raw a d unforgettable safari experience friendly and professional
Our guide was absolutely amazing — full of wisdom, knowledge, and incredibly attentive to every little detail. He spoke *perfect French*, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable and easy to follow from start to finish.
The car was a bit old at first glance, but once we hit the road, we understood why — the adventure tracks are real! Even a one-year-old car would show signs of the journey here.
Ngorongoro Crater was absolutely *breathtaking*. Standing up through the special high roof and taking in the views as we drove was a highlight on its own — such a small detail, but it made a huge difference and added to the thrill of the entire journey.
The food throughout the tour was *incredible*. We chose one of the more affordable packages, so we stayed in simple lodges, but they were way above our expectations — *all* of them had swimming pools, which was such a treat after long days on the road. For the price we paid, the quality of accommodation really surprised us in the best way.
We spent two nights in the Serengeti — one at Nyani Campsite, which is open to self-drive tours as well. It was *the* experience. Sleeping in a tent out in the bush, with guards keeping watch and the sounds of nature around us, was both a little scary and completely unforgettable. That night under the stars, waking up to the sunrise in the wild, is something we’ll always remember.
The next lodge in the Serengeti wasn’t luxurious, but it was big, clean, and had a pool again. Perfect after a day of game drives. The company also had a photographer with us, capturing moments along the way — a lovely extra touch.
Every meal was delicious, and honestly, we don’t know what else to say except *thank you*. This wasn’t just a holiday — it was a real adventure. Peaceful, wild, and something we’ll carry with us forever

Title: Unforgettable Safari Experience in Tanzania with Ngekewa Safaris
Rating: ★★★★★ (5 stars)
Review:
I had an incredible experience in Tanzania, thanks to Ngekewa Safaris! My son and I embarked on a journey that took us from the fascinating Hadzabe and Masai tribes to the majestic Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
Ngekewa Safaris tailored the safari perfectly to our needs, making it suitable and enjoyable for both of us. The team was incredibly professional, and the guide was very knowledgeable about the local cultures, wildlife, and landscapes, which made the trip even more enriching.
The visit to the Hadzabe tribe was a highlight – we got a firsthand look at their unique way of life, and it was a real eye-opener. The Masai tribe also welcomed us with warmth and shared their traditions, which were fascinating to learn about.
The Serengeti was everything I had hoped for and more. The vast landscapes and the wildlife sightings were absolutely breathtaking – we saw the Big Five and much more. Similarly, the Ngorongoro Crater was a highlight – the crater floor is teeming with animals, and it’s an experience I will never forget.
The safari was comfortable and well-paced, and I felt safe and taken care of throughout the trip. Both my son and I had an unforgettable adventure, and I would recommend Ngekewa Safaris to anyone looking for an authentic and family-friendly Tanzanian safari experience.
Thank you, Ngekewa Safaris, for making this trip so memorable!

Top-notch tour operator with exceptional services and expert guides ensuring a great safari.
Tanzania is a land of wonders, and my recent safari with Ngekewa Tours and Safaris truly encapsulated that magic. From the moment our adventure began, every detail was meticulously planned, always on time, with an exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging tour guide who brought every landscape to life.
Exploring the Ngorongoro Conservation Area was nothing short of breathtaking. The vast, untouched vistas and the vibrant array of wildlife made every moment feel like a scene from a nature documentary. The sheer beauty of the conservation area left me spellbound, and it was clear that every aspect of the trip was designed to offer an immersive, unforgettable experience.
Overall, this safari was a perfect blend of professional service and raw natural beauty. For anyone looking to experience Tanzania in its most authentic form, I highly recommend setting off on a journey with Ngekewa Tours and Safaris you won't be disappointed!

Very good safari but some logistics issues
I joined a 4-day group safari to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. It was followed by a private day trip to visit the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes.
All in all, a good company, but it could be more organized and transparent. It is not an issue for most travelers, but I expected game drives from the camps in Serengeti and Ngorongoro to start before sunrise to see the most animal activity and have the most beautiful light for photography. Before the safari, I specifically inquired with the company about the game drives starting at sunrise, and they said yes, they would start at sunrise. I know it is often not done by most companies, but when I get a reply that it will start at sunrise, I expect that to happen—otherwise, I would have chosen a different company.
The main issue was that the car had clients from several different companies, and people had 2-3 different accommodations. Therefore, it took time to drop off and pick up everyone.
The start from Serengeti was supposed to be at sunrise but was 2 hours later at 08:30. Departure from the campsite in Ngorongoro was at 7:30, arriving in the crater at 8:15, which is almost 2 hours after sunrise. Staying at that campsite was advertised as an opportunity to "start with the first light" to see the most active wildlife.
On day 4, we departed the hotel at 9 instead of 8, then waited 30 minutes for other clients, arriving in Tarangire at midday, which is the worst time to be there.
We had 7 people instead of 6 as advertised in the tour documentation.
Positives:
Very good driver-guide, Simba, knowledgeable about wildlife and their behavior. We were lucky to have very good wildlife spotting on the first day in Serengeti, seeing all of the Big Five in one day. Car was good, accommodations were good, and food was good. The national parks visited are world-class, with incredible opportunities for animal spotting and photography.
So if you want to optimize your schedule, pick a private safari or a bigger company that has everyone in the same accommodation. Maybe starting early does not matter to you—in such a case, there is no problem recommending Ngekewa.

Excellent driver for our tour
I booked the 5 day safari for me and my mum.
We chose to pay for the medium range. Everything was excellent. Our driver Jackson was patient and informative. He did his best to make sure we got the best views of the animals
The food and accomodation during the safari was excellent. Very clean and tidy with amazing staff. We had a pool at one of the lodges which my mum enjoyed. The luxury tents lived up to the name luxury.
The review is 4 stars not 5 stars because:
We asked the operate to book accomodation for before and after the safari and this was a let down. It did not meet the expectations ( dirty bathrooms with unpleasant odour)
Secondly there were 4 of us to start in the car but we were all at different accomodation. This meant we spent about 1-2 hours just driving to the accomodation to pick up other people at the start of the day as well at the end of the day when everyone has to be dropped off. We felt this could have been planned better
Overall it was a great trip. I would highly recommend this

Perfect safari, above expectations
I chose Ngekewa because I was immediately struck by the speed of response that others did not have and so bye. I changed the 5-day safari because I wanted to do one more in the Serengeti and never was a happier decision. The Serengeti is simply extraordinary, there was a multitude of wildebeest still in migration. Elephants, buffalo, hippos, many hyenas, one intent on eating with us very close, but what is incredible is the high number of lions. Already done safaris in Africa, but never seen so many. Our guide, Burton, perfect always put himself in the best position for photos. Priceless. Food no lunch box in the box with sandwiches or pre-prepared doses but thermal bag, plates, cutlery etc and containers with rice, meat dish, vegetable and fruit dish. I add tablecloth. Top service. Beautiful lodges, the tented camp in the Serengeti with 2 large beds, colonial furniture and private bathroom. The lions kept us company during the two nights we spent there. Exciting.
