Amazing Week
5/5

We spent one week in Tanzania and Kenya with CampTrek Safaris and were very satisfied with their service.

Margaret from the back office was extremely helpful and efficient, and we had two excellent drivers.

In Tanzania, Richard drove us. He was kind, calm, patient with our kids, and had an incredible eye for spotting cats and other wildlife.
In Kenya, Eric drove us. He was extremely enthusiastic and an excellent driver—he even managed to get us safely back to our last lodge on a road that was nearly impassable.

I strongly recommend this company for your holidays in these two countries.

Exceeds expectations, budget friendly, great communications, knowledgeable and skilled.

Camptrek Safaris gave our relatively large group the experience of a lifetime. John Njoroge and his team worked with us to design a tailor-made tour both in terms of the time, what we saw and experienced, and the cost.

Communication with them was seamless and prompt even though we all live half a world away. John and Lucy answered every query thoroughly and with good humor within hours of being asked. And they provided excellent direction and support for obtaining documents and other issues.

The safari itself was superb. We covered Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Nukuru, and Masai Mara. The accommodations were very good - glamping at its most fun- and came in on budget John and the drivers who accompanied us—Pili Pili and Benson—clearly strove to give us a maximum experience by exposing us to all the wildlife possible. They worked tirelessly to ensure each sighting was better than the last and everyday was full. And they succeeded! Importantly, Pili Pili and Benson are highly skilled and careful drivers over exceedingly challenging terrain.
Most of all, John and his team made this almost an extended family safari. They were caring and attentive and we learned so much from them both about the animals and about Kenya.
The only criticism I can muster is that they could not control the rain or the traffic!

Perfect experience with Camptrek at Kenya
5/5

All arrangements by Camptrek were perfect, from the itinerary, the room type, the hotel, to the Safari, the detailed explanation, the nice relationship during the travel.
My kids like staying with our driver and guide Mr.
David, who is very patient with my 10 and 12 years old boys.
During the travel booking, Ms. Rose also are very nice lady who helped us on all questions and pre-presentations. The team of Camptrek are really good and professional and I do like the travel this time.
Looking forward for another time with Camptrek at Amboseli and Mumbasa.

Africa is a feeling

This was my first time going on a safari in Kenya, and I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. Camptreck provided us with a wonderful experience—both in the pre-trip discussions and during the journey, they made us feel warm and comfortable.

Prepared a wonderful itinerary, highly organised, with extremely knowledgeable and engaging guides
5/5

Our Camptrek Safari through Kenya and Tanzania provided so many wonderful sights and experiences that will stay with us forever. From elephants mating and Kilimanjaro at Amboseli NP, to close up rhino's at Lake Nakuru, to the lions and feasting hyena's in the Masai Mara, to witnessing the extraordinary wildebeest great migration in the Serengeti, along to the spectacular Ngorongoro crater, and then finally to Zanzibar and the magical Stone Town. What a trip!!

Our guides Pilipili (Kenya) and Eliud (Tanzania) were not only really knowledgeable but also very engaging and great company.

The optional hot air balloon ride in the Serengeti was great although we were hoping the balloon would have gone to higher elevations. The walking tour in Stone Town was fascinating and although the spice plantation tour in Zanzibar was interesting the constant pressure to put your hand in your pocket got tiresome. The lodge accommodation throughout the safari was brilliant.

We highly recommend Camptrek Safaris - enjoy your adventure!
