Jenman African Safaris

Our guide was very amiable, and knowledgable. The food was excellent as were the tents and sleeping bags provided. My only criticism is that they allocated a minibus for the 10 of us with small windows not suitable for game watching, as opposed to the vans which are advertised on their website.

Trip of a lifetime

We just got back from a 21 day safari with Jenman Safaris. We started at Victoria Falls, traveled through Botswana, Namibia and ended in Cape Town, South Africa. We did a 1/2 camping, 1/2 lodging trip and the entire trip was beyond our wildest dreams. We had an incredible tour guide (thank you Jorge), the accommodations ranged from modest to what we would consider 5 star, the food was always good. The trip was well organized and took us to a variety of places including small villages, national parks and cities. I still can't believe the number of animals that we saw or the different landscapes. I would recommend this trip and Jenman Safaris for anyone that wants to have a great African experience.

I can definitely recommend the intimate Botswana and Zimbabwe encounters. It was super easy, all I had to do was sit back, relax, and enjoy myself. Every lodge experience was enjoyable and beautiful. They are a very competent and professional tour company

My family and I have recently completed a 1 month Northern experience Jenman African Safari. Our tour started in Cape Town, South Africa then going into Namibia, Botswana and ending at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. We had wonderful guides in Warren Tilling who was with us in Cape Town and up to the border of Namibia. We then had Norbert Ndlovu lead us for the rest of the tour with our driver Tanguni, who we subsequently named Mister T. These people were most knowledgeable at spotting the animals, birds and items of interest wherever we went. The locations and activities at every stop were first class. we found the facilities brilliant and the staff at each stop very friendly and accommodating. The tour was absolute value for money in all respects.
I was asked at the beginning of our tour what my aim and expectations were. My answer was to see the animals. Particularly "The Big 5".
While on our numerous Safaris I did this many times over, much to my delight. To see the various animals and birds in their natural habitat and up close was a great experience. Being at very close quarters to the Lions would be my highlight followed by the Elephants and Springboks, but they were all nice to see. The two major Wildlife Reserves where we saw most of our animals and birds were Etosha and Chobe. It was at Chobe that we saw close up Crocodiles and Hippos. We had beautiful sunset cruises on the Chobe and Zambezi Rivers, these were not to be missed. To see Victoria Falls was an amazing experience, the sight and sound of the Falls were unbelievable. A brilliant end of our tour.

We were really impressed with the fact that we had booked the Northern Safari with Jenman in 2019, but then COVID-19 intervened and threw our plans into chaos. Over two plus years we discussed this matter with Jenman and they kept the option open for us to commence our Northern Experience African Safari at no extra cost. We were able to take our trip of a lifetime In August 2022.

I had been wanting to book my first Africa trip for a long time. My consultant at Jenman took care of everything and advised me of what to expect. Every part of the trip went smoothly and the tour was well organized. The vehicle was nice and comfortable and the food was good quality with more variety than I expected. Our Guide was phenomenal, super friendly and knowledgeable and showed a real respect and love for Africa. Seeing the birds and wildlife was an unforgettable experience, one to cherish for a lifetime

The beauty of Zimbabwe was a revelation to me and with no visa required , easy, quick and cheap access and top class accommodation it really is worth a visit.Vic Falls leaves one breathless and a helicopter flight over the Falls is highly recommended. Hideways Nantwich Lodge is close to the airport and is steeped in history .The outlook over the dam is magnificent and a natural magnet for the large elephants herds and numerous specie of other wildlife. I only stayed for one night which I thoroughly enjoyed but will be back for more next year.
