Most epic safari adventure with the ride of a lifetime ..
Tales of Tanzania Safaris has planned out a most epic safari adventure with the sensorial immersive experience awakening our senses with awe and delight ! They are accommodating and experience in our needs and expectation of a great safari trip . They are fast and responsive in all our queries and concern . We had a most memorable exciting trip with a most experience professional guide and driver Dismus . Highly recommend them indeed !!

Best tour operator ever - totally spoilt us in every way
We had a wonderful trip (10 days safari and 4 days Zanzibar), totally spoilt with everything (accommodation, food, drinks and sightings) and wonderful hospitality. Booking was made very easy with quick replies to our numerous enquiries from Pendo. She kept us informed all the way, managing our group of 5 form 4 different countries. Nothing was too difficult, so it made planning the trip a breeze. Payment was also very flexible, as some of us paid by WISE whilst others by bank transfer.
When we arrived in Killimanjaro, we were met by Dismas - our guide for the next 10 days. We saw lots of animals - some up close and personal especially prides of lions (a few times). Most spectacular was a couple millions of flamingos at Lake Natron - and unforgettable sight.
A great shout out to Dismas and Said (our guide in Zanzibar), both wonderful guides. Said in particular (as you mentioned) was a walking historical encyclopedia and such a gentleman.
I would recommend Tales of Tanzania anytime!

Efficient, exceptionally responsive, great communication and organisation
We had an 8 day safari with Tales of Tanzania in September and then a short trip to Zanzibar. This has been a trip on our bucket list and all communication has been excellent and prompt from Pendo. She is been amazing in accommodating our requests. During our safari, our guide Dismas made every effort to make our trip special, our highlights were we saw the most amazing flock of two million flamingoes, a pride of lionesses with their cubs, male lions up close 5 feet away and the amazing wilder west river crossing. All our accommodation was very comfortable, the Melia at Ngorongoro was breathtaking with stunning views. I highly recommend Tales of Tanzania if you want to do this special trip, I thought their pricing was very competitive for the type of accommodation we had and we were very happy. Thank you Pendo and Dismas for an amazing time, A+++++

Professional with very personal touch.
Pendo made note of all our requests and made sure that our trip was memorable for all the right reasons. She was very prompt in replying to emails and messages.
Given the fact that the trip was planned late for the peak season visit she has still managed to get us a very good accommodations and got us a very good driver guide. Who knew where to be and when.

Excellent choice for customized Safaris
If you want to book one of the standard packages, I think any tour operator is fine. However we had many customizations we needed to make to our itinerary. We wanted to stay with specific lodges and we needed to shuffle the ordering of visiting them due to our flights. Pendo was excellent in working with us through each of our requests, and she managed to do it in a tight timeframe after our original flights needed to be changed. We managed to have an excellent time in Zanzibar and Tanzania

Very prompt response and clear communication.
Pendo from Tales of Tanzania has been very responsive since the start. All information was communicated clearly through email. Booking was easy and all the transaction were done without much issue.
Our guide, Naiman, was very helpful and the best we could ever ask for. He was kind and always gave his best effort to ensure we got to see all the animals, including the wildebeest migration.
Despite there was some miscommunication about the hot air balloon arrangement during our trip in Serengeti, Pendo and Naiman had given their best effort to manage and ensure we got to enjoy this amazing experience.
We definitely strongly recommend both Tales of Tanzania and our guide.

Very organized and everything went smootly

Amazing experience from start to finish!!! Pendo was always so responsive timely!
We did a family safari early March 2024 for 8N/9D. It was completely amazing!!! Pendo, Tales team, Thadei (our guide) made the whole trip so fun and easy!! Everything was so well organized from start to finish! Completely tailored to our needs, pricing etc Pendo answered the millions of questions I had accurately and timely hehe From pick up to airport to drop off, all was taken care of, from the park fees entries, hotels, itinerary ALL!!! That made it easy with our 9 and 3 years old child and for a first experience to Africa mainland and a Safari! I could'nt think of anything that did not go well! And as a tip and maybe we were lucky, but weather was perfect and sunny!! We had like 1h of rain in the whole trip for the big ''rainy season'' that starts in March!! We saw all the animals, at Ndutu for the calving season, millions of them in one day! Plus lions cheetahs, leopard, elephants, rhino, hippo etc All day always!!! Ngorongoro Crater was a really nice highlight the area is very nice!!! Same for Tarangire to start with, Manyara, Serengeti! In fact all was TOP!! A perfect itinerary would highly recommend :) Thanks!!!
