Great experience, tour in spanish!
5/5

We did the 4-day Safari Lodge Experience with Cubs Expeditions and it was an extraordinary trip. From the moment we were picked up at the airport until we were dropped off, everything was well organised and deeply memorable.

Our guide Sam was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife and conservation. He spoke perfect spanish and had an amazing eye for spotting animals, making sure we didn’t miss a thing. Thanks to him we got to see lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and many more!

Thanks Humphrey and team for such a nice experience!

The best ever will never forget it
5/5

I booked a seven-day safari trip with Humphrey. At first, I was hesitant and had some concerns, but from the moment we arrived at the airport, I was amazed by the level of organization and care shown by Humphrey and his team.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this time I felt compelled to do so—because this wasn’t just an ordinary safari trip; it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience in every detail.

From the start, Humphrey’s attention, assistance, and incredibly detailed advice were impressive. Then came the highlight of our trip—our amazing guide Godwin, with whom we spent six unforgettable days. My phone and camera memories were filled with stunning shots and breathtaking moments. The information he shared about nature and wildlife was fascinating. His calm demeanor and attentiveness to our safety were exceptional.

Khalid was also with us during the trip, preparing delicious meals every day. The food was simply wonderful. On our final day, when we visited the... Read more Materuni Waterfalls, we were accompanied by Hudhaifa, whose energy and liveliness made the day even more joyful—it was filled with incredible moments.

In the end, I must say I will never forget the moment we saw a group of leopards, a herd of elephants, or how each national park had its own unique natural charm. Even the animals that visited our camp in Ngorongoro were part of this unforgettable adventure.

Thank you to everyone for the memories you’ve etched into our hearts. I’m sure they’ll stay with us for a very long time.

Incredible
5/5

An unforgettable experience both on a human level and for the pleasure of the eyes!
5/5

We had an unforgettable safari with Eliis (driver-guide) and Kitchuya (cook)!

We selected the 5-day, 4-night safari option in Tarangire (1) - Serengeti (2) - Ngorongoro (1).

Eliis accompanied us from day 2 (Serengeti) and was truly amazing! He passionately shared his knowledge of wildlife and the country in general. He is very open and answered any questions we had. The logistics were also impeccable, and if there were any issues, Ellis or Cub Expedition always provided a quick solution.

We had the pleasure of eating the dishes prepared by Kitchuya, which were delicious (we especially loved the soups, which we never left a drop in the pot!)

Besides the impeccable supervision of this trip and the personal encounters, we will never forget the landscapes and animals Eliis introduced us to; he knows all the best spots!

We opted for the two-night lodge option, including one at the Serengeti Heritage Lodge, which we recommend because the setting is... Read more incredible, as are the surroundings (buffalo and mongooses nearby).

In short, if you're still unsure which company to hire for your safari, don't hesitate any longer; you've found it!

Had a great trip!

Amazing Safari – Big Thanks to Eli & Humphrey!
5/5

We had the best time on safari! Everything was super well organized by Humphrey – easy communication, no stress, and even though there were some changes with our flights, he was able to adjust our itinerary without any issues.

Our guide Eli was absolutely fantastic. He was always on time, full of good energy, very knowledgeable, and really went the extra mile to make sure we had the best views of the animals. He’d always try to get us right in front for the perfect angle. He shared fun personal stories, made us laugh, and was just a genuinely positive and helpful person – even helping other guides along the way.

We felt lucky to have him – he made the whole experience fun, relaxed, and unforgettable.

If you’re going on safari, definitely book with Cubs Expeditions and ask for Eli as your guide. Can’t recommend them enough!

Asante sana! 🐘🦁🦓

Congratulations to the entire Cubs Expeditions team, Humphrey, Sam, Hasam, Halidy, thank you very much, friends.
5/5

Humphrey and his agency, Cub Expeditions, provided us with unsurpassed service. Before the trip to Tanzania, he helped us plan our safari. He quickly resolved any changes we made, and his service was very professional and friendly, even though he was in Tanzania and we were in Bilbao, Spain. 10/10 for Humphrey.

Regarding the driver from the airport to our hotel in Arusha, everything went smoothly.

Regarding the English-speaking guide and driver for Arusha, Hasam was wonderful. He took us in the van to the sites we were visiting. He took us up to see the views of Mount Meru, a food market, a Maasai market, and cultural heritage sites. He ate at a very nice place, and he dropped us off at our hotel.

Regarding the Spanish-speaking guide and driver for the Safari, Samuel is an incredible person, and his 24-hour service was unsurpassed. He helped us with everything, took care of us at all times, and was patient, prudent, and kind, despite the work and fatigue of driving... Read more for so long. I hope he's lucky and highly valued because he's a hard worker everyone would want to have in their company.

