airport, so things had to be co-ordinated to be sure i got my connection/flight. All went well and I arrived in good time. Equally my return flight was co-ordinated well as the flight came in early. All my travel arrangement went smoothly, and I had a fabulous time. Thank you Real Africa Safari.

Excellently planned tour. Wonderful hotels. Superior Guides/Drivers. Couldn't have been better!
5/5

We've used Real Africa Safaris for other tour groups--so I started out with high expectations and they exceeded them! Our group of 31 had a great experience in Kenya. All of the people we encountered in Kenya from our Driver/Guides to the people who helped us at resorts, etc., could not have been nicer or more accomodating. The animal viewing/game drivers were superb. Thanks again for a tour that, I'm sure, will be remembered for a lifetime by all of us.

An efficient and well organised tour. Some incovenience but first class for animal sightings.
4/5

A good company to deal with. Prompt airport pickup started an enjoyable holiday.
Knowledgeable guides with clean and well maintained vehicles.
Some of the accommodation left a sore taste. Sopa Hotels mainly with its electricity and hot water off all day.
If you decided not to safari for a day you were left in the dark with no hot water. Also check your account carefully before paying.
The long road trip to Lake Nakuru was a wasted day. You need to re arrange this day.
The Kirurumu Tented Lodge was a 2 star at best, but the meals and service 4 star.
