A great Safari with so much fun. Got to encounter plenty of animals close to our car! Our driver Joseph made sure that we had a good time, and provided snacks and drinks during the safari, and lunch on a stop. The car is spacious and you can stand to look out the roof. A very good experience, really recommend!

We did a two-day safari with Sassabi and it was amazing. Our driver was so knowledgeable, kind, and adjusting to our needs. I took over a thousand pictures in two days and our driver always placed us the perfect spot to get the best pictures. Thank you so much.

Sassabi Expeditions far exceeded our expectations!
My wife and I along with some friends from California went to Tanzania for mission work. We wrapped up our time there with a 2 day safari.
Tanzania is amazing. The landscape is breathtaking and people are amazing. We spent some time not far from Mount Kilimanjaro and had the opportunity to meet many Tanzanians. The people are very gracious and hospitable. One time while we were in the bush, an older woman walked up to my wife and I, extended her hands, shook our hands and smiled. Then she turned, walked away and continued on her journey. There were dozens of similar interactions during our stay.
The Safari trip with Sassabi Expeditions far exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Immanuel, was very experienced in all aspects of a Safari guide. With over 20 years of Safari experience, he was also a mechanic at one time. He knew the roads very well, and was especially knowledgeable about Tanzania people, landscape, and wildlife. He knew how to find the animals we were hoping to see.
Our trip included a day at the Tarangire Park and another day at Ngorongoro Crater. Both were great experiences. We saw many animals in the wild including: giraffes, elephants, lions, warthogs, rhinocerous, hippos, zebras, water buffalo, jackals, wilderbeasts, babboons, monkeys, flamingos, various birds only seen in Africa. While many of these were up close, I never felt unsafe.
The vehicle was well maintained, comfortable and capable of handling the rugged terrain we encountered.
Sassabi also arranged for us to stayed at a nice lodge. At the end of the trip Immanuel got us to the airport for our flight home.

Great experience!
Great experience with a grear guide who was really nice and funny and would teach us Swahili. We saw a lot of animals and birds. The variety of snacks available onboard was great. Would highly recommend!

The tour guides were awesome- very knowledgeable and fun! I loved the snacks and meal & drinks that were included. We saw elephants SOOO close to our car I could’ve almost touched them.

Awesome safari in Tarangire
My group had such a great time with Sassabi Expeditions. They took such good care of us and were incredibly responsive in the booking process. We had a great day out in Tarangire with all our food and drinks included, and the guides were so knowledgeable and friendly. We laughed a lot with them and enjoyed them so much. They were experts at finding wildlife and helping us experience them in their natural habitat. We had an amazing close encounter with elephants because they took the time. I didn't include a photo of that because I was too engrossed in the moment haha. 10/10 would recommend, these guys are awesome!
