Unforgettable Safari with Magilani
If we were to do another safari, we would definitely choose Magilani again.
Our honeymoon started already during the planning phase: Marzia, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful, immediately understood what we were looking for and helped us choose the perfect option for us — the 5-day “Nuove nascite” safari in February 2026. When we arrived, they even surprised us with a wonderful honeymoon gift: our jeep was personalized for us.
During the safari we were accompanied by our guide Bryson, whom we nicknamed “Hawkeye”: friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He speaks perfect Italian and taught us so much about wildlife, animal behavior and even the local tribes, making the experience even more immersive.
We were worried that five days of safari might be too long, but the time flew by. Every day brought different landscapes and an incredible number of animals: we saw many lions at very close distance and even a baby elephant just a few months old taking a bath. One image I will always remember is crossing a valley in the middle of a huge migrating herd of zebras — it felt like being inside The Lion King.
We absolutely recommend a multi-day safari, because spending at least two nights in a tented camp in the Serengeti is an unforgettable experience. The camps and the food are excellent — it’s more glamping than camping.
After the safari we ended the trip with a few relaxing days in Zanzibar, also perfectly organized by the Magilani team. Special thanks to Elisa and Marcellino.
A truly extraordinary trip, carefully organized in every detail and one we will remember for the rest of our lives. Highly recommended. ✨
