The tour guide is very good and explains everything really good. The lodges are also really good.
4/5

The lodges are really nice and clean. You have a lot of space in the lodge for 2 persons. The food is also very good and fresh.

The outlet didn’t work, I couldn’t put a charger in it.

The tour guide explains everything when you wanna know something about the animals.

The accomodation was very Nice. Good beds, enough space. The food was also amazing.
The driver Freddy was very kind and wanted to teach us a lot about the animals. We Could ask everything.

Good tour at reasonable price
4/5

Overall we were pleased with our tour of Ngorongoro crater. Our driver/guide arrived as scheduled and he spoke good English. He adapted as needed based upon the weather (visiting the overview at the end since fog covered in the morning), and worked with other guides to find various animals. We saw plenty of animals including rhinos which we had failed to see on the other two safaris we had done. He also stopped at two gift shop areas on the way back to Arusha which was a bonus.

We only have two complaints. First, we had been told that we could pay be credit card but during our meeting the day before the tour, they were asking for a portion of it to be in cash. We were unprepared since they had told us credit card when we had booked weeks in advance and then also asking again the day before. If they had simply told us they wanted it to be cash, we could have been better prepared for it. In the end, we gave less cash than they wanted and they let us pay the rest of it by credit. Secondly, the lunch had mixed reviews by our family. It was a lunch box and overall it was pretty good, but a few of the foiled cheese wedges were all moldy when opened. We had stopped to get the lunches on our way out from somebody so I don't think the lunches are made by them, but they may want to consider a better supplier.

Friendly professional and organised worth every minute of safariing !
4/5

Operator Amani, our driver Juma and the cook Peter were ready from the very beginning to make us feel relaxed safe and excited. They gave us from before, every information we needed and they really sticked to the program ( even though things could be flexible if we asked them too). We chose the 5 days safari so we could see as much as possible and so we did. Our driver Juma (happily whistling swahili songs) spotted the animals easily and patiently was waiting to catch the action. We saw the "big five" as expected, many times! Due to our low budget two nights we spend camping outside in amazing campsites with super warm tents and sleeping bags. The other two were in beautiful simple two bed lodges with amazing view and friendly happy stuff ( like most of Tanzanian people!) They provided us three rich meals per day and lots of water. We were treated like friends and not clients and this is why i totally recommend this to people who want to feel adventurous but spoiled at the same time.

unreliable, untrustworthy and careless

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent safari experience in Tanzania with Kipok Africa Adventures
I booked 3-day safari package for 2 people, including one airport transfer, transfers to and from accommodation before and after the safari, and full 3-day safari with guide and accommodation.

Itinerary: 1.day Tarangire, 2.day Ngorongoro and 3.day Lake Manyara
Contact person: Amani

Specific Feedback
• Communication: After we paid for our trip, we received very little communication from Kipok Adventures. We were not informed that we would be with a different group/company each day, even though we paid for a package that should have included the same guide for the entire trip. They also charged us extra for the airport transfer, which should be included in the price of our package.
• Plan changes: The original safari plan included visiting Tarangire National Park on day one, Ngorongoro Crater National Park on day two, and Lake Manyara National Park on day three. At the last minute, we were informed that the plan was changing and we would be visiting Lake Manyara on day two and Ngorongoro Crater on day three. Due to these changes, on the second day of our safari, we had too much free time because we were very close to Lake Manyara, and on the last day, we had to rush through Ngorongoro Crater (the highlight of safari) in order to make it to Arusha on time. This made the trip feel rushed and stressful.
• Guides: We had a different guide from a different company every day. We never knew for sure who would be leading us. For two days, the car had no company markings. The guide on the last day was very unprofessional and did not organize the taxi to our hotel properly. We had difficulty getting back to our hotel and had to ask the guide from the previous day, John from Crater Explorer Tours, for help. John was the only one responding and actually the only really professional guide on our trip. I am very grateful to him for helping us even though he was not our guide on the last day.
Additional Feedback
I would also like to add that I sent a complaint letter to Kipok Africa Adventures but I did not receive a response until few days later, after I sent a warning to write a review based on my experience. This is already 2 weeks and since then I did not hear from the company. I believe that this shows that Kipok is not serious about addressing customer complaints.
Conclusion
I am very disappointed with the service that I received from Kipok Africa Adventures. I would not recommend them to anyone.

5 Day Kilimanjaro Climb: Nov 2021

Pro-cheapest price, plentiful food, terrific guide

Con-employee who arranged booking insisted I give him the tip money for guide and porters up front rather than allowing me to distribute the money directly to them myself during or after the climb. Upon return from the climb, the employee gave my tip money to the guide. However, the money was not the same as that which I had given to the employee. The denominations of bills were smaller and it appeared some money had been removed. Would not recommend this company as it seems the office-based employee who handles bookings is stealing some of the tip money from the guides and porters who do all the actual hard work on the mountain

The client booked the tour to Kilimanjaro climb with us, and the tour was organized as promised, and the client left the tips to the office which was to be given to the guides and crews when they get back from the climb, the denominations left was in 5000 notes, so when they get back the tips was handed in front of him but with the 10000 notes but the amount is equal , so here is where the client saw it differently, but the guide who took the tips knows exactly how much the tips was left. however, the next day the review was posted reporting the tipping matter and theft.

we tried to reach out the client by phone and by WhatsApp to explain but ended blocking both the management and the guide who received the tip also wrote him explaining the issue that the tip was fully handed to the crew but also blocked the guide, so there was no way to get him or respond to the guides messages.
