Friendly Informative and helpful everything they could do to make our tour awesome was done
5/5

Organised the gorilla tour with NSAVI and then our airline cancelled our flight so we arrived about 6 hours later than expected to the hotel in Entebbe and much to my surprise and delight Vicki and Francis where there at the hotel to meet us and make sure we arrived safely and were looked after when we did. The hotel was awesome with a well needed sundowner shared with our guide and Vicki before a briefing about our adventure the next day.
Francis was awesome on the long drive from Entebbe to Bwindi stopping when we needed to so we could take photos and look at the amazing scenery and wildlife. We stopped at a local village and sampled some local foods before continuing on.
Overnight at Ichumbi Lodge and a bit of walk and leg stretch through the nearby local village meeting some of the local youngsters built an appetite for a delicious dinner.
Next morning up early and a short drive before arriving at the jump off point Francis arranged guides and let us know about the costs and who and how much to tip making it so easy to relax and enjoy the whole event.
The walk in to the jungle was not overly difficult and the gorilla family was accommodating meeting us half way and the we got to spend a wonderful hour with the silver-back gorilla and his family.
At the end we got to enjoy a free African back massage that would enthral 4wd aficionados on the drive out. A stop and boat trip on Lake Bunyoni to our overnight accommodation relaxed us all and then quite a few drinks and a lovely meal ended a long but exciting day
Next day the drive back and Francis introduced us to his favourite music and we introduced him to the Australian band The Angels. We stopped and met some locals at a fruit stall on a country road and sampled some delicious fresh fruit as sustenance on the trip back to the hotel
A fantastic journey with a guide that became as much a mate as a guide. No question was too silly and Francis had pretty much all the answers
On our arrival Vicki was there to greet us and to make sure our trip was everything we wanted it to be. Job done guys
I can recommend NSAVI Safaris with the highest possible praise, bent over backwards to make us feel comfortable safe and secure and to give us the experience of a lifetime with the mountain gorillas

You have to choose Nsavi Safaris for your tour in Uganda! They exceed all expectations!
5/5

Nsavi Safaris is a recently founded agency, but brings a lot of experience. We went on a 3 day gorilla trekking with them and they really went beyond all expectations! The whole trip was perfectly planned, even the tiniest details had its purpose and aimed to satisfy us and give as much as it was possible during a 3 day trip. Our guide was Jacob, a friendly, smiling guy, who was knowledgeable, never tired of our questions and was also a good driver. The accommodation near Bwindi (Ichumbi Lodge) and at Lake Bunyonyi (Birds Nest Resort) were astonishing, with great people and perfect food. Jacob and the agency owner, Victoria made sure we taste Ugandan specialties, like rolex and baked green bananas. We stopped by an ananas street vendor where we were offered the worlds best, freshly chopped ananas and we also visited a drum manufacturer. Jacob even took care when selecting the group for us for the trekking and he stopped the car whenever we wanted to take pictures. The car was comfortable too. The trip was amazing, all went so smoothly you only could dream of. They even cared about the environment by not distributing small plastic water bottles during the trip, but we received metal bottles as gifts and those were refilled when needed. We even received Ugandan coffee and myself an African-themed cosmetic bag as presents, which was super kind. Victoria was always responsive during our correspondence to plan the trip, tried to help us to get travel insurance. She even visited us in person at the accommodation back in Entebbe. Nsavi Safaris is the agency you have to travel with when in Uganda, as EVERYTHING WAS MORE THAN PERFECT and they really DID THEIR BEST to satisfy needs!!! We are really thankful that we could have such an experience in Uganda.

Unforgettable safari!!
5/5

We had an amazing 5 days safari in Uganda (6 people) and everything was wonderful. This was our first safari experience in Africa and it was much better than expected! The tour was well organized every step and timely communication from the office team who answered questions that we had to make this first trip possible even with COVID 19.
Our trip was mainly to Kidepo and Murchison. Kidepo was a long journey but worth it as we saw a lot along the way and the wildlife didn’t disappoint. Our guide Francis was knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel safe the whole trip.
We had a surprise morning bush breakfast in kidepo bush, spotted lions on the rock, giraffes, buffalos, visiting the village of Karamojong people. Murchison was a whole different experience, we spotted hyenas and leopards had a sundowner where we had the tastiest pineapple and small sweet bananas. The last day we visited the top of the falls,, this is a must-see!
On our way back, visited the rhino sanctuary and saw 3 rhinos on our guided walk here. Overall our trip was perfect and we look forward to visiting very soon.

