Best tour guide
My wife and I had the trip of a lifetime, an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From gorilla trekking to game drives, every moment was magical and the wildlife encounters were simply breathtaking. Our guide Godwin was knowledgeable and attentive, and every detail of the trip was perfectly organized. AMAZING
it took me a few months to find out this company when you don’t know it’s kind of scary, but this company is professional. The drivers are very kind. AMANYA AND IAN (drivers The safari’s is very fun. we also did gorrilla treking . Even the airline lost my luggage and they went to the border with another country to pick it up for me. I only have good things to say about this company.

A lot of fun!
Denis is such a fun ball of energy. He was always on time and nothing was too much work or a hassle for him. He takes everything as a learning opportunity and has an eternal optimism that is infectious.

Amazing Gorilla Trekking with Ian
We booked a very last minute gorilla trekking tour from Kigali with Standard Safaris, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The booking process via WhatsApp was incredibly easy, fast, and uncomplicated.
Our guide, Ian, picked us up right on time at our hotel in Kigali. The entire tour was an amazing experience, but Ian truly made it unforgettable. From the beginning, he told us to let him know anytime we wanted to stop for photos, which made the drive much more enjoyable. He also introduced us to traditional Ugandan food along the way and shared interesting information about the country and its culture.
Ian is genuinely one of the kindest and warmest people we have met. His friendliness, enthusiasm, and care made us feel welcome throughout the whole trip. Thank you, Ian, for making this experience so special:)

I had a fantastic experience on this tour and would highly recommend it. Everything was very well organised, and the highlight was, of course, the unforgettable gorilla trekking experience.
Ian was my driver and Frank was my guide. They were both incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly throughout the trip. Ian was always punctual and reliable, making every transfer smooth and stress-free, while Frank was an excellent guide who made sure everything went perfectly.
They went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests and helped me secure a gorilla family with babies, which made the experience even more special. Professional
Me and my two teens had an unbelievable gorilla trekking! We saw Tindatine family which has 10 family members. The gorillas were so close to us! The one year old girl was very playful and hilarious. She was wrestling with her three year old brother. My teens were laughing out loud when watching her. The silverback took a nap when we’re visiting the family. This means that the gorillas were very comfortable even when we were around.
Everything was done super professional. Dennis, our driver, was taking so good care of us. He was kind and caring. All the people in the Bwindi national park were extremely professional. We got good briefing how to do the trekking and the whole trekking took totally 4 hours. This was the biggest nature experience we have had and our family has traveled a lot!

7-day journey full of unforgettable experiences
I would like to share an amazing experience we had during our trip with Standard Safaris and our fantastic guides, Denis and George (a huge thank you, guys!).
Let me start with the communication, which was smooth and hassle-free from the very beginning. The manager, Coleb, adjusted our itinerary several times according to our wishes and always communicated quickly and helpfully.
Upon arrival in Entebbe, our guides were waiting for us exactly as agreed, and our beautiful 7-day journey full of unforgettable experiences began. Everything was perfectly organized, and each day brought something new — chimpanzee trekking, a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park with its incredible diversity of wildlife, boat cruises, the highlight of the trip — gorilla trekking — as well as a walking safari among herds of giraffes and countless zebras.
At first, we were amazed mainly by the stunning, almost indescribable nature. But as time went on, what truly captivated us was the incredible sense of peace that accompanied us throughout the entire journey.
George and Denis were outstanding travel companions who took exemplary care of us — for which we are truly grateful. Whatever we asked for, the answer was always “yes — it’s possible.”
Another big surprise was the accommodation and food, which were of genuine five-star quality.
If you are considering this trip and still hesitating — GO! It is an incredible experience. We have traveled quite a bit around the world, and this was one of the most emotional journeys we have ever had.

I’ll be honest: I usually have the navigational skills of a pigeon in a paper bag, so I was a little nervous about trekking through Uganda. But from the moment I was picked up, I realized I wasn’t just in a safari vehicle—I was in a rolling sanctuary of professionalism and vibes.
The Legend Behind the Wheel
Let’s talk about my driver. This man is not just a driver; he is a wizard with a steering wheel. Watching him navigate the local towns was like watching a masterclass in calm. While the rest of the world is a chaotic symphony of boda-bodas and bustling markets, he moved through it all with the grace of a gazelle. I’m pretty sure he could parallel park a Boeing 747 in a narrow alleyway without breaking a sweat.
Safety & Polite Vibes
As a traveler, "safety" is usually my middle name (well, actually it's "Anxious," but "Safety" sounds cooler). I have never felt more looked after. He was incredibly polite, professional, and had this uncanny ability to make me feel like I was traveling with a long-lost best friend who also happened to be a high-level bodyguard.

He didn't just drive; he accommodated every single one of my needs—and I’ll admit, I’m not always the "low-maintenance" traveler I think I am.
• Need a specific snack? He found it.
• Need to stop for the 14th photo of a tree? He’s already pulling over with a smile.
• Need to know the history of a random village? He’s basically a walking encyclopedia.

Incredible
We experienced a really well planned amazing time to explore the great nature in Uganda. The communication was from beginning and in between fast and reliable, the service with an own driver for the 12 days perfect and save. We visited our son and it was a mixture of seeing the great nature, but also discover the traditional living and social live with all problems of the country. All around a incredible experience for the whole family including joung adults.
