Best experience of all time!
We booked a 5-day safari with Sunset Adventure Safari, and it was truly the best experience of all time!
Our journey started in Tarangire National Park, followed by Lake Manyara, then two incredible days in the Serengeti, and finally, we ended in the stunning Ngorongoro Crater. Each night we stayed at a different accommodation, and every single one was phenomenal everything was perfectly arranged, with delicious food and the kindest staff.
We saw so many beautiful animals in the parks and got to witness the breathtaking beauty of nature up close. It was truly unforgettable.
A special shoutout to our guides, Adam and Abraham amazing people with a huge love for animals and eyes like hawks! We could ask them anything, and they always made us feel safe, comfortable, and excited throughout the trip.
What we really appreciated is how animal-friendly the entire organization is their deep respect for wildlife was clear in everything they did.
From the very first email to the last day of our safari, everything was perfectly organized. We highly recommend doing a safari and if you do, make sure to go with Sunset Adventure Safari. You won’t regret it!

Well organised and experienced professionals
We wanted to take our 6 year old twins on their first camping experience in the Serengeti - we drove from mwanza to Karatu. Jonathan and Isaac were very professional, organised and kind. Their knowledge was excellent and accurate and they were both very kind to the children who loved their holiday. This is the fourth time us and family members have used sunset and we will do so again.

Wonderful Guide and Experience
Cannot recommend Sunset Adventure Safari enough! We had a wonderful time on our 7 day safari visiting Tarangire, Lake Natron, Serengeti, Ndutu, and Manyara. Johnathan was absolutely amazing in making us feel comfortable, ensuring we had everything we needed, and explaining so many things to us. He felt more like a friend than our guide and made the experience unique. We LOVED that he is Masaii and was able to share so much information and knowledge regarding the history of Tanzania and his culture! He took time to ensure we saw all of the Big 5, stayed as long as we wanted when viewing certain wildlife, made sure the vehicle was spotless and fresh every day, and would sit down each night to discuss with us what time we should be on the road the next day. Additionally, leading up the the trip Emma and Sarah were fantastic communicators. They helped to customize our trip, made any adjustments we asked for, and set clear expectations. Lastly, Godfrey was able to store our luggage as the safari ended while we took a few days in Zanzibar. This was above and beyond our expectations but we truly appreciated Sunset Adventure Safari's coordination and facilitation to ensure our trip was smooth, easy, and enjoyable. Would come back and do it all over again!!

Great Experience in an amazing setting
We were very well supported by our safari organizers and had an amazing experience in Africa. Our guide Abraham drove us safely and was very experienced in finding all the animals and explaining a lot about der habitats, life, hunting, all you want to know about African wildlife.
A special experience was to contact to native people, where he described not only the folkloristic show but answer very deeply to all our questions concerning religion, spirituality, contact to other tribes and rude rituals as circumcision.
Overall it was an amazing journey.

Our tour operator was excellent!!!
From our first conversation with Emma, until the end of our adventure, our expectations were more than met. Emma was helpful in answering every question that we had. From the moment our driver/Guide (Elemis's) met us at the airport and on the last day returned us to the airport, he was professional, displayed good humor, was always willing to share info about animals, plants etc, as well as he made sure we knew what to expect each day. The lodging accomations were very good - tent camping to the more upscale hotel, spa - each were exceptional. The daily meals that were provided were good as well, choices of meal could be made, fresh fruit and vegetables when available was a delight. All of the behind the scene Tanzania people that we met, chef's, servers, luggage helpers etc., again were terrific, very willing to help us with a smile. The tours of visiting the villages, balloon ride, and walks with the rangers were great. Overall, A+.

Amazing experience
It was our first safari trip and we weren’t sure what to expect but Emma put us on ease by answering all our questions and doubts and gave us some great advice and tips. Everything was well organized from start to finish, all we had to do was relax and enjoy our safari adventure. It was simply amazing to experience so much wildlife thanks to our experienced and patient guide Abrahman. Not only was he a great driver but as well spotted many animals that we would have easily missed. We spend around a week in the various NP-Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Each of them well worth it and the accommodation was lovely.
After the safari we flew to Zanzibar for a few a few days and enjoyed the spice tour, the beach and water activities at our hotel. The only pity was that we didn’t have more holidays left!
Many thanks to Emma and her team at Sunset adventure safari for the great service and adventure! In addition thanks for getting our lost luggage at airport safely back to our hotel!

