A safari tour that went above and beyond.
We are extremely happy that we decided to book Leopard Orchid Safaris. Our tour guide Paul was kind, knowledged and made our Safari the best it could have been. Paul is a super friendly person that answered all of our questions, and knew a lot of people and other guides, which meant he could always bring us to the best spots and see even the rarest of animals.
He was also very respectful towards the animals and nature which we highly appreciated. Paul also fully adjusted to our needs instead of going with some kind of practiced routine. I was personally super interested in birds, and Paul managed to tell us a lot about the different birds, managed to identify all species and stopped at any point whenever he spotted a new species.
The Safari-Truck was spaceous, comfortable and had a roof that could be opened.
We were also gifted aluminum bottles and water to keep us hydrated while the gifted safari gave us shade. We truly appreciated the gifts, the friendly staff and our tour guide Paul and will definitely choose Leopard Orchid Safari above any other Tour any day of the week.

Amazing Safari Experience
Our entire safari with Leopard Orchid Safaris was exceptional from start to finish and the whole experience exceeded all of our expectations!
This was our first time going on a safari and we chose to do a 10 day itinerary across Kenya's most famous parks. Michael the tour consultant communicated everything clearly, answering all of our queries and ensuring that the booking process was smooth and efficient. Our preferences for things like vegan food were communicated clearly to all of the lodges and we felt that everything was really well organized.
Our guide John did a truly amazing job and ensured that we had an unforgettable experience. Throughout our entire journey, John's genuine, friendly attitude and fun humor ensured that we always felt comfortable and completely safe. We opted to drive between each of the parks and despite the long distances, the hours flew by and John kept us entertained with so many interesting facts about the places and animals, answering all of our questions and demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness to guarantee that we had the best time.
John is very knowledgeable about all kinds of animals and with his expertise we saw everything that we wanted to see and more! John helped us witness some really special wildlife encounters and knew the best way to position the vehicle to capture these special moments on camera, as you can see in the photos attached. No matter which park or what time of day, John always knew the best areas to look for animals and often we were the only ones to witness these encounters. Some of the highlights include being surrounded by a pack of young lions in Samburu, spotting a leopard walking down a river bed, and witnessing two bull elephants sparring play fighting with their tusks in Amboseli.
We honestly could not have asked for a better guide and truly appreciate that we got to experience this adventure with John!
Our favourite parks that we visited were Samburu, Masai Mara and Amboseli, but even some of the shorter stops such as Nakuru and Lake Naivasha were way more interesting than we expected, and all of the lodges in each area were super impressive with high quality buffet meals and clean, comfy accomodation. Before our trip we were concerned that 10 days on safari might be a bit too intense for a first time, but this turned out to be a perfect amount of time to get a real good overview of what Kenya has to offer!
Overall we highly recommend Leopard Orchid Safaris and without a doubt would choose them again for our next safari!

Wonderful
We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Leopard Safari in Kenya! From the moment we arrived until the end of our trip, everything was perfectly organized. The team was professional, friendly, and always ready to help.
Our guide was knowledgeable and made every game drive exciting by helping us spot incredible wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, and many more. The accommodations, transportation, and itinerary were all excellent, making our family trip comfortable and stress-free.
Thank you to the entire Leopard Safari team for creating memories that will last a lifetime. We highly recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. We can't wait to return for another adventure!
Beyond amazing experience!
Everything was absolutely great from start to finish.
Elijah was so helpful planing the perfect itinerary and was extremely responsive. We were greated by the whole team at the start of our safari.
But the best was Lawrence, our guide. We were travelling with young children (3 and 5y) and he was so patient and great with the kids. They absolutely loved him.
He took us to all the best places. We saw all the animals we were hoping to see (including a stunning Leopard sight in Masai Mara). He was extremely knowledgeable and the best guide we could have hoped for!
Thank you again, we are all already missing you!

Excellent service and great communication
First I was looking at different provider of safari tours at safari bookings.com, but Leopards Orchid Safaris responded very quickly at my questions! Thanks Daniel for that. You were almost hooked to your email :) and that was great because I wanted to arrange this safari for our 25th Anniversary for my family of 6 (me, my husband, our 3 daughters 24-16-16 years ad boyfriend of my oldest daughter). For these ages the safari is just perfect. Younger children I personally would not bring along. We booked around 6 to 7 months ahead our safari tour. And when we had a problem with booking a train ticket in M-Pesa for us for later on our journey, Daniel was so kind as to book ik for me, so that we could pay this later on. That was a great service!
We were picked up at our hotel, and it was great to see that Daniel also came to greet us personally, as well as James the Director. They both did the briefing and introduced us to Lawrence (our guide).
Lawrence was, to our opinion, a great guide! A little bit quiet, just enough so that this was really our journey. But of course he would share a lot of information with us when we saw all kinds of things along the way, or just about the National Parks etc, and drove us to the best spots.
We enjoyed to have Lawrence as our guide!!! We give him also a 5-star rating :) He really took care of us and even arranged a special sundowner at a whale rock with a beautiful view.
Once again Leopard Orchid Safaris thank you for your effort to make this trip a memorable one!!!