Regarding Chef Halidy, he was also a 10-star cook. We ate better than at home: meat, chicken, fish, vegetables, creams, fruit, avocados, crepes, tortillas, etc. He was very friendly, and we were very well looked after at mealtimes.

Regarding the safari through Tarangine, Serengeti, Norongoro, and Manyara, it was impressive, and we saw every possible animal except rhinos and leopards, because they're difficult to see. The Serengeti Park is a bit challenging to drive in a jeep, and the most beautiful, for me, is Norongoro; the scenery was incredible.

Regarding the accommodations, we booked a lodge and a campsite, and we adapted to them. Camping is always limited in amenities, and it's important to assess whether it's suitable for us before booking.

Congratulations, friends, we will always recommend you!

GREAT SAFARI EXPERIENCE!
5/5

Our safari experience with Cub Expeditions was magnificent. Booking was very smooth, thanks to the prompt service, flexibility, and advice of its manager, Humphrey, who helped us plan the safari months before our trip to Tanzania, adapting it without any problem to our dates, circumstances, and requirements (we wanted a Spanish-speaking guide).
The entire agency staff was very professional, from Humphrey himself to the drivers who transferred us from the airport and served as our guides in Arusha.

We would like to give special mention to the two people who accompanied us during the five-day safari: Halidy (the chef) and Samuel (the guide and driver).

Regarding the Spanish-speaking guide and jeep driver for the safari, Samuel, his work was excellent: he knows the parks, the animals, their habits perfectly, and he took care of us with patience, prudence, and kindness. Cub Expeditions is fortunate to have him on board.

Regarding Chef Halidy, he was a fantastic... Read more cook, who was also very empathetic and caring about us at all times. The meals (all of them: breakfast, lunch, dinner): meat, chicken, fish, vegetables, soups, rice, pasta, fresh fruit, crepes... were spectacular. He even took an interest in our food preferences, allergies, and habits.

Our safari took place in the Tarangire, Serengeti, Norongoro Conservation Areas, and Lake Manyara. Highly recommended. We saw almost every animal possible except the rhino and leopard.

In conclusion, Cub Expeditions is a perfect agency, run by professionals, offering an excellent value safari experience. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience
5/5

We had an amazing experience on our safari. When I saw how vast the Serengeti is, I thought it would be very difficult to spot animals — but we saw almost all of them! We saw around 20 lions in just two days, some of them incredibly close, which was truly unforgettable.

Our guide, Eliis, was fantastic. At first, he seemed a bit serious, but once he realized he could be part of our group, everything changed. We laughed a lot together, and he shared so much interesting information about the animals. This really shows how adaptable he is — if you just want a quiet driver, he’ll respect that. But we wanted someone to share the experience with us, and he became a great part of it.

The cook was also excellent. The food was tasty, and we always had enough water and even some Coke with our meals.

A last-minute safari made unforgettable by our skilled guide Samwel and incredible Chef Yusuph
5/5

Since we booked so late the team made some special arrangements and we were able to join a 3 person safari with Cubs Expeditions that was already doing their 2nd day. Our group of 5 headed to Serengeti for a night, then to Ngorongoro for a night, and then Mto Wa Mbu for a night, which is where the 3 other passengers wrapped up their safari. We then finished our safari the next day as a group of 2 at Tarangire. Very thankful they made it all happen so fast and we were able to do a safari!

Our guide, Samwel was a master of the infamous Land Cruiser that took us around for the next 4 days. Samwel skillfully navigated around the parks to find lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, hyenas, herds of wildebeest and zebras, and so many other animals, trees, and plants. It’s unbelievable that we saw big cats every day! We really enjoyed asking Samwel questions, and he always had a detailed answer every time. Samwel was great at pointing out all the new animals and plants during the game drives... Read more and would list out facts, explain how other animals and plants depended on each other, and tell some fun related stories about what we were looking at. We loved hearing about his life in Tanzania, learning about his favorite animal (elephant), and learning about the local people in each region. Everything ran on schedule and we never ran late or lost time doing game drives. Samwel even got stung by a bee in Tarangire and he kept going without any complaints. Unstoppable.

Our chef, Yusuph was incredible! The first thing you will notice is the craftsmanship in his cooking specifically the variety of the food he prepares for breakfast, lunch, dinner, the depth of the flavors, and the presentation. Each day we had a different menu for each meal, which included a mix of local Tanzania food, international, and a fusion of both. My favorite was ugali, shawarma wrap, caramelized banana, tomato relish pizza, pepper steak, fresh vegetables with various sauces, avocado fruit salad (matunda na parachichi), and crepes. We learned that he is currently learning to master pastries, which was evident in the breakfasts and the various baked items and desserts prepared for dinner.

We look forward to driving with Samwel again and eating the new recipes that Yusuph cooks up in the future. Thank you so much for an unforgettably safari.
