Gave us the best support to make our experiences in Namibia singular
5/5

Thank you, People's Tour & Safari for excellent coordination for personalizing the tour, accepting our request to add Swakopmund to the Sossusvlei, where we cooked together Mozambican chicken peanut curry and xima with coconut milk, accompanied by the chef's special sautéed vegetables in the camp. Overland of Namibia from Windhoek, crossing the Namib desert to the Atlantic for 4 days required much driving hours, techniques and concentration to execute a safe and pleasant trip. Thank you Mr. Fanuel for being a big brother to us, teaching us Namibian nature, culture and society during our trip and for your eagerness to learn about where we came from. Now at the end of September in Mozambique as the burning sun rays and unpredictable raining pattern have shown the climate chaneges, I am reflecting on our trip in Namibia that took place in last May, dry and cold nights. My lips got very rough and bled, "Gosh, they look like fire wood", my friend described them in the best restaurant in Swakopmund and all started to laugh. In desert camp, my friend left his boots out of the tent in the evening, just for a while, and when he came out, a boot was missing. Right way Mr. Fanuel with a search light went around the site, saying that a Jacko could have taken away. Luckly he found it in a bush. Even with that experience, he went to sleep leaving his sandals out of his tent after having brushed his teeth. Next morning I saw him walk around in one sandal, stepping with one barefoot on the cold sand, without the second luck. Mr. Fanuel said, "I thought you had learned a lesson", again all laughed. I remember the uncountable stars in clean and cold air, red dunes, on the top of which I felt the evolution of the earth that has occured during millions years and my small being embraced. Paragliding towards the Atlantic where the oil exploration has been implemented, I glanced an aspect of Namibian development. Next time, I hope to get to know the Namibian people, their life style and culture in different regions.

A MUST USE NAMIBIAN TOUR COMPANY
5/5

I had the absolute pleasure of Booking a tour with People’s tours and safari for my solo trip in Namibia. Fanuel served as my guide. What a fantastic experience and a fantastic company and a fantastic guide! From the get go, everything went smoothly. I contacted the company and immediately got a response from Albin who was kind and incredibly helpful. He answered my questions and helped me with organizing the tour. Then I received my itinerary as well as the name and contact information for my guide. My guide showed up to get me for our Namibian desert adventure as he said he would. The three days touring and camping in the Namibian desert with Fanuel as my guide was AWESOME! He is such a warm soul. We had great conversations, listened to great music and just had general good vibes. This trip was my first time camping and Fanuel made it amazing. He also was incredible patience and helped me take the 10 million photos I wanted to take (haha), which is very important because a girl needs her photos. All the time we were on the adventure, I felt safe. He’s a great driver and tour guide and he went above and beyond to make my adventure an amazing one! 10/10 I highly recommend! Thanks Albin and many thanks Fanuel!

Well managed tour
5/5

3 Days - Windhoek- Sossusvlei - Windhoek Camping Guided Safari

It was well managed 3days tour for Dune 45, Big daddy, Deadvlei Sossusvlei, and Sandwich harbour.

Guide:
Fanuel had enough skills and experiences for this tour. He knows well about persons around the camp site of the park and it’s restaurant and thus he is reliable. He is friendly to everyone and willing to help with other travelers as well. I respect his attitude.

Drive:
Total driving distance of this tour was over 1,000km. And around 40% of them are gravel roads. You need to be prepared for them. But Fanuel’s drive was good because he drove safely and not too much speed. I was very comfortable with it.

Scenic points:
Sun set at Dune 45, Sunrise at Big daddy and view of sandwich harbor were magnificent. These are like another planet. Fanuel knew well about the timing of each points to go and thus I could smoothly see them without troubles. For example, if you see sunrise at Big daddy or Dune 45, you need to be in front of the gate at the time of gate open. To do this, you have to stay lodges or camp site inside the park. You also need 4x4 car. Fanuel well prepared for them on behalf of me, which was very convenient for me.

Camp site:
Although the tour was just me and the guide of Fanuel, he prepared tents for each other separately and I could stay there comfortably. I expected the night time was freezing cold but it was okay for me. I could sleep well without problems. We had dinner at the restaurant/bar of the camp site and the food was actually very good.

Overall:
I will definitely recommend this tour for the person who wants to view scenic points smoothly without stress.