An absolutely incredible experience for our honeymoon with an outstanding guide!
Where do I begin! We had the most incredible time on safari in Kenya with Leopard Orchid across an 8 day trip. The service and care that we received was outstanding. When I booked it I did not really know what to expect as we had never done a similar trip before. We were met at the airport by the team and given a wonderful welcome and introduced to our safari guide, Paul. This review is really all about Paul! He was the best guide we could have possibly asked for. We went to Amboseli, Navaisha, Masai Mara and Nakuru with Paul driving us across Kenya and then on game drives in the parks. His knowledge of the country and animals was amazing and elevated the trip for us. His care and passion for the wildlife and environment around him was clear to see and his passion for the animals was infectious! The information that he shared while on the game drives was so engaging- whether we had just seen on of the big five or an unexpected animal encounter. Paul had a wonderful passion for bird watching that we soon shared! He was incredibly conscious of making sure we saw all the animals that we wanted to see but we did not request this- he just did it with his vast experience and knowledge of game driving. He made recommendations and advice on when to go on the drives to maximise chances of sightings and we were always happy to oblige! Due to his experience, kindness and attentiveness- we trusted whatever he decided. He also knew so many people across Kenya in all different towns and parks which we loved! We were able to not just experience safari but also see the beautiful country of Kenya. Being able to spend so much time with Paul and getting to know him was awesome- what an absolute legend!
The hotels we chose were in the mid-level bracket and I am happy that we actually didn’t go for the more expensive options as we were out for such huge parts of the day, we barely spent any time at the hotels- the value for money was excellent. When booking them and contacting Victor, he was so attentive and responsive to queries and questions it was just excellent.
Overall, I will be recommend Leopard Orchid to any friends and family that plan on doing a safari. I can’t imagine doing it with anyone else- they gave us the best honeymoon and we will be forever grateful! Paul is the boss!

Our Second Safari with Leopard Orchid Safaris – And Once Again, Amazing!
This was our second safari in Kenya with Leopard Orchid Safaris, and once again the experience exceeded all our expectations.
This time we visited Amboseli, Tsavo East, and Tsavo West National Parks. Even though we booked during the high season with very little time before our departure, the team quickly put together an excellent itinerary, recommended fantastic accommodations with great value for money, and took all of our preferences into account. Every detail of the trip was perfectly organized, from transfers to lodge check-ins, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the safari.
A special thank you to Michael for his professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail. He made the entire planning process smooth, easy, and completely stress-free.
We would also like to thank our guide, Fred, who is a true professional. His knowledge of Kenya's wildlife, the national parks, and animal behavior is simply outstanding. We were especially impressed by Tsavo, where the vast landscape and dense vegetation make spotting wildlife much more challenging than in more open parks. Thanks to Fred's experience, patience, and exceptional tracking skills, we were able to see almost every animal we had hoped to encounter. On top of that, he shared fascinating insights about the animals, their behavior, and the unique ecosystems of each park, making every game drive even more memorable.
Throughout the entire trip, we felt that the itinerary had been carefully tailored to our interests rather than being just another standard safari package. It was clear that everyone on the team genuinely cares about creating unforgettable experiences for their guests.

We spent 6 unforgettable days exploring Kenya’s national parks with Leopard Orchid Safaris, and the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Profesional, friendly and excellent service
From the preparation stages everything went really well. Elijah made sure the itinerary was exactly what we wanted giving us expert advice .the process was explained and we accepted. Communication continued up until we boarded the flight. On arrival the director of the company and Elijah our consultant met us at the airport together with our driver/guide. After all the introductions we proceeded with our driver Lawrence a very calm cool guy who has become our friend. He took great care of us throughout the safari. I don’t think that it would have been the same without him. We have spent 8 days together and the travelling has been great fun. He showed us all that we wanted to see. Always professional attentive and always going the extra mile to keep us happy. If you book with leopard ask for Lawrence.