It was a perfect safari with our group of 14 Dutch people
From 6 days diving on Zanzibar to a three-day safari tour to Tanzania. Transfers were well arranged and our guides Jonathan and David were waiting for us at Arusha airport with their Toyota landcruisers. Both guides guided us perfectly during these three tiring but certainly not to be missed safari days to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park. Encounter with The Big Five and dozens of other wild animals and birds. Super three days, ending with a short visit to a Masai community.

Fantastic Trip
I cannot say enough about how wonderful this trip was. From the planning stages I knew we would see some animals and amazing locations. I had no idea how amazing it would be until arrival in Tanzania. The trip was way beyond my expectations. The transitions between locations was smooth, everything was handled for us. The locations were amazing, the lodgings were very nice, and the animals we saw were beyond our dreams. I can't imagine any way for this trip to be better. Took a once in a lifetime trip that I will likely make again.

** Amazing holiday! Amazing tour operator! Best trip ever! **
We recently returned from the most amazing family holiday booked with Sunset Adventure Safari (Sunset Africa Ltd). We are a family of 5, 3 children from 11 to 16. We booked the 13 night Safari and Zanzibar tour. The booking team (Emma and Sarah) are fantastic. They quickly responded to any queries we had and also kept us up to date with requirements about the holiday, such as visas and the recently introduced Zanzibar insurance! They provided a personal touch, including an initial WhatsApp call to discuss the fine details of the holiday and were also super flexible, enabling us to adapt parts of the holiday, which we did for 4 nights in Zanzibar.
The holiday itself was out of this world! Our guide, Adam, picked us up from Kilimanjaro airport and guided us for the next 6 days through the beautiful sights of Tanzania's northern national parks. He was the perfect guide! He had endless knowledge of the parks, country's history and politics, and of course the flora and fauna. He had a knack for finding the perfect spots in the parks and we saw so many things including: a pride of 12 lions resting near some trees in the early morning, the Wildebeest and Zebra migrating south from the Maasai Mara in Kenya, a herd of elephant slowly making their way through the forest and around our Land Cruiser, a mother leopard playing with its young cub on a Kopje, lions resting in the trees, 3 cheetahs resting under a tree in the midday heat, a lone lion making several failed attempts to catch a gazelle, to name but a few. We saw every animal you could hope for on the safari part of the holiday and most in abundance.
Whilst the safari was our favourite part of the holiday, the trip to Zanzibar was amazing too and well needed after 6 days on safari! Stone Town is really interesting and definitely worth a day, the beaches are beautiful and we had a relaxing 4 days chilling on the north of the island.
The accommodation throughout provided a nice mix of styles, from the plush lodges near Karatu with outdoor swimming pools, to the well-equipped but rustic tents of the Serengeti, where we could hear lions roar in the night, to the 5 star luxury of the Zanzibar hotel. The staff at the lodges greet you with fresh cold flannels and hibiscus juice which was always welcomed after a long day on Safari!
** I have been lucky enough to travel all over the world on many holidays over my 40+ years!! This is definitely the best holiday I have been on and I would highly recommend both the trip and Sunset Adventure Safari. **

We cannot recommend this company enough!
**The Safari Experience**
We did the 5-day adventurous camping safari in October, and from start to finish, it was an incredible experience.
The camping aspect was fantastic! The first two nights felt more like glamping, with a campsite with amazing views and a lovely swimming pool. The next two days were more basic, but you really felt immersed in the Serengeti experience, especially hearing lions roar from inside the tent – an unforgettable thrill!
We also highly recommend the walking tour, where we set off with a ranger, and his rifle. Along the way, we encountered signs of recent animal activity and even spotted a giraffe by a watering hole. The ranger's relaxed demeanor helped put us entirely at ease.
**The Team**
Emma and Sarah were extremely helpful in coordinating our itinerary and guiding us through options to fit our preferences.
Our driver, Adam, picked us up from the hotel, and we collected Isaac, our chef, en route. We couldn’t have asked for a better team!
Adam was not only an excellent driver but also extremely knowledgeable about the local wildlife. His knack for predicting animal movements meant we were always in the best possible spots for sightings, and he put in so much effort to help us see everything we could have hoped for.
Isaac was super friendly and an incredible chef, serving up some of the tastiest meals – we definitely gained a few pounds!
A special shout-out goes to the team behind the scenes! Following a minor incident with a monkey, I needed a series of anti-rabies vaccinations. Adam and Godfrey, the tour operator, went above and beyond to source the necessary treatment in some *very* remote areas. Their care and dedication were truly appreciated 🙏
**Community Support**
On top of providing amazing experiences, the company also donates a portion of their profits to a charity supporting women and girls in Maasai communities – a wonderful mission we were glad to support.