Preparing for the tour
It’s better to bring followings with you.
•Small torch : to use inside the tent
•Camera which can take photos of stars: Stars at camp site is very beautiful. But smartphones cannot take photos of them.
•Small spoon: the breakfast prepared by the restaurant includes a cup of yogurt but not a spoon…

If you can fry in or out from Walvis bay airport instead of Windhoek, choose these flights since there are a few things to do in Windhoek.

You will not regret this experience. What a wonderful experience. Even though it was short, it was truly memorable. Also the tour company was able to set everything up for my last minute request. Truly appreciate that!

Professional service and flexible with regards to dates
5/5

I booked a three-day-trip from Windhoek to Etosha in April. As I had only those three days following a business trip, I was not flexible with regards to dates and I noticed that some other providers only offer certain tours starting on certain days of the week.
People Tours and Safari offered me the dates I wanted and as I was the only customer, it turned out to be private tour just for myself.
Leonard was my guide and he was a very professional, experienced and friendly driver and guide. I felt safe driving with him and he went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and happy. Once in the park, he connected online with other guides to find out about animal sightings and to make sure we spot as many species as possible. That way, we managed to see some lions early in the morning and we also spotted some elephants the same day. As my visit took place after the region had experienced some rainfall, it was not as straight forward to see elephants compared to the dry season and I was very pleased we managed to see some. We were also lucky enough to spot a rhino which was another highlight of the day. Driving in a closed off-road vehicle was more comfortable than the open vehicles used by the lodges and gave us the flexibility to spend all day in the park without having to stick to a tight schedule.
During the journey between Windhoek and Etosha, Leonard chose some nice places to eat lunch and I also had the opportunity to grab some last-minute necessities from a supermarket.
Altogether, I really enjoyed those three days with Leonard and I can highly recommend to book a tour with them.

I had a great time thanks to "People Tours And Safaris"
5/5

I enjoyed the tour "5-day Sossusvlei & Coast" arranged by Aina.
"Dune45" with sunset and "BigDuddly" with sunrise were grateful for the stunning views. I enjoyed activities like "Quad Bike" and "Sandwich Harbour". The accommodation in the national park was also brilliant.

My guide, Fanuel, is not only a professional guide but also kind, friendly, reliable, and good-hearted. And I like his driving manner. I enjoyed the tour a lot thanks to him.

I had a great time in Namibia.
I would like to come back there with my family, and then I'll certainly ask "People Tours And Safaris" again.

Brilliant Tour and Even Better Guide
5/5

People Tours and Safari were great to deal with and arranged a 6-day Namib Deser and Etosha Tour safari for me.

My guide, Leonard, was excellent. As I exited the airport he was waiting for me and all through the tour was knowledgable and provided excellent service.

His great organisation kept us on track. There were some early starts but they were all in Leonard’s plan!

A first highlight was an early morning hike up Big Daddy dune in Sossusvlei. Again through Leonard’s advice the early start meant the difficult hiking was done in the early morning cool and we were back down in the valley before the heat of the day hit

As well as tips during the day, Leonard also had great advice for dinner - an excellent meal alongside the seal in Swakopmund was a stand out highlight.

As we entered Etosha for two nights, Leonard showed another one of his talents - an amazing ability to see wildlife from far away. Multiple times through the game drives he spotted elephants, giraffe, springbok etc and pointed me in the right direction to see it.

An all round excellent tour made even better by the guide - I can fully recommend People’s Tours and Safari along with Leonard as the guide! I’ll remember this trip for a long time.

Phenomenal experience which will treasure for life
5/5

People's Tour & Safari provided me with an unforgettable five-day safari experience to Etosha. The communication was impeccable, and they were able to book me a tailor made safari tour exactly to my requirements. I was picked up from the airport, driven to my overnight air bnb in Windhoek, and then driven the following morning to Etosha, where I spent four nights and five days. I had the honour and privilege to be accompanied by Fanuel, who is an expert tour guide and through his deep knowledge and experience of the park, we were able to spot all the Big 4 that the park has to offer. Fanuel very much became a friend as well as a guide, and looked after my every need. I felt incredibly well looked after, and he was able to accommodate special requests which I had on the go such as tasting traditional Namibian cooking and visiting traditional tribe villages. At the end of the tour, Fanuel and the company organised my final night in Windhoek before taking me directly to the airport the next day for my return home. This experience was incredible value for money, the service was fantastic, and it is an experience which I shall carry with for the rest of my life, so I am forever grateful to People's Tour & Safari, as well as Fanuel, both of which I cannot recommend more. Thank you to them, and I hope other travellers will follow in my footsteps to experience the animals and sites of Namibia.
