Highly professional team with very knowledgeable safari guides who deliver a great safari experience
We had a great safari to the Masai Mara with Twiga Tours. Our driver Ken is thoroughly knowledgeable and is spectacularly good at spotting wildlife at long distance and in thick scrub where at first it is barely visible. We saw almost everything it is possible to see in the, many groups of elephants and prides of lion, leopard, cheetah, hippos, buffalo, all the species of antelope, beautiful groups of giraffe, as well as hyenas and jackals!
This was our third Twiga Safari and I have to say we will definitely be back for more - the office team are highly professional, but above all the three driver guides we have had have each been very strong and knowledgeable (as well as amazing designers vers who have navigated us through some quite challenging terrain!
On this trip I’d also like to give a big shout out to the Mara Maisha Lodge - the accommodation was top notch and very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was amongst the best we have had at then numerous game lodges we have stayed at over many years.

Meticulous attention to maximizing our experiences
From start to finish of our 2-week safari in Kenya, Twiga treated us royally. No worries on arrival or departure at the airport & Nairobi hotels.
Our guides, Nico and Alex, saw to it that we had detailed updates of our fun-packed itinerary at each stage. They continually sought out the best viewing times and places for all the animals and birds, using their deep knowledge and experience to explain what we were seeing. They got us close enough for great photo ops whilst respecting the animals’ space.
The accommodations at each step of our 7- location vacation were amazing - food was wonderful and staff were extremely helpful and engaging at each place. Each conservancy we visited provided contrasting opportunities for viewing wildlife and our travels took us through communities where we could view local customs and lifestyles.
We had an opportunity to interact with villagers in Samburu which became a highlight of our trip. Such interesting people taking the time to explain their daily lives and their ambitions.
We felt safe and cared for at every step of the trip. My son and I were part of a 7-person tour group from BC Canada & I can honestly say that we feel lucky and blessed to have been with the other 5 and with our two guides for those two weeks.
Considering the huge benefits and pleasure we derived from our experience, I have no hesitation in fully endorsing Twiga and reporting that value for money was not an issue.

Experienced and kind
I have used Twiga Tours on several occassions and every time the experience gets even better This time around we visited the Massai Mara with my daughter. We had an unforgettable experience with twiga tours. We felt that we did see a lot in 2 days including the big five. Our tour guide Nico was absolutely outstanding. He was friendly and knew the mara like the back of his yard. They land cruiser was outstanding with charging outlets and a fridge which we used to chill out drinks. We also experienced a wonderful breakfast in the open savanna We highly recommend Twiga tours for all your excursions.

Exceptional Customer Service
My family and I travelled to Kenya and we had the pleasure of experiencing a safari in Amboseli which was lovely. Our driver Isaac was amazing and knowledgeable and we saw tons of animals including my favorite elephants. In Kenya we had the pleasure of working with a driver named Seif who was just as wonderful. He was patient and took us sight seeing to the giraffe centre, elephant orphanage as well as other local places in town. Twiga Tours goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction and I highly recommend trying them out. They really ARE the fun ppl to safari with.

Absolutely fabulous tour operators.
I have just completed a 2 week tour with Twiga in Kenya. Our driver, Humphrey, was fabulous. Full of information about the animals and birds, and if he didn't know he'd look it up for us. We saw all the big '5' as they say plus some very elusive animals, like the wild dogs. We saw a cheetah stalking it's prey, and hippo's, crocodiles and birds galore. We also saw the annual migration of wilderbeasts. I highly recommend this company.

Twiga tours are excellent to travel with providing great comfort and excellent food choices.
We loved our safari with Twiga Tours. We had an excellent tour organiser in James Cracknell from Windsong Travel and our driver was David who was an excellent driver and provided answers to all our questions even googling to find the correct answer to difficult questions. We would thoroughly recommend this safari tour. We saw all of the big game animals and smaller animals and numerous birds.

TWIGA TOURS...AMAZING SERVICE, FANTASTIC STAFF, 10/10
Our experience was amazing, from the first step off the plane at Nairobi to the very sad end after 5 days. We loved that we had the same guide, Ken, (Kennedy) from beginning to the finish. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. He answered every question that we had and ensured that we saw the big 5. From nakuru, to the Mara and the Masai camp, Ken was determined to make our experience the best it could possibly be right down to organising a picnic lunch on the Mara. My sister and I would recommend twiga tours to anyone who wants an experience of a lifetime.

Professional and Organized
Twiga did a great job to met all our expectations! We were warmly welcomed by our guild, whose knowledge of the country and it’s wildlife truly made our experience unforgettable.
Throughout the tour, our guide ensured that each aspect of our safari was perfect. His expertise in navigating Kenya and the parks brought us safely to incredible wildlife sightings, including lions, rhino and leopards – who could ask for more? He was a safe and knowledgable driver and guide.
Everything was exceptionally organized.
