Perfect, it couldn't have been better!
5/5

We were met in Nairobi by TJ with champagne, hats and a gift pack, and a surprise invitation for dinner at the Manji family's home the next evening, with other Safari guests. We had a lovely evening with Manaz, Rahim and families, thank you. Our 12 night Safari was amazing. Our guides/drivers were extremely knowledgeable about the country and the animals, they were skilled drivers and very pleasant companions. Seif, Abdul and Ibrahim were always helpful and managed to show us many animals from the best advantage site.
Our accommodation was first class everywhere, however we particularly loved the smaller lodges Mbweha Safari Camp and Tipilikwani Mara Camp as they were more intimate and laid back.
We would highly recommend Twiga Tours to anyone considering a safari trip.

GREAT SERVICE, GREAT STAFF, GREAT SATISFACTION
5/5

It's so surprising when I think back that, it was only 10 days ago I was in Kenya. This was my first trip to Kenya and my first safari. Only five stars surfice for Twiga Tours as they have to date surpassed all of the tour operators that I have dealt with in the past. Yes, we too were met at the Nairobi Airport by the guides from Twiga Tours with hot towels, safari hats, and goodie bags and the hot champagne (sorry George) we had so far to walk to the carpark (the airport was under renovtion and the boys (guides) couldn't park close) anyone or thing would have been hot. Off we went to the Sarova Stanley Hotel (no not named after one of our guides) and once we had dropped our luggage and had a old drink we left for one of the attrations I was so looking forward to - the Daphne Sheldricks orphanage for motherless young elephants whose mothers have been murdered by greedy and ruthless ivory collectors. This was so rewarding and worth the visit. Then on to Karen Blixen Museum (of Out of Africa fame) and then back to the hotel. Every day of this 14 day safari was FANTASTIC, every day was a favourite. We travelled to Elephant Bedroom Camp and saw close up and personal animals only seen on TV or in books. This is situated in the Samburu Game Reserve. Two days later we were off the Sweetwaters Tented Camp situated in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. There I saw on the same day at the 'waterhole' more than10 elephants of all ages at one time and then later that morning a dozen or more (a tower) giraffe - apparently no one had witnessed that before. And some were sorry I hadn't gone on safari that morning (not for long). Two sleeps and we were off again, this time to Sarova Lion Hill Lodge and we saw 1000's of flamingos at Lake Nakuru, one sleep and we were off to Tipilikwani Luxury Tented Camp near the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Three sleeps later and unfortunately it was over. Doesn't sound much, you know the saying "You had to be there" so true for all of this. I have purposely left out the fantastic aminals and birds as I just didn't want to spoil your enjoyment. I have mentioned birds and I don't want you to do what I did - don't ignore getting information before you leave Aust. I did and I regret not having a bird book or the like. All of this safari is because of Twiga Tours they own all but one of the accommodation and these form an integral part of the whole adventure. Thank you Ali - our guide, and I am sure I speak on behalf of all the other travellers - thank you to: Stanley, Reubon and George for a job truely well done:-) Jambo Jambo - Karibu

First rate company for our first safari to Kenya
5/5

Just excellent services from the staff all the way to the owners, Minaz and Rahim. They made sure we were alright from the day we arrived in Nairobi, during our safaris in Meru, Samburu and Masai Mara till the day we left Kenya. The guides assigned to us were experienced and know their animals very well. We were so lucky to be able to see the big-5 including the elusive leopards and cheetahs. During the 10 days we were there the guides became our good friends and it was sad when we had to leave. Thank you Minaz & Rahim for the 5-star accommodations and the great service. We will come back. Haryanto.

We had the experience of a lifetime!!
5/5

We were met at Kenya Airport by Evans and George with champagne, hot towels, safari hat and goody bag. What a reception to our much anticipated safari.
My daughter and I had, for years, wanted to do a safari and we left the "organising" to our very capable travel agent here in Menai, Sydney Australia.
I really don't know where to begin to describe our experience, it was absolutely beyond our expectations and just amazing. The accommodation, personal service, guides, everything was wonderful. I couldn't fault Twiga Tours at all, if I had to, it would be to complain about the fact that we had 3 guides. I understand its a political thing, but we had really enjoyed George and then when we crossed into Tanzania we found out we were losing George and were getting Rama! Rama was lovely, but not as fluent in English as George but we did get used to him and enjoyed his funny giggle and the information he provided. Then after a week with Rama, back to Kenya and yet another guide! That was a disappointing way to finish the trip.
However, I would definitely recommend Twiga, they were fantastic, my daughter and I will never forget our first trip to incredible Africa!!

Never a problem
5/5

The first thing to note about our Twiga Tour in Kenya is that there was never any problem, from the time I first contacted them through the website to the time we left Nairobi happy.
Any experienced traveller will tell you that is nearly impossible but the organisation of the itinerary, payments and additional activities through Mukami was without a hitch and the implementation of the tour with our guide, George, was seamless.
Any questions - about the tours, the parks, the animals and even Kenya's history or politics! - had answers and most questions were anticipated.
According to our itinerary, our final day we were to be dropped at the airport in Nairobi to fly out but we needed to stay overnight before a very early flight the next morning but Twiga organised the hotel drop as well as a pick up to go to the airport.
The experience of the Kenyan national parks stands for itself but the excellent properties we stayed at and the guidance and assistance from Twiga ensured that this was a lovely trip even aside from the marvellous animals.
I initially booked with Twiga for our first safari tour because my sister, a travel agency operator in Australia for more than 30 years, who herself had been eight times to Kenya, said they were the best - now I've been with them, I wouldn't try anyone else!

Twiga was professional, responsive, experienced and amazing’
5/5

We received multiple quotes, we went with Twiga Tour because they are family business, operated by locals and were cost effective.
Mukami was so responsive, we had to change our itinerary around but she was able to accomodate.
We organised a private tour with a land cruiser. Our driver/ tour guides, Seif and Peter (Our tour guide in tanzania) were excellent! Seif was so professional, experienced and knowledgeable, they made it easier for us to learn the local culture and helped us with settling in. They provided binoculars, hand sanitiser, gifts when we arrived. Our accomodation for all places were wonderful!!
Masa Maara and Serengeti national parks were our favourite! We didn’t get to see the great migration but it was still amazing!!
Would highly recommend!

Twiga Tours: The Best!
5/5

Twiga Tours organized our 2 consecutive company trips - with 85 attendees each week. Rahim and his team did a great job making this trip an unforgettable experience for everyone. Everything perfectly organized and any issues (like transfer changes/ extra hotel nights because of last minute flight changes by airlines etc) solved and arranged without any of the attendees noticing.
Drivers/guides are like walking encyclopedia's!
I'm sure many of our attendees will come back and/or recommend Twiga Tours for their personal holidays!
I certainly will!
Thank you again!