Amazing 3 days to queen Elizabeth tour
5/5

I and my 3 friends were pleased with Nsavi safaris. The team was extremely helpful in what was a challenging time to arrange our short holiday. First, our flight from Kigali got delayed so we arrived hours later than we had hoped and planned. we had the mandatory tests at the airport, waited for the results and as soon as we had them, Nicolas drove us to Queen Elizabeth as we had to maximize the short 3 days visit. The stay at Mweya safari Lodge was amazing and we woke up to the sound of hippos in the morning. Elephants came close to the lodge on our second night and it was the first time to see them that close. The game drive and boat ride were great too. Would 100% use again.

Trip of a lifetime!
5/5

I dealt with a few different tour operators on our trip to Africa, but Nsavi was by far the best! We booked a gorilla trekking safari with them and it was absolutely incredible! Their communication was excellent, Sarah always responded promptly to my questions and emails which made booking and coordinating our trip much easier. She came and met us at our hotel before we headed to Bwindi and was great at ensuring everything with our trip went smoothly. Our guide Lambert was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable about the region. Seeing the gorillas was a magical once in a lifetime experience that we'll never forget! On our return to Entebbe, the flight arrived earlier then expected due to weather and the plane schedules, which was no problem. To our delight, Sarah arranged for us to go to a hotel for the day (until our flight later in the evening) where we were able to rest by the pool and have lunch, and even arranged a driver to return us to the airport. This perfectly illustrates how Sarah and Nsavi went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience on our trip! I'm really happy and feel very fortunate we were able to have such a wonderful gorilla trekking experience thanks to Nsavi!

Our Ugandan safari exceeded our expectations and provided us with memories to last a lifetime!
5/5

I travelled with Nsavi Safaris for 15 days with my wife, mother and mother in-law. The trip that was planned by Victoria and executed by Jasper, was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives.
From my first contact with Victoria she responded quickly and thoroughly to any questions or adjustments that I wished to make to the trip. This exceptional communication gave me confidence in the professionalism and knowledge of Nsavi.
Victoria customised our safari to allow us to see everything we wanted to see, at a budget and comfort level that suited us.
Uganda is a remarkably diverse, beautiful and interesting place that our guide, Jasper, and Victoria are so passionate about sharing with the world. Whilst it may not be as well known as some of the other safari destinations in Africa, Uganda has absolutely everything that one could hope for in a Safari with the added bonus of an absolutely remarkable culture, stunning and varied landscape and (currently) less tourists than some of its neighbours.
The quality of the accomodations that we stayed in during our trip were excellent and the service provided at each location was absolutely outstanding.
The vehicle that Nsavi provided for us was one of the best that we saw whilst on safari, with larger windows and in better condition than most others.
Jasper was an amazing guide, he was professional and dedicated as well as passionate and a lot of fun. He took on any hints of what we may want and worked tirelessly to bring these desires to life. We managed to fit in more experiences during our trip than any of us thought possible, and Jasper was the key to making these happen.
The wildlife viewing that we were treated to was phenomenal with so many highlights that we could not pick between them. We saw all of the animals that we had hoped for, up close and personal and quite often without another car or person in sight. Having recently completed a safari in Tanzania, the contrast between the 2 with regards to the volume of tourists is stark and would lead me to choose Uganda as my safari destination of choice.

Thank you so much Victoria and Jasper.

Great safari experience
5/5

We started our 10 days safari in Entebbe. It covered all major west south national parks. First we visited Murchison falls NP which was great; specially the rhinos. We also leked the walk to the falls, but 3hours boat trip was to long. In this NP we haven’t seen as much wild life as we expected. On the other hand we loved Kibale NP, the chimpanzees tracking was great. We would absolutely recommend to do the lion experiental tour in Elizabeth NP where we saw a lot of lions and leopards from very close range. At last we went to Bwindi impenetrable NP where we had great time with mountain gorillas family in the rain forest. We were lucky with the weather and the time to find them.
Our first lodge Pakuba safari has seen better days and we don’t recommend it. The Turaco Tree Tops lodge was amazing, as well as the Haven lodge Buhoma in Bwindy.
Our tour guide Jacob was fantastic and very knowledgeable, gave us profound picture of this part of Uganda, including local habits, the way of life…

Journey of a Lifetime: Nsavi Safaris Delivers Excellence in our 8-Day Uganda Safari Experience
5/5

We had an incredible 8 day trip through Uganda with Nsavi Safaris and it was truly amazing. The communication with Victoria prior to the trip was professional, friendly and on point at all times. Victoria organized every detail to our requests and provided us with detailed information about our upcoming adventure.

