From the moment I connected with Heather, I knew I was in good hands. Trip of a Lifetime – Unforgettable East Africa Safari
This was truly the trip of a lifetime – an experience beyond anything I could have imagined. Every detail was perfectly taken care of, from start to finish. We were incredibly lucky to be part of a great group, and everything just fell into place beautifully.
Our safari guide, Heaven, was absolutely amazing – knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about wildlife and conservation. Witnessing the Great Migration at the Mara River was nothing short of breathtaking, and gorilla trekking was an unforgettable, humbling experience in Uganda.

One absolute highlight and a must-stay in Kenya is Ololo Safari Lodge – a hidden gem that combines comfort, warmth, and stunning views right on the edge of Nairobi National Park.

Heaven is an awesome tour operator who works to ensure his clients see everything and more.
From the time I signed on, I felt completely looked after. A summary was sent that documented everything we needed to know. What questions I had were answered promptly. We saw the big five, wildebeest migration and so many more animals from both the ground and air. The balloon Safari was amazing. I have one regret, and that is not knowing enough about Zanzibar Island, and possibly fitting it in at the end of my vacation.

Look no further for a Tanzania safari tour company
Tanzania/Uganda/Zanzibar September 2-18, 2025
We were referred to Chasing Dreams Safaris Ltd. by Kellie, at Adventurelust Travel, to arrange our Safari Tour in Tanzania and Uganda. Chasing Dreams is a small company; we were well looked after and made a priority.
The team consists primarily of Heather, who does all the ground work prior to the trip and Heaven, who is the safari guide.
There were three of us on this trip. Heather was exceptional in staying within our budget, while at the same time offering us luxurious accommodations. She gave us many options from which to choose and helped us narrow down the many choices. She was extremely patient with the voluminous number of inquiries we made throughout the course of planning, which was over a year. She arranged all the intercontinental flights, booking of accommodations, ground transfers and made great suggestions for tours outside the safari. She recommended a must do, which was a hot air ballon ride and bush breakfast. It was amazing and gave such a different perspective of how vast the Serengeti is.
From beginning to end, everything went very smoothly. We were our own group and our tour was personalized and tailored to our requests and interests. She checked in throughout the trip to ensure everything was going according to plan.
Heaven greeted us at the Kiliminjaro Airport with a warm smile and promised we would enjoy every minute of our time there. He was not wrong. Heaven is professional and knowledgeable but also likes to have fun and we laughed… a lot. He was ready easily 15 minutes before our agreed pick-up times. It didn’t take him long to figure out who we were as people and what would be relevant to us. He didn’t spend a lot of time on things that did not interest us but he would still educate us and let us take a quick picture. In just four days, he was able to scout out “The Big 5”, which we all wanted to see. He was flexible to last minute changes, responsive to our questions (and there were a lot) and patient enough to let us sit as long as we wanted while keeping us on schedule. The lunches in the parks were not the typical boxed lunches we saw with other tour companies. We were treated to full meals of rice, meats, salads, sweets, tea, coffee and various alcoholic beverages. The cooler was well stocked with water and even a little cake for me on my birthday.
When a wallet was left behind at one of the lodges, we were well on our way to our next destination. Heaven immediately stopped and made numerous calls to have the wallet delivered to us, on the road, so we could stick to our agenda.
We called him the Lion Whisperer as lions seemed to be falling out of the sky. He just knew where to look and did what he could to make sure we saw everything on our long and sometimes impossible list. We all had a different “moment we’ll never forget” but Heaven’s was that we were happy and excited about everything we saw. We feel like we made a lifelong friend in Heaven.
When the safari was done, my sister and I went on to Zanzibar and her husband went to Uganda to do a golden monkey trek and gorilla habituation trek. All the flights, ground transfers and accommodations were arranged by Heather for both of these trips. Once again, the accommodations were first class and my brother-in-law said the habituation trek was the highlight of his trip.

Trustworthy company, professional and dedicated guide
Guides Heaven and Davido took our family of three on a tour of national parks such as Amboseli in Kenya, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire in Tanzania.
Our guide has excellent eyesight and has discovered numerous animals along the way. He has seen lion and cheetah families, herds of elephants, rhinoceroses, and even shown us how lions and cheetahs eat other animals.
Our guide arrives at the hotel to pick us up before the agreed time every day. Every morning, we find that the guide has cleaned the inside and outside of the car and filled it with frozen drinks and snacks.
Heaven is a very thoughtful guide who introduced us to a lot of animal knowledge and precautions. His driving skills are very good. When encountering bumpy roads, he always decelerates in advance to reduce vehicle bumps, which brings us a very good riding experience. He is also very friendly to children, always caring about their emotions and getting along well with them. My 6-year-old child really likes him.
All our itinerary arrangements are in accordance with the contract, including hotels and attractions.

Exceeded all expectations
Working with Heather to plan this amazing trip was an incredible experience. She gave us many different options and helped us create our dream trip! She was always very responsive, helpful, and honestly planned the perfect trip! Seamless transfers, incredible lodges and hotels, made sure we never had very long travel days, and mixed in exceptional excursions along the way.
We cannot say enough about Heaven as our Safari guide. He is professional, extremely talented, personable, and takes incredible care of his guests. The safari experience of our dreams
We had the most incredible experience with Chasing Dreams Safari! We were referred by Kellie at Adventurelust Travel who knows her way around a safari, so we knew we were in good hands. And I’m so glad she recommended Heaven and Heather to help plan and guide our trip. They covered all the details starting with finding us a rare flight from Kilimanjaro to Seronera after 30+ hours of travel. Heaven’s number one priority was to make sure we had the best experience possible, and we sure did. He is a true expert when it comes to the Serengeti; he knew exactly where and when to go to make sure we saw it all: the big 5, so many lion cubs, a rhino up close, and even a kill. He made sure we knew what to expect every day, was always on time, and shared so much knowledge. Organised, professional, attentive, there in person .
From the start all communication was by email and replies were fast and informative . The detail given to help customers was full and well explained.
The service from both the Safari Company and the Lodge Staff was friendly, helpful,polite and they could not do enough to help us, Food in the Lodges was also well above our expectations, and plenty of it!
The bedrooms varied some were so luxurious it was unreal and some very standard , however you do not get to spend much time in bed!, early mornings are the norm.
Our Driver was the Star though, Pius, was so friendly, open, fun to be with , great driver and full of information and knowledge. We miss him. He also kept his vehicle immaculate, our drinking water cold ,and arranged our lunches with a smile .
