White Plains Safaris provided very good service, competent planning and execution of the trip.
We spent a seven day safari in Kenya with White Plains Safaris and can highly recommend them.
Our driver and guide Joseph took us to the most beautiful places in the national parks where we could observe the animals in peace. He gave us as much time as we wanted for photographing and enjoying. Thanks to his very great knowledge of the diverse wildlife, we were able to learn a lot about the animals in Africa. During the seven days we were on the road with Joseph, we could learn a lot about Kenya, the people and the life. The many conversations during the trip were a great enrichment.
This beautiful safari and getting to know Joseph will remain in our memories for a long time.

Capturing every moment!
Recently, me and my family went on safari together. I didn’t know what to expect and I could of never have expected how great this adventure has been. From day 1 until the end we have had a incredible time. Especially because of Joseph, he took us to wonderful places and has learned us so much about animals. He shared his compassion with us and we are grateful that he did, because he made this adventure so much more. On the first day he asked us if we wanted to go to a lake with hippo’s where you could go on a boat to a island, first we didn’t know for sure but we did it after all and I’m glad we did. It was amazing! You could see the hippo’s from so close and the island was full of birds I have never seen before. Later that day we went to the first park and it was unbelievable, we saw flamingo’s, Monkeys, zebras, girrafes, buffelos, lions and even a few black rhinos! Joseph gave us the time that we needed to observe these animals and take pictures. At the end of the day we arrived somewhere beautiful where we would spend the night. And I knew from that moment that this would be the best vacation I have ever had and I can tell you, it was!
The second day we went to a different park, where we developed a game! We made a list of the animals and gave each sort of animal an amount of points. For example the zebra was 10 points and the lion was 200 points. The person who saw the type of animal as first gets the points. This was a very fun game to play during the drive trough the park and of course Joseph won! He makes every animal special, from seeing a bird to a lion, it doesn’t matter, he will tell you about them with so much joy. Again, the place where we stayed was beautiful and the food was delicious! Every day we would get a lunch box for during the drive and I loved every bite of it. Sometimes we would get out of the car and go picnicking with an incredible view of wild beasts.
My favourite moment of the vacation was seeing the wild beasts cross over. It is the most beautiful and incredible thing I have ever seen in my life. It looks cool on video but the real life experience is so much more! That is something I have learned on this trip, capture every moment, because you see things you maybe wont ever see again. And I did. I captured every moment of this trip and I will never forget how great it has been. Thank you Joseph and Emanuel for this great adventure you have given us. It wouldn’t have been so special without you!

Our personalized trip encompassed visits to Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Amboseli.
The game viewing was exceptional. We witnessed the incredible trek of wildebeests right at Mara River. It was spectacular.

Joseph, was superb, gentle, and very knowledgeable about the fauna and animals.
We had the best safari experience. Our guide was experienced and knew where exactly to spot all the animals. He stopped so we can take pictures. Very fortunate to catch the sunset too. We saw giraffes, rhinos, lions, zebras, antelopes and many animals that were unknown to us. His driving skills, second to none. Best day

Consumate professional, willing and able to meet the most exacting requirements
We worked with WPS on a very demanding professional photography project, requiring a highly specific itinerary, complex local interactions and logistics arrangements and, above all, the ability to constantly adjust nearly every aspect of the trip is response to new information, success (or failure) of specific goals and other environmental conditions. Joseph was not only able to handle every single curveball Kenya threw at us, but to do this always calmly and very efficiently. He not only met our requirements, but exceeded them. We are currently planning a new expedition in Kenya and WPS will be our partner.

Amazing Safari with amazing guide
The Safari was beyond our expectations. The hotels were very nice and cozy, and Joseph our guide is a very nice person. He knows a lot about animals and is great looking for them. We were able to see the big five and lots of more animals we did not even know they exist.
We loved the route he chose for us, because we squeezed every second of the days. We had a 8 nights Safari through Kenia and Tanzania and we visited the most important parks of both country's
The car was very comfortable and spacious.

Awesome safari!
This was our first safari and such an unforgettable experience. Communication with Joseph, the tour operator, was quick and easy. The proposed itinerary he provided was informative and we were able to easily modify it before finalizing everything. We enjoyed all the places we stayed at and there was something unique about each one. The game drives were just wow (super sawa sawa!). The tour guides/drivers (John in Kenya and Rajam in Tanzania) put in a lot of effort in finding the animals at the top of our list (leopard, rhino, calves, as well as a cheetah hunt and the most awesome selfie with an elephant). Each game drive was unique. There were so many encounters that left us awestruck—we’re still ooh ahhh-ing over our pictures and processing everything we experienced. Joseph was with us for the whole trip; he was quite knowledgeable about birds, which was a bonus. He also assisted with logistics (providing documents quickly for visas needed prior to arrival, getting us through border crossings, arranging dinner reservations at a restaurant we wanted to go to prior to taking us to the airport). This was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had and we have White Plains Safaris to thank for that. They are reliable, prompt, friendly, and well worth the money.

The best experience, beyond our expectation!
Our experience with White Plains Safaris and Joseph was amazing! The service was impeccable since the very beginning: during the reservation process Joseph was extremely helpful, flexible and very honest. After booking he supported us in any way he could, including paying for our Visas as we had some issues doing that online by ourselves! He was also very helpful in creating the itinerary, which proved to be amazing as it offered great game drives and diversity of landscape.
Things kept being perfect throughout our trip; the accommodations he had reserved were very nice and always positioned perfectly, to avoid extra driving. During the game drives he was very accommodating and always asking for our feedback to make sure we had the best time. He brought us in amazing spots thanks to his unstoppable Land Cruiser and we got to see many animals including 3 leopards from very close! We also enjoyed his company very much and he was always able to answer our questions and providing interesting insights on the animals, the parks and Kenya in general. We always felt safe and well taken care of, so I would (and will) strongly recommend Joseph and White Plains to anyone looking for a good time in Kenya and Tanzania.

Epic Kenyan Family Safari
This unforgettable and tailored experience was created by Joseph of White Plains Safari.
The anticipation for our family trip was set from the detailed itinerary provided to us a month prior to traveling.
Daily plans and travel were detailed along with what resort activities and amenities were provided throughout the trip.
Travel within Nairobi from our arrival and even local flight arrangements to each destination throughout our trip was taken care of by Joseph with consistent and daily communication. Joseph’s knowledge of Masai Mara game reserve, Malindi on the Kenyan Coast and finally Nairobi and the surrounding towns allowed my family to express our collective and individual interests and he provided solutions from shopping, dining, golf outings ,safari sights, entertainment and night life.
The level of professionalism and knowledge of Kenya allowed all of our interests to be catered to while also fulfilling our group needs and from start to finish an amazing trip with great adventures. No task was too small or too big for Joseph. Every item on the agenda was addressed with extreme dedication and commitment to excellence.