Our driver and guide Bob was crucial in making our experience in Uganda outstanding. His attentiveness and dedication ensured that every request was met and his extensive knowledge of the country added depth to our trip. Throughout the trip we always felt safe and comfortable thanks to Bob's knowledge and care.

The time we spent exploring Uganda was simply wonderful, with unforgettable stays in lodges, encounters with nature and the creation of lasting memories. The stunning landscapes and incredible wildlife of Uganda made it a very special destination.

Exceeded expectations, couldn't have asked for more from NSAVI or Uganda
5/5

My partner and I did an 8 day safari with Nsavi on a custom planned loop from Kampala - Kibale - Queen Elizabeth NP - Bwindi - Lake Mburo - Kampala.

We chose Nsavi because Victoria was the most responsive of the companies we contacted, with professionally put together itineraries and communication. We exchanged many emails exploring different itinerary options, customisations and timings until settling on a final custom plan.

Our guide and driver Francis was excellent - professional, relaxed, friendly and insightful. It was a pleasure to spend our week with him on the road. We saw everything we hoped to and more, everything explained clearly and easy to understand. The vehicle was also excellent, we saw many that didn't look as good - better a proper Landcruiser safari vehicle than a converted minivan that some operators use. Francis was an excellent driver even on challenging slippery mountain roads.

I think we made the perfect choice choosing Nsavi and Uganda for our safari holiday. Uganda seems much less touristy than neighbouring countries and offers a wider variety of experiences - from the hot dry savanna to primates in the high mountains. Many times we were the only vehicle in sight, even on special activities like lion and leopard tracking.

If I had to make a small complaint it would be about some aspects of the acommodation, small things like the showers not working well where we stayed in Kibale and Bwindi, and the food choices were all very western orientated - not much in the way of more local options. The food at the lodges was always good, but it would have been nice to be able to try more local dishes.

My only regret is not adding a few more days as our itinerary was quite packed. Particularly adding another night in Lake Mburo to do more of the walking safari, and perhaps a few days more to visit the parks in the north, but that could be another trip.

We hope to visit Uganda again in the future and would not hesitate in booking with Nsavi and asking for Francis. A fantastic trip from beginning to end. Highly recommended.

Fantastic 10 day trip in Uganda with Nsavi Safaris
5/5

I decided to travel to Uganda only for the Gorilla trekking, but decided, since in the country, I would visit other places it had to offer. Thank God I did so. This country is amazing. Above all expectations. So diverse. While driving through the country with my fantastic driver Jacob, I could not take my eyes off the scenery and views. Breathtaking. Although some trips were quite long, they were not tiresome. Jacob would go out of his way to make me feel comfortable, have enough “bathroom” breaks , and fresh fruit, bought from the local sellers. Always with a smile on his face and so proud of his country.
I travelled alone and decided to book everything through a local tour operator. I opted for Nsava Safaris because from the first email I wrote to them, Victoria proved to be the professional and passionate person she is. She was so patient and caring during the whole booking process and always there for me when I had problems and answered all my questions. I also received a welcome gift from them, an African themed cosmetic bag and Ugandan coffee, which by the way is my favorite. I would only drink that.
The lodges were perfect, the staff very kind and helpful, and food excellent. Jacob also made me taste local Ugandan food. Very good indeed, especially the grasshoppers!!! Thank you Jacob
If you want to visit Africa, you must go to Uganda. If you need a tour operator, you must choose Nsavi Safaris. Not only for the hard work they put in making sure everything is perfect for the traveler, but also because it is a young company, with young employees, nonetheless with so much experience and knowledge. And the manager director is Victoria, a young courageous lady who has decided to open her own company.
Thank you so much for this great holiday. Hope to see you soon. Webale!!
